Anna Hotel

We booked this Hotell at the last minute after mistakenly booking a hotel near Vallberga instead of Valleberga. Anna was able to accommodate three rooms with just a few hours' notice, even though she only has 11 rooms. We arrived about 7 pm and it was no problem to serve us dinner. The dinner was exceptional!||The rooms were quaint and comfortable and very well-appointed. The breakfast she serves is outstanding and although I am vegan, she was able to accommodate me without any issues, this was truly appreciated as my travels through Scandanavia have been uneven in terms of finding food.||Anna, thank you so much for the information about the House of Emigrants in Vajox. We were able to meet with Gunnar for almost two hours and he found the relatives we were searching for. Our trip to Sweden was partly to research relatives although we didn't have too much information about them and didn't prepare that well, but the visit to Vajox was more than we expected and extremely helpful. It was just what my mother was looking for!

Highly recommended! Anna's hotel was our best location during our road trip through Sweden. We were warmly welcomed by Anna and received many tips to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room is very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is very tasty. We have always been able to breakfast outside on the terrace in the sun. An ideal location to explore Kristianstad and the surrounding area. If we can we will definitely come back. :-)

I stayed with Anna as the host of this beautiful hotel in May 2023. The venue is close to the university where I needed to be for work. The location is quiet and within easy reach of the local university, and a reasonable walk to the city. Anna and her husband are the perfect hosts, friendly, knowledgeable and totally welcoming. ||The hotel is quaint, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean. The experience was enhanced by a wonderful breakfast and perfect decor to enjoy in the dining, decked areas and living room.||Thank you Anna and Kenneth, I'll definitely be back, you completed my Swedish stay in style and comfort 😊 Wonderul

I guess the lady who welcomed us was Anna herself. Very friendly, polite and helpful. She really cares about maintaining her status of the best hotel in Sweden (yes, that's true). The hotel is indeed small, but so nice and cosy, you feel care about guests in every detail. Don't be surprised if you will find that your room remained untouched when you arrive a 2nd day: this means that you probably did not notice a sign that you could have hanged on your door knob saying "yes, Anna, I want you to tidy up my room" (not sure if the quote is precise though). In any case you will find a reel of toilet paper on your door knob, meaning that yes, Anna was here. In the room you will find all you need, including tea kettle, tea, coffee. Very soft mattress, couple of pillows, extra blankets, etc. Breakfast is an unforgettable experience. Prepare to be served like a king or queen: exquisite tableware, variety of fresh-made juices, boiled eggs with black caviar, several kinds of herring, traditional beans and meatballs (though no scrambled eggs but maybe we were just too lazy to ask for them). Great variety of cereals (personally the one I liked most was mixed by Anna herself, the one with black chocolate pieces). And a glass of fresh made smoothy that was different every day. Also there is a sitting room full of wonders and nice music, where you can just chat with your friends, browse some books or magazines or just relax. Otherwise if you need to work with your laptop, the table in your room is just right for that. And if you feel the urge to keep a piece of this cosiness with you, the original napkins, tablecloth, honey, candles, etc. are for sale. And don't forget to fill the book of gratitude when you leave, I am sure you'll have something to say :)

My husband and I stayed during a trip to kristianstad recently. The place has a good location but the rooms are small. I was disappointed with communication from the owner. Check-in was confusing and we followed instructions for check-out, yet she complained. Also the entire building smells like people are smoking.

We had a lovely time staying in||Annas Hotell. The hotel is beautifully decorated and so was our room. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean and refined. We had breakfast outside on the beautiful terrace because of the nice weather, but the inside breakfast room also is a delightful room and breakfast is varied and healthy. Anna, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful lady.|| We will defintely stay there again during our next stay in Southerm Sweden.

if you want to spend a few days in a peacfull atmosphere in nice surrounding not far from the sea, you should choose this hotel. You will not regret it. Your stay will be nice and easy in friendly atmosphere. After delicious breakfast you’ll spend your day in scandinavian spirit and when you decide to return Anna will welcome you at the front door asking about your day. What can you expect more? Fantastic place, wonderfull people. I have a great time every time I go there. Only a pity, can’t go there more often.

A very nice little caring hotel just outside city centre, but comfortable walking distance. Private parking. Bikes. Very personal but not a bit "to close". Anna's is just caring. We had a double and it was spacious, comfortable and felt very unused. Small caring details. Anna was very helpful and informative with humour. Breakfast just excellent. Highly recommend!
