Great atmosphere, great service & great food. Tonight, our bartender was Auggie, and cocktails were on point. Thank you! Our waitresses were Abbi & Aisling, they didn't miss a beat, service was excellent and they knew the menu very well, which the food was amazing and before we could ask the young ladies, there it was or done. Service & food is just excellent. Thanks, guys, for giving us a great night. Ohh! & the French fries are soooo good!! 😋

Google
Seafood restaurant in downtown Greenport. Atmosphere is very impressive, but unfortunately doesn’t make up for the somewhat disappointing food; especially considering the price (way too high). It’s worth a visit for drinks (which are great), but I would avoid ordering any meaningful amount of food.

Google
Been to Anker several times recently and have been very pleased. Been there a bit in the off season so I cant comment on how well they hold up to heavy summer crowds but our late lunches/ early dinners have been great experiences. Service has been very good and we never felt rushed. The lobster rolls were very good as well as the fish and chips. Where many places use frozen prepared fish, the Anker fish certainly certainly appears fresh and actually batter dipped on premise before hitting the fryer. Its light and crispy and when I am looking for fresh fish and chips, it is definitely my place to go. Been an overal great experience.

Google
We loved everything about this place. We had the lobster roll and crab cakes and both were incredibly delicious. The hot lobster roll has a brown butter mayo on it which was so tasty. And it had more lobster in it than it looked like. Overall fantastic experience

Google
Awesome rooftop bar overlooking the water. Fast and friendly service. Food was good had 1/2 dozen oysters and their Fish burger. With a Martini and beer. Definitely worth checking out.

Took 45 minutes to get our food, when the food came it was subpar at best. Fish sandwich was just a bunch of greens on some toasted bread and the tiniest amount of tuna. The catch of the day (sword fish) was good though. Exspensive though. Definitely paying for the view, not the food. Not worth it imo.

I recently had lunch at Anker over the Memorial Day weekend and sat in the outdoor area upstairs. The weather was perfect too! The staff at Anker were very welcoming and warm. I had the option to order from the main menu and the brunch menu which was nice. I ended up getting the Anker Fish and Chips which definitely hit the spot. I'll definitely come back here and try out some of the other items on the menu. The lobster roll caught my eye. 👀 🦞

Google
This location has seen quite a few flips over the years but I have to say this is one of the better ones. Not just serving meals and cocktails you are also able to purchase freshly caught fish to cook on your own. The rooftop are has also been nicely updated with a fresh cost of paint and clean seating. The oysters and wine is a nice mix of local and imported and the cocktails are cute mixes. Overall it was priced decently and the service was friendly. I can see the place getting too busy due to its size but it was perfect for afternoon cocktails after shopping greenport.

Yelp
We had a stellar experience at Anker, I highly recommend if you're looking for upscale seafood in a lovely setting. Service was phenomenal, we had a great server and the manager was equally helpful in getting us seated. They clearly care about the dining experience here. The oysters were delicious, they tasted so fresh and it was great getting to sample a few different types, spanning from very briny to sweet. The mussels dish was also amazing -- mussels were perfectly cooked, and they came in a sauce that had some spice, almost like a Thai curry. It was a nice change from the more traditional tomato-based sauces that are usually found in this dish. For drinks, they have an extensive wine list, as well as unique cocktails and a few beers on tap. The cocktails were excellent, with really unique flavors stealing the show. The space is lovely, really spacious with a clean, modern aesthetic. The upstairs has an open roof, and is considered "outside" if you are dining with a furry friend. All in all, well worth the splurge if you're in Greenport and want a nice meal.

