This place was very cozy and traditional. I’d give the food about 3 stars. I had the lasagna, it was good, but a little dry for my taste. My boyfriend had the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola, which we didn’t love, but that might just be because we’re not used to such a strong cheese flavor. Aside from that, the service and atmosphere were wonderful, and the staff made us feel very welcome.

oh wow, the taste of the food here is amaaaaazing and subtle and simple. i got the pork chop, which comes with potatoes. Braciola di maiale, and a side salad. the flavor and texture was wonderful. the space is nice too, and the service is courteous and welcoming. when it gets full, the sound bounces off the walls and creates an echo so come early if you don't that auditory overload. i meant to go back a second time and try their wonderful pasta dishes and regret having missed that.

A solid and traditional trattoria with friendly but no nonsense service and generous servings. It's obvious this place has history and long may it continue. I really enjoyed my lunch here.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Quite the old school trattoria vibe. Food was stellar. Will visit again during my stay in Bologna.

Best Tagliatelle al Ragú I’ve had in Bologna but certainly not the only delicious thing. The Tortellini al la Mortadella were a great surprise! The restaurant has the original trattoria feel.

Cheerful local institution with all the standards of Bolognese food. The walls are adorned with thank you wishes from many famous and not so famous visitors. When we were there two waiters somehow managed to serve a big crowd, and were still friendly. The food was fine but not quite up to our hopes.

I gave 3 starts just because the menu not suitable at all for Muslims or even for who doesn't want to eat pork, there is a few choice for Muslims or vegetarian, However we have eat one dish name taliolini al cipolla was fantastico, very delicious, The service was amazing 👏 and the atmosphere was really nice , We enjoyed the dish we orders , but was the only one can eat , I believe all the rest of dishes its good also but unfortunately not for Muslims or vegetarian..
