Very good food just needed more seating but the food was amazing

This ARGUEABLY has to be the best local owned family friendly fast food restaurant in town! You can feel the warmth in the food! AND ITS SOOOOO CHEAP!

First thing I have to say is even if the food wasn't good. I'd come back because of the excellent customer service. I ended up getting the shrimp platter which came with fried rice. The shrimper really good and the fried rice was actually delicious. It wasn't greasy which tends to be the case with similar places. But believe it or not the star of this particular meal happened to be the tartar sauce which was absolutely delicious. I'm not saying it was homemade but it definitely tasted like. Creamy tangy and just an overall richness. I paid just a little under $11 on this meal. I don't even live here but I could see myself driving 30 minutes or so just to pick something up from this place.

No need in ordering, food is not prepared til you get there and pay - right, so why call 🤷🏾‍♀️. Worker came from back with nasty attitude because I requested my money back - couldn’t because that big mouth probably lost her the opportunity to learn. Yes, I took the food instead of going back tomorrow for the refund (liable to get there and they would be closed). Please read the menu, it’s says “fish,” so if you’re not a diehard “catfish” addict, this is not your place. Lastly, “fish” terribly undercook (trying to rush it cause I wanted my money back, I suppose). Horrible service and food

You can't go wrong here. The batter can only be judge by taste buds. Order the small, it's still big. Order the large and have a picnic. Pictures do not reveal the flavor that reaches you. Have you had Alligator Garfish? I have and it was like a fried pork chop that wasn't sinful. Come to this place. You'll be exhausted from the amount of delicacy.

The food is so good. The place is small and you can only get take out. The staff is very friendly and quick to wait on you and answer any questions. The service is almost always quick your in and out. It's very sad that they had to close. I wish the owners best of luck with everything

Season to perfection and perfectly cooked. During lent or any day of the week swing by and get some delicious food. Quick and friendly service.

I decided to give this place a try after passing in front of it yesterday. I remembered hearing a couple of people talk about how the food was good. So after doing my own research on this particular place I figured why not stop by and pick something up to eat. Well I can definitely say I'm not disappointed. Small clean spot apparently it's been around for a number of years. I ended up getting a small shrimp platter with the fried rice and some tartar sauce on the side. The fried rice was pretty good wasn't salty like I tend to find at some places nor was it greasy. The shrimp were tender and had a good flavor. Although the food tasted pretty good the tartar sauce was the best. Yes I did say the tartar sauce. It was absolutely delicious. I did not ask but I would say it was homemade. Creamy, rich, tangy and herby. Also I appreciate and liked how respectful the lady working on my visit was to all of the customers. This is something you don't see everyday. I've only seen this type of awesome customer interaction once this year. It was at a restaurant I ate at while working in Monroe Louisiana. Even if the food wasn't good I would return to this place just because of the great customer service.

Beautiful authentic fresh fresh product The red snapper melts in your mouth. The shrimp the packaging is spot on. I only wish we could order bigger pieces.

Fresh and made to order! First time visitor! The place was clean in waiting area and very much organized. Sweet staff. No complaints.

Their fried fish is so limpy, I don't like it. Probably is tilapia anyways. Place is trashy and nasty. Ate here once and never again.

Nice family owned place. They only do takeout and close at 7 pm. and on weekends. Fried shrimp is wonderful, as are the chicken strips. They are so huge and breading is light and flavorful. Very modest prices also. They also have fresh and fresh frozen shrimp at very low prices. Hard to go wrong here.

Perfectly breaded and fried shrimp and catfish platter. Like the fired rice instead of French fries. Good cheap eats.

This is where we should have gone first in New Iberia (see my other review for today). We got a shrimp po-boy that was just chock-a-block full of jumbo tasty and tender shrimp. If I ever go there again I'm going to see if they can make me a shrimp bahn mi sandwich.

I come here every so often and sometimes overlook this place although I'm from New Iberia. AWESOME SEAFOOD AND LUNCHES AT GREAT PRICES!!! You get a lot for the money, the food is great, and service is not bad at all. If you are in the New Iberia area, I recommend this place.

Work a few blocks away from this great food place. Me and other co-workers order at least 2 or 3 times a week for our lunch here. The shrimp platters are wonderful. The catfish is delicious. All orders are cooked upon order so all food is as fresh as you can get it. The prices are unbeatable. Drop in or call in an order and enjoy the great seafood they have to offer.

A great place to get good food at a reasonable price and the wait is never too long. I go for the small platters as the large takes me two days to finish. I would and do recommend the place when someone is looking to just pick it up and take home.