Yelp
I have not had a burger in several years, and I finally decided to order a medium rare burger. The restaurant did not seem to be that busy, but our order did take a long time to appear. Eventually, the dinners came out except for mine. I patiently watched everyone at my party enjoying their dinner while I waited. When the burger finally appeared, it was well done rather than medium rare. I am starving, and I wanted to tell the server, but she never asked us if we were all good. I slowly ate the burger for a half hour, finally I gave up and finished it. When the server finally appeared and asked if we wanted anything else, I stated that I asked for a medium rare burger, but received well done and I was too hungry to wait for you to appear again. She said she would take note of it, and she did. She took off $3.00 dollars on a $30.00 dollar burger. This is my fault, not the restaurant. I should have walked into the kitchen with the burger and asked for one that was medium rare as I originally ordered. Yes, it was disappointing since it was my first burger in years, of course. The restaurant has two dining areas. The second-floor deck overlooks the water with a tropical ambiance. The floor in which we were seated was on the street level with limited tables. We also ordered asparagus, tuna tartar, and fish and chips. The muscles were not that meaty, but the sauce It was cooked in was delicious. Except for the burger issue and the service, the restaurant was good.

Yelp
My husband and I sat at the bar upstairs without a reservation. We started with the Sandy Shoals cocktails (a watermelon margarita, essentially) which was lovely. I'm not usually a fruity/sweet cocktail person but this was like fresh watermelon juice and it was so refreshing on this super hot day. Agustin was our bartender/waiter and was super friendly and fun. We ordered the char grilled oysters and the sea bass crudo as appetizers. Both were delicious. The oysters had kind of an Indian food flavoring to them. The crudo was awesome. For entrees I ordered the mussels. They were underwhelming, unfortunately. They were room temperature -not hot- which kind of ruined it. The flavors were good but some of the oysters were dried out. I feel like the dish was probably ready ten minutes before they brought it to me. My husband's burger was INCREDIBLE. I never order burgers because they just seem boring but this was amazing and far superior to the mussels. I wish I ordered it! The rhumb line cocktail was also great- I'm not usually a rum gal but this was like a rum old fashioned with cinnamon and it was fantastic.

Julie L.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients and a really nice view on 2nd fl deck. They had the best grilled Seabass dish I had in my life. Fish and chips was beer-battered, super crunchy outside, and moist-fish inside with a delicious fries on the side. Their oysters were fresh and I enjoyed them even though i am not a big fan of oysters, and their New England Clam Chowder is a must try! It is not the cheapest food you find, but considering the super fresh seafood and how they cook the dishes, it is definitely worth it. The staffs were very friendly and the food was served quickly(except for the grilled Seabass, but I could see why it took longer when I saw the quality of dish). Highly recommend this place if you are around Greenport area!!

Yelp
Just when I was ready to give up on finding great food in Greenport, this restaurant has restored my hope. The food was great and not in a "everything else was bad this is just better," kind of way. It was good enough that this Manhattan girlie hardly had any complaints. The fish and chips was superb. Extremely crispy without having too much breading. The fish was fresh and light. The dish was portioned and priced right. The watermelon salad had great flavor. I loved those candied jalapeños. I might have to steal that idea! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the watermelon drowned in oil, which pooled at the bottom of the bowl like soup. I wasn't a fan of the texture that created. My partner had the mussels which was great. I had fun dragging my French fries through his bowl. That sauce was *chefs kiss Unfortunately the "loco coco colada" was a fail. It was sour juice when it arrived at the table, with solidified beads of coconut milk. A far cry from the advertised " frozen drink." Lastly, for the serial no reservations just vibes people, the restaurant is small, so seating is tight. However I did enjoy the oyster bar seating regardless of that. It was nice to feel the breeze on my face and people watch as I chow down. I'll definitely visit Anker again when I'm back on the north fork.

Joan H.

Yelp
Friendly staff, lovely location, very mixed dining experience. On an off-season Saturday night with empty tables, the service was slow, inventory was messy (a couple items were apologetically explaine as unavailable some time after we'd ordered them), and while the quality of the seafood was fantastic when it did come out, the preparations were odd. Shishito peppers and pesto don't belong together on a plate, Parmesan is weird in aioli, and overall the menu is too limited and oddly categorized for the price point. Why are fish collars called a "small" when they're a huge serving? What's with the several canned fishes and almost no salads? Wine list is also spotty - two different reds tasted corked. And frankly, charging $20 for four grilled oysters on a giant bed of pebbles is odd. Lean into the natural bounty of Long Island with a bigger, less fussy menu.

