Anna Shanthi Villa

The place is really good and fine to reach by walking from Kandy city centre, more or less 10-15 minutes walking round the lake (pretty walking time in the morning). The rooms are really good and the breakfast one of the best I had in all Sri Lanka. The service is more than fine: friendly guy from Sidney is driving the hotel, so you will feel like home during your stay.

2-minute walk from Kandy Lake, Anna Shanthi Villa offers basic air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Free morning tea is offered, which guests can enjoy in the landscaped gardens or in the dining room. Anna Shanthi Villa is a 10-minute drive from Kandy City Centre. It is a 2-hour, 30-minute drive from Colombo International Airport. There is free parking on-site. The villa provides daily wake-up calls to rooms upon request. En suite bathrooms are equipped with hot-water showers. Daily newspapers are also available. Laundry and ironing services are provided by the hotel. Airport shuttles can be arranged at an extra charge.

We got a welcome drink. A very nice staff. The breakfast was very fine. The room was small enough. At evening we sat outside and enjoy the warm evening. For dinner we go approx.. 20 minutes via the Candylake to the city.

Very good place to stay in Kandy. Excellent staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, excellent breakfast and outstanding service. Highly recommend for everyone who visited Kandy city.
