Excellent, quaint hotel in a great neighbourhood. We really liked our (corner) room - spacious, modern but with personality, floor to ceiling windows, quiet. The neighbourhood (near Chinatown) has some excellent bars, restaurants, and is very close to Maxwell Food Centre hawker zone and an MRT station. The lobby is a great and well used space - snacks all day, morning coffee, wine happy hour. Very inviting, charming, boutique hotel. Was one the best finds of this trip.

A wonderful and elegant hotel with an excellent location — just a 10-minute walk from the China Town market. We booked a corner room; it was spacious, bright, clean, and stylish. The staff were friendly and cheerful. In the lobby on the first floor, there’s complimentary coffee, tea, nuts, and biscuits. You can also refill your water bottles from the lobby anytime you need. For a luxurious stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

Ann Siang House is a charming boutique stay with a lot of character. The rooms vary quite a bit – some are very spacious and beautifully designed, while others feel a bit tighter and less impressive, so it’s worth checking in advance which category you book. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, though the place can feel a little understaffed at times. On the plus side, the complimentary drinks and free laundry are a real treat and add great value. The location is fantastic – right next to Maxwell Food Centre, with plenty of local eats and nightlife just around the corner. Overall, a solid choice if you want a unique stay in the heart of Singapore.

I enjoyed staying here at this hotel. Rooms were good, clean, comfortable and heaps of space. Hotel staff was nice, friendly and helpful. The free laundry service was good and easy to use at the hotel. Location in China town is excellent. Walking distance to food hawker centre, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. It’s about 20min walk to city centre. I would stay here again.

Would not recommend to anyone looking for a good night’s sleep. The rooms are not sound proof and the hotel is right next to a karaoke place that seems to go on till late at night. The service is also sub-par. The room pictures on Booking.com are misleading, and there are several design flaws. We also had the heater break down at one point. Overall, the only thing the hotel has going for it is the location.

We loved our stay at Ann Siang, an amazing location close to the hawker centre, a train line, a short walk to the bay. The FoH were all lovely and welcoming! The hotel itself was tastefully decorated and super comfortable. We loved the little touches like a complimentary washing machine and free flow social hour for free wine - and the free snacks! We would love to come back one day!

We had a very pleasant stay (5 nights). The hotel is very nice furnished and very clean, the staff is very kind. The location cannot be better! It also offers a wine and snack happy hour for the guests.

My daughter had a delightful 3-night stay at this hotel and we had a chance to enjoy some of it's amenities when we visited on one evening. While the room wasn't large, it was incredibly cosy, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features was the impressive pantry area in the lobby—it was spacious, comfortable, and stocked with a fantastic selection of drinks, coffee, cookies, pastries, and snacks, all available for guests to enjoy. It truly added a touch of convenience and indulgence to the stay. The bathroom was another highlight—spacious and very comfortable, providing a sense of luxury. Overall, this hotel combines comfort and thoughtful amenities to create a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Fabulous boutique hotel! Excellent location next to great shopping, restaurants, Chinatown, and easy access to transportation. The staff were great, and attentive to every request, especially early check in as our flight came in early. Overall we enjoyed this great little boutique hotel.

I would give this place seven stars if I could. It gave me the BEST Christmas staycation I've had. A group of us (six I think) checked in during Xmas eve last year, following our tradition of staycations every Xmas. We didn't expect much from The Club, thought it was just another boutique hotel meant for tourists who want to be close to Chinatown. Boy, were we impressed. The place was BEEUWTIFUL. We were surprised by the *RAIN SHOWER (!!!)* and bathrobes, AND the iPhone DOCKS (!!!) just next to the bed. They had impeccable service from the start till the end. In every phone call and face-to-face room service, check-in check-outs, they've set the standards for the rest of our annual staycations. We requested for extra pillows, we got it. Requested for extra toilet rolls, we got it. And it was all done with advertisement-worthy friendliness. AND THEN. Here comes the climax: It was Xmas. So we bought cheapo Fairprice Xmas set of chicken, ham and pork knuckle. But they were CHILLED. Meaning cold and cannot eat. We shamelessly requested for The Club kitchen staff to heat it up for us, THEY SAID YES. And wait, there's more. The chef told us that pork knuckles cannot be just heated up, it has to be FRIED in order to be properly done. SO HE FRIED IT FOR US. After which, they gave us ice for drinks. AND also complimentary Xmas cakes. WTF?! I remember last time we stayed in a five star hotel near Marina Square area during Xmas and all we got was a yellow rubber ducky. Quack Quack. Welcome to The Club. There I've said it. (Still not convinced? Check out the pictures I've uploaded.)

We had a hen's night gathering here, and decided on The Club due to its accolades on trip advisor. It's got a quirky black/white theme, interesting decorative pieces, and boasts the famous B28 whisky bar. It's not huge place, i.e. boutique, but we found the corridor layout very interesting with curves and steps out of nowhere. The room was spacious, and each has a Chinese word in red. Ours was "he", meaning harmony, good sign for a marriage to come eh? A friend found it a little weird though, as the glowing red sign reminded her of a Chinese altar. Amenities were ho hum, and the shower stall real estate was much more generous than I expected. Reception area was tiny, though there were two plush sofas for lounging unabashedly in. Receptionists were very kind to help take loads and loads of photos of us, for us, which we much appreciated.

This is a first time for me and my friends to experience a hotel carrying a black and white colour scheme. The Club Hotel is a boutique hotel located within the proximity of Chinatown MRT and Tanjong Pagar MRT. But the usual businesses around the area open late and close early. My friends decided to have a three-day stop-over in Singapore before heading to Manila. They wanted me to drop by their hotel so what the heck, I might like it and recommend it to my other friends. So I decided to take a bus from the CityHall MRT. After three stops, I just needed to walk that uphill of a road and after a couple of minutes, the hotel's door is there welcoming me. The receptionist was really nice in interacting with me. After she has informed my friends, she graciously directed me towards the elevator and informed me that upon reaching my floor of destination, the door behind me would open. So when I entered the room, it's what I would describe as modern minimalist-with the bed as the center of attention. They don't offer breakfast with the accommodation but they do have a French restaurant downstairs. The hotel was very pleasant to look at. But before considering this, it's best that you consider your options first.

Great hotel! Super kind and helpful staff that went over and beyond for us, and the location was perfect- in the center of some of the best Singapore attractions!

The Club is on the whole worthy of 5 stars. It's a lovely 20-room property in a hip neighborhood, although the surrounding bar scene can get raucous on weekend nights. If you need total silence, this place is not for you. But it is definitely more fun than the megas on Orchard Road, where, true to form, the doorman at one got busy checking our credentials to see if we could grace the taxi rank. While not guests, we demonstrated that we had lunched at the place. I've digressed but am eager to point out the differences. The only downsides to The Club: the junior staff are struggling to get their acts together. Ordering room service, we had to send the waitperson back down to get something that had been forgotten, sometimes more than once, and without fail for every breakfast. And one day, returning to the hotel at 4 for some needed cool-down from the Singapore heat, our room hadn't yet been visited by housekeeping. The excuse was pretty flimsy, something about needing to prioritize rooms that were in turnover to new arrivals. If you know what you're in for if coming to Singapore soon after this review is posted, you'll love The Club and its unique and comfortable premises.