Yelp
Sunday 1pm The whole weekend at greenport and was wondering about this place but wasn't in my radar as it wasn't recommended by friends who frequented greenport . With a later back in the city , we were enticed by the Latin rhythm coming from the upper deck level of the restaurant overlooking the water . It's a great place to diner outdoors but protected from the sun with the awning with wonderful views , fun vibe/ music and good food . The host and the manager / owner ? We're accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggages downstairs while dining upstairs. I like the vibe of the place and there's anything better than being outdoors on a beautiful day like it was that Sunday . Perfect for anyone - families , friends, couples , etc

VeeVee P.

Yelp
Went on a Tuesday for lunch. There were not too many people so the noise level was low and we got our choice of seats. There are upstairs and downstairs seating. Started with the crudo which was ok. They raw oysters were fresh and delicious served with 3 kinds of sauces. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Had the whitefish sandwich which was good. Service was okay.

Yelp
Just came from this gem on a busy Friday night. Our waitress Stephanie made the experience perfect with great suggestions of both food and wine...even matched a wine to my asparagus with truffle lemon ricotta, which was killer good. The monkey bread was outrageous, the fish and chips perfect. Our table had prawns, lobster and clams...all excellent. And again, our server Stephanie was cool, calm, collected and took the best care of us. Go!

Jeanne B.

Yelp
Stephanie was our server--she was a doll! Very personable!! Loved her! Perfect Bloody Mary's!

Alexandra L.

Yelp
The Quick: Chef Axel Irizarry is a genius! Forget farm to table, this is "nose-to-tail" -- this chef uses the best local, fresh ingredients in such creative ways that noting goes to waste. Amazing new menu, incredible outdoor roof seating (with water views!) Friendly staff, best location in town, and awesome cocktails. The Details: We've been dying to try this spot since we heard about the new chef and menu. Anker is a sister restaurant to Greenhill across the street, mostly seafood menu. The chef puts a creative spin on the freshest seafood imaginable. He uses every part of the fish in different flavorful recipes you won't find anywhere else. Black squid ink french onion dip with homemade chips? Sign me up. Grilled fish collar? Sold out, have to try next time. The clam chowder, should be basic right? Wrong! It had such a depth of flavor I can't even explain how amazing the clam chowder was (10/10 must order). I will get better photos next time, it was dark and I couldn't even capture how beautiful everything looked. Such a great addition to the North Fork!! Perfect for date night, people watching during the day (girls brunch, group outting) ... Put it this way, I'll bring my parents when they visit town. The Damage: Reasonable without drinks, of course that brings it up a notch. Absolutely worth it!

Yelp
Very impressed with Anker! My wife and I are staying in Greenport for our "mini-moon" and have been trying to cover as many restaurants as we can in the area. We walked by and Anker peaked my interest but was hesitant due to some of the Yelp reviews. I have feedback for the few fellow yelpers who almost deterred me but I wanted to give Anker the recognition they deserve first. Their interior is beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised with the upstairs where we ate. It had beautiful two toned wood floors, well designed fixtures and a gorgeous view of the water and Greenport. We started with a half dozen Yennicott Oysters and they were so fresh, light and delicious! We would have had more but we're going on an oyster tour around town tonight so this was a nice teaser. My wife spotted someone getting the crab toast delivered to their table and by the looks of it, we had to try. This was also incredible! Beautiful flavor profile, light and delicious, topped with sliced peaches and served on an airy/crunchy toast. Both texture and flavor were so well balanced. I really enjoyed this. For our main courses, my wife got the watermelon salad and WOW. This was so inventive, unique and AMAZING! She described it as "summer in a bowl" and I have to agree. It was a base of whipped ricotta cheese with pistachio and lemon topped with watermelon, mint and evoo. This dish was really worth coming here for. I got the fish and chips, they said it was black seabass but I'm pretty certain it was cod. It doesn't matter either way, the fish was crispy and golden brown on the outside and succulent and fresh on the inside. I would have loved to try it as seabass but maybe next time. Also the fillet could have been a liiittle bit thinner (it was about 2.5 inches thick) but it's completely fine and I have no reason to deduct any stars for this. They nailed the dish. The fries looked hand-cut and were double or triple fried, as they should be so that they're crispy!! I also have to throw more kudos at the chef for making guajillo tartar sauce- it's a genius collaboration of a delicious mexican pepper paired with French tartar. It has a nice bold, smokey and spicy kick. What I love about Anker is their uniqueness. Their chef is adventurous but delivers comforting and familiar flavors that really work well with each other. I will be back here for sure. To the yelpers making poor claims about this restaurant- you almost deterred me from coming! There is a McDonald's a few towns west and I promise they will deliver bland and predictable food at a cheap price. And whoever mentioned their fryer oil is dirty- seasoned fryer oil creates flavor.

