Stayed here for two nights in a twin room. Room was great with en suite and a mini kitchen - equipment for the kitchen can be hired for a fee. The bed was comfortable but would have preferred an extra pillow. Wardrobe and table in the room too, had hangers in the wardrobe. When checked in we were given linen and towels and cards for our room. Used the lift to go to the room. At night you use the night entrance that can only be accessed with the key card, and same onto the corridors of the rooms. All was an excellent value. Checking in was easy, showed our passports. We didn’t use the common area etc during our stay. Felt safe inside the building all the time. Our room was at the front of the building next to the tram stop, when windows were closed it was quiet. Location is on the outskirts of the city centre, about 10 minute walk. One area didn’t feel very safe when walking to the hostel from the centre, there was always groups hanging around and felt very uneasy to walk past - when coming out of the hostel, turning right and walking straight over at the cross roads towards the city centre. There are better routes to walk to avoid that area. However, actual location of the hostel was good, it was quiet, next to a tram stop, shop a few doors down.

The hostel is well located, 10-15 min walking to the train station, with a tram stop opposite the hotel and a Narvesen shop on the corner to buy a quick bite. The staff was kind and gave us all the necessary information. You can rent cooking equipment to take to your room, there a small lounge area next to reception and you can buy hot drinks as well, with a machine serving free hot water. The hostel feels safe, has stairs and lift, access to which is with a fob (room card key). The room was big enough for 6 people (we were 5) although I think it had less chairs. In our room we had a mini fridge, oven with hobs and cupboards. I don't remember seeing a cupboard for clothes so I wouldn't stay long. What I would have preferred to be different is that you have to collect your towels and bedlinen from reception upon check-in and make your own bed. The bathroom, although functional and good enough, had some details as well: there was some mold on the ceiling and since the shower doesn't have any separation to the rest of the bathroom but with a curtain, all the floor gets wet. There's a squeegee you can use to wipe but since it's a small one you have to squat down to do so. Not very comfortable. The water from the shower was super warm and with good pressure, allowing for a comforting shower.

It is a good, cheap budget hostel.Heating was non-existent. Not freezing but was definitely a bit chilly. You have to grab your own bedsheets and towels when checking in, and drop them off at reception when checking out. Bit of a hassle when you are in a hurry and have to juggle with heavy luggage crossing multiple doors and lifts and key card.Pillows were almost flat - not good for your neck. Had to use extra bedsheets to make them usable. In the shower, hot water came 4-5 minutes after turning on the tap - lots of water waste. Hot water didn't came at all in the basin, so I had to shave with cold water.I understand you get what you pay for it was still not cheap.

Probably the most nonsensical hostel I've ever stayed in. There is no shared kitchen. Reception has a microwave, and that's it. If you want the water boiler, you gotta ask reception to turn it on for you. If you need any kitchen utensils, you gotta ask reception as well. But you can only do that during reception working hours. The room has a kitchen, but it doesn't have ANY utensils whatsoever. What's the point???????? And if you want to take the utensils from the reception to the room, you need to leave a deposit. Another huge minus is the fact that there are NO LOCKERS in the rooms. Are you kidding me????? And the reception has a luggage room, but there are no cameras and if someone steals anything the hostel isn't responsible, great! What's the point of having a luggage room if anyone can just take your stuff and nobody will do anything? At least the hostel was very clean, and the staff was nice, and I can understand these weird rules are not their fault. Another negative aspect is that there are no power outlets near the beds, and even in the reception area, the power outlets are far from the tables, very inconvenient. Oh and the reception area has toilets, but you can't just go and open the door and use the toilet, no, of course not, you need to ask reception for the key to the toilet, like seriously??? It's just a toilet for God's sake. The location looks good on a map, it's a 10min walk to the center, but in reality the area is horrible, full of drug addicts all day long, often literally right in front of the hostel doing drugs. I wasn't so scared because I'm a man, but I wouldn't recommend this place for a woman. The internet/wifi was good. And all of this for an absolutely absurd price. I cannot believe I paid for this. Honestly, it's worth 10eur at most. Sadly, I had to pay several times this amount.

Location is good other than that it is a whole disappointment. Very pricey for the conditions. Dirty rooms, there was exact dirt on the bathroom floor. Bad Wifi connection, you cannot connect Wifi at all. The room for 3 ppl is quite big but not convenient. There is little kitchen but no equipment, you can borrow from reception tho. You can smell smoke and cooking smells from other rooms.

This was the most reasonable hotel for the price and area for the week we booked. Location is very close to Oslo centre. Room was a bit small for 3 but since we were out most if the days, it was adequate for us. First time we had a wet room for a shower room. Was small but functional. Had no bath mat thou, or anywhere to put shower stuff in shower. also no tea/coffee making facilities. However overall it was a reasonable room. The highlight was the breakfast. Very good selection and variety.

Central location, directly by tram line. Clean rooms. Very simple but it is a hostel so that’s what you expect. Kitchens in private rooms big plus !

We stayed in a 4 bed mixed room. It had an oven and hob, which we used every morning and evening (you pay a deposit for cooking/cleaning/utensils). The staff are super friendly and solve any minor issues straight away. The tram is right infront of the hostel so it's really easy to get up and go anywhere. Issues: The bathrooms in the lobby really smelled, and we're quite unclean. There are no lockers for your stuff in the room For some reason, just a little bit down the road, both drunks and drug addics like to hang around and make the street a bit sketchy
