We visited in November and of course is very dry there. The park fee is very high , 50.000 ariari each EVERY day you stay there( we stayed overnight and had to pay for 2 days). The circuits are ok, nothing extraordinary, we visited about 10 parks in Madagascar . We did Retendrika ( boring ), coquereli ( 2 groups of common brown lemurs spotted ) the lake by boat and the baobab .The bungalows are spartan, bed is smaller then a queen bed , mosquitos are EVERYWHERE ( I saw people covered in a net while reading a book outside ) and they are hot like an oven ( and dark ). They are just a couple of paces away from the highway cutting the park in the middle ( a lot of trucks , even at night ). The restaurant was terrible and super pricey ( well the bungalow too..100.000 ariari is not cheap here ). The shower was leaking the WHOLE night. We barely slept . The lake is a lake , nothing extraordinary. We saw a crocodile . It is a paradise for birds seekers ( we spotted just a few ), but honestly we found it dirty ( a lot of plastic around ) and unappealing .