Donald J.

Yelp
We stopped in for a cocktail and were welcomed by the owner and bartender Mike like we were long lost family. They have a bar and a dining area inside and another on the roof. We sat at the bar where Mike made us some fabulous cocktails that were very refreshing and delicious, we also ordered two different types of oysters on the half shell that were briney, sweet and absolutely delicious. I will definitely return on my next trip to Greenport

Hannah H.

Yelp
My hotel concierge recommended the place to me. Amazing ambiance - particularly the upper covered deck. Worth it for the view alone. Loved that it was dog friendly. Service was great, food was good. Get the mussels!

Kacey C.

Yelp
The experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting. The mussels were gone bad with strong, unpleasant odor and the manager was very rude and defensive about it. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Trevor P.

Yelp
From the moment we were greeted by the hostess--who couldn't even muster the decency to make eye contact--we knew we were in for a peculiar experience. By the time we reached the bar, it felt like we'd wandered into a parallel universe where smiles were outlawed. Ironically, the name "Anker" suits this place perfectly; it truly drags you down!

Kate B.

Yelp
Wonderful food and great service. The oysters were tasty, loved all 3 sauces served with them. The fish and chips worthy of New Zealand. Special thanks to Stephanie, our server, who was upbeat, engaging and quick to check in on how we were doing. Can't wait to go back!

Virginia T.

Yelp
My sis and I were in town for the weekend and made reservations for Anker, a first time for us both. We were worried at first when we realized it was restaurant week but we decided to try it out anyway. We are so glad we did!! The pricing was superb and the food was spectacular!!! We both had the famous, well-known turkey chili! Boy was it tasty and filling!!! I highly recommend Anker and I can't wait to try again with their regular menu! I didn't get a chance to take pics of my dishes but I did snap a pic of our appetizer which was perfect!!! Looking forward to trying out their Apple cobbler dessert which they were unfortunately out of at the time we dined. :(

Rich P.

Yelp
Great seafood and the upstairs deck is the best place in town to enjoy it. Creative or simple, Anker knows fish

Philip M.

Yelp
Top notch food, definitely worth trying it out. All kinds of options whether you're looking for a quick fish n chips or a nice meal with a grilled fish, lobster roll, and more. Conservas aren't a very popular seafood dish in Greenport but Anker brings a different perspective to seafood with these dishes with killer flavor.

Jenn S.

Yelp
2.5/3... Small but nice seating outdoors on their roof deck. The hostess was very nice and seated us right away, Thankfully we got there around 1 and somehow beat the rush because there was a sizeable line of people waiting for tables once we were set to leave. Waitress was sweet and explained the food menu and drinks. They have some fun inventive signature mixed drinks and their chowda really is that good and not just something they are told to say. Service was... Weird... We all ordered 2 dishes, but were never asked if we wanted one as the main and one as the app... So once the food started coming, 3 of us got a dish and one of us got nothing. Ok... Then we waited a while for our second dishes... One of us got both of their dishes at once with 2 of us getting our dishes as well and then another person at our table didn't get their dish for another 10 min... And as he was holding the last couple of bites of his meal in his hand the busboy just takes his dish from under him... It was really bizarre and wasn't sure where the disconnect was but kitchen and foh seriously REALLY need to do a better job of communicating... Some of the entrees were ridiculously overpriced: a piece of avocado toast with some potatoes cubes and a simple salad really shouldn't cost $14...but I digress. Lobster roll was on point as were the blackened shrimp tacos. On the fence about returning here when we're back in the area, so we shall see.

Mary P.

Yelp
Best crab cakes we ever had.. and what spectacular views! Stephanie behind the bar is fabulous & makes the best cocktails! Ashlyn was such a sweetheart, too! Great place in Greenport & perfect spot to grab a bite before seeing a show/film at the Arts Center

Beth W.

Yelp
That moment when your meal is so good the kitchen deserves a round of beers!! Last night was that meal ~ the Seafood Tower, Lobster Roll and Monkfish swimming in a buttery, citrus, herbed sauce. So flipping good! The staff was amazingly wonderful too.

Emilie S.

Yelp
The mussels we ordered as main dishes were a good portion for a decent price - $26 - and were quite good. However, the $28 fish charcuterie board was so small that it was actually comical. This is the first time in my life I've ever actually been so surprised by the portion of a dish. There were 4 tiny pieces of each of the three types of fish that were included on the board, and maybe a teaspoon each of the jelly and carrot toppings. Plus some pickled veggies that were honestly kinda gross. The sever was friendly and pretty attentive. She checked in soon after we received each dish. The ambiance, to me, was meant to give off a nice but somewhat casual setting. For this reason, the charcuterie board totally threw me off, as I was not expecting something so measly at this place. The mussels and server saved the meal and brought this up to 3 stars. But that charcuterie board had me in a state of shock for the rest of the meal and set the tone for my opinion of the place.

Talia F.

Yelp
I really hate to leave a restaurant a bad review but I just had the most underwhelming dinner ever. We had to send back the monkey bread as it was stale. They said the white wine needed to be chilled and offered us a complimentary glass of wine while they chilled it. Then they brought over a warm bottle. We sent back the bottle and then they charged us for the complimentary wine. The seafood tower was flavorless. The only thing worth eating on the incredibly over priced seafood tower was the shrimp. Long story short we will not be coming back.

Anthony V.

Yelp
Went for Lunch today with my wife. We were seated upstairs under the canopy with an amazing view. I am a charter fishing guide and I can tell you that the seafood is fresh , fresh fresh. Some inventive preparation that is unique. Service was spot on Give it a try.

justin N.

Yelp
The breeze from the bay is ethereal. The oysters were so fresh you could taste the ocean. So glad there was a wait at the crab shack in the parking lot. Good music, delicious food, and everyone is so kind. The hostess was the cherry on top.

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Sat at the bar for some beverages and had a wonderful time! The bartender was awesome and made some great recommendations. We frequent this spot, but this was the first time we sat at the bar for drinks. Great choice!

David W.

Yelp
Amazing place. The hostess greeted us with a smile and escorted us to the rooftop bar. Service is exceptional. Augustine was the bartender. Greeted us immediately. His wine suggestions were spot on. Very attentive. Don't go to Claudio's and Crabby Jerry's. They're not even trying. We walked out of Crabby Jerry's after being ignored at the bar. Straight to Anker. It's night and day.

Kevin C.

Yelp
Don't come hungry go this restaurant! TINY portions for overpriced food. The 2 tiny crab cakes, alone on a plate for $24 with no side, were bleh. And sorry, the misspelling of Anchor is dumb.

Jules K.

Yelp
Great chill vibe with delicious food and drinks! Best fish and chips I can remember...Black Sea bass!!!

Michelle R.

Yelp
Anker has some definite good points- it is in a great location and the ambience and view upstairs are lovely. Our waiter was very friendly and professional, and overall the service was fast. The food, though, was just OK. We had a watermelon and tomato salad to start which was extremely fresh and delicious, but the entrees (risotto and duck) were underwhelming by comparison, especially considering the rather high prices. The risotto had a nice color and texture but was lacking in flavor aside from saltiness. The quality of the duck breast (which I am guessing is local) seemed very good, and the outside was seared really nicely, but it was lukewarm and slightly undercooked, and served with a quinoa salad that tasted like something you'd buy in the prepared foods section of a bodega. Again, though, the vibe is good. I would go back for beers or cocktails for sure, or might try checking out the lunch menu at some point, but definitely won't go back for dinner.

Janice L.

Yelp
Waited 10 minutes for the waiter to come to our table, drinks took 20+ min. They said nothing about these delays. Prices are on the high end for Greenport. The food is adequate for the price point. After the food was served, no one stopped to check on us.

Emma R.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant twice this month! the mussels first attracted me on my solo date just relaxing at the bar, and then brought me back for a round of drinks and apps with my friends and family! they never EVER disappoint. the menu is so unique from other restaurants in the area that i've been going to my whole life, but whatever i try always blows away my expectations. Love the upstairs outdoor covered seating which is perfect at sunset. Would definitely recommend to anyone even if it's just for a drink and some appetizers! Definitely my favorite restaurant spot in greenport this summer

Tom G.

Yelp
Amazing experience. The staff and bar tender Alec were above any expectations I could have asked for. They know their drink and food pairing well and the food is more the worth coming back for. Myself and a friend had 2 dozen oysters(from 4 different regions) the snow crab claws(excellent) and the swordfish marrow dish(I would come back to eat this every day if I could). The cook personally came out to express his gratitude and explained the history of the dishes.

Keeley T.

Yelp
Overall, our experience wasn't the best. The hostess looked right through us as though we weren't there and seated people who were standing behind us. They did not have a reservation. Then she looked down to read something for several minutes, ignoring us. Finally a man asked us if we needed help with something-- not even saying something to the effect of asking us if we would like a table. That should have been a sign to leave. The waitress was curt as soon as she came over to us. We were seated outside in the front because there was only one high chair available. I'm at the point in my life where I don't need to feel judged by customer service staff. My husband's steak was extremely fatty. He couldn't eat much of it. He ordered shrimp which were served with heads and legs on! He only ate two. Apart from looking alive, it wasn't cooked well. I was so disturbed by the heads and legs being left on that I couldn't eat it. The lobster roll with brown butter was good, but the portion was extremely small (about 1.5 oz) and didn't come with fries or salad. The website menu says it is $24 while the restaurant menu says $32. At that price point, it wasn't worth it. We found the staff to be rude. They weren't at all friendly and didn't seem to care that they work for tips. Had they shown a different attitude, we surely would have ordered something else. I spend a lot of money when we go out, so I expect to be treated nicely. It would be a good investment of the owner's time to teach their staff basic customer service. We come to Greenport every summer and this has been the first poor experience we've ever had at any restaurant. We usually visit the restaurants we like more than once on our trip. Needless to say, this is not a place I plan to visit in the future. The two stars is for the brown butter being the only good thing about this place.

Despina H.

Yelp
Honestly, I dont know where to begin! The food was horrible, my husband and my son got food poisoning from the fried fish and tuna burger! They got my order wrong the first time, and when I finally got my fish it was not cooked all the way, it was raw! The clam chowder, was NOT a clam chowder. Service was dysfunctional! The only good thing about this place was the view!

M F.

Yelp
I had a lovely and delicious lunch here today. Do not be dissuaded by the prior negative reviews. The service was friendly and prompt. The upstairs outdoor area is gorgeous. The drinks were excellent. I had the crab toast (delicious) and the shrimp cocktail (perfectly cooked and the sauces were excellent). Finished with the sundae.

Joanne G.

Yelp
Over-the-top amazing food, staff and ambiance! Four ladies celebrating a milestone birthday, could not have been more pleased with the eclectic selection of food. We shared and loved all the dishes we ordered. The Kabocha squash, artichoke crab dip, fish & chips, char grilled oysters were all amazing. One lady was "culinarily challenged" so they made her a special chicken dish; she ended up leaving her comfort zone to taste everything and loving all of it. The staff were extremely accommodating and brought us complimentary deserts. I highly recommend this restaurant and have been inspired to re-create some of the dishes at home - wish me luck!

Dan D.

Yelp
Stylish, off beat seafood bistrot w great drinks and unusual marine creations with excellent local ingredients. Super service and setting.

Jill I.

Yelp
Amazing dinner experience on every level. Food was fresh and delicious with creative ingredients. Our party of 3 Sat on their roofdeck with good music and views of the water. Everything we ate was spectacular. We loved their swordfish special, mussels, blue claw crab toast and porgy sausage, oh and and their fish and chips. We left no room for dessert but heard that's a must try - something to look forward to next time!

Randy K.

Yelp
Well I like different styles but this went a bit too far. The clam chowder was a disappointment but maybe some people love it. The blue claw toast looked great but too much citrus and dill to appreciate the crab. The porgy sausage was interesting but it taste like a mushy hotdog. The fish and chips were amazingly good but my wife's mussels disappointed her. Staff seemed a bit confused at times. So much staff that actually just walk around. I should of read the menu better before making reservations here. I guess my taste is out of the loop

Lydia S.

Yelp
Came here the day before Veterans Day with my friend we drove from Queens it tooks 2 and half hours after rush hour. The seating area was up a long flight of stairs and the table had high chairs which were very difficult for Seniors to sit on. We wanted seafood so we both ordered the Lobster Rolls , Baked Clam and a Salad every thing was horrible !!! and it all had so much Dill on it. Both the clams and lobster were tough to chew. I have had Lobster Rolls in Freeport and other restaurants in Long Island not only was this bad but it was over priced too. The only thing I enjoyed was the beer and the view. It took us more than 4 hours to get home during the rush hour. It was a waste of time, gas and money!!

Tim R.

Yelp
Came in for a nice late dinner. They sat a table of 8 next to us that was very loud (drunk) and I mentioned it and they said sorry but did nothing about it. Order the blackened swordfish and really didn't like how they prepared it. The steak was also not prepared in a way that we liked. Sorry, I will not go back there. Not my taste.

Erin S.

Yelp
Young staff, so expect some of that vibe... but the place is great. The open air roof bar is fab - the food is lovely - the cocktails are top notch too.

Eva S.

Yelp
Everything about our lunch at Anker was phenomenal. The food was so fresh and flavorful, the service was quick and welcoming, and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Mary C.

Yelp
We have not experienced bad service here, but either way the food is amazing. One of the best menus and food quality in Greenport, imho. We're adventurous, so we try everything. We loved everything we were presented with. We're avid restaurant connoisseurs and we just don't get the negativity. Food is some of the best out here. Our favorite restaurant is Al's Place in San Francisco and Anker is reminiscent of Al's. Such a win for us!

Yelp
The view was fabulous and decor was great, but we all didn't really like the food. Quite a few of us for lunch. Had several of the Lobster roll which was pretty good but the Fish and Chips were so over fired and super dark which means the oil was not clean. The Whitefish sandwich was Blue Fish and had a very weird taste. It was Just overall very greasy and not what we thought it would be. The fries were also dark from the oil. We also had to ask for out drinks several times and pour our own bottle of wine.

Yelp
Limited menu. Over priced "fru-fru" food. I prefer less fussy trendy, more flavorful food. Raw oysters were superb ( hard to mess up). Lemonade was delicious. Clam chowder was full of clams but needed more salt and less taragon. It was almost there but herb overpowered the delicious clams. Monkfish cubano was overpowered by lamb panchetta. Crab toast was fussy to eat and again seafood taste of yummy crab was overwhelmed by citrus and spices. Deck was pretty.
