Annaharvey Farm

My 16-year-old daughter and I visited Annaharvey for the first time and were absolutely blown away by the beautiful setting and the charming country house we stayed in. From the sweet honesty box for refreshments to the delicious traditional Irish breakfast, everything was thoughtful and welcoming. The horses were amazing — so well behaved and cared for, gentle, and clearly loved. My daughter had three group lessons per day, including an incredible cross-country hack with Jean, a wonderful instructor who was endlessly encouraging and supportive. In just two days, her confidence grew enormously. We met people from all over the world who come back time and time again to ride their favourite horse — which says everything about how special Annaharvey is. Charlotte also made sure everything was perfectly arranged and that we had everything we needed. It was such a special bonding overnight for us, and we can’t recommend Annaharvey highly enough. We’ll definitely be returning to this little piece of heaven!

Stayed in the 2 bedroom self catering apartment myself and 2 teenage girls. It was a perfect few days away. Wonderful riding facilities and ponies, beautiful grounds and the most encouraging instructors and friendly staff. The apartment has everything you’d need. Location was great. We were able to go exploring in between lessons. Would definitely book again!

Excellent riding school. Horses very well looked after and very kindly treated. My girls love their teacher Margo and had a great experience of the pony camp with the trainer also 🥰 Highly recommend this school 🫶🏻

Excellent stay at Annaharvey Farm. The horses were beautiful and matched well to each of us. The instructors were very encouraging. The B & B was a real gem with Excellent service and food. Thanks to all the team.

Recently stayed five nights and booked the entire house for five families. Warm welcome by the hosts and very helpful whenever needed. Really enjoyed the stay, big kitchen, reading area, horse riding lessons, farm lands for long walk etc. Big bedrooms and plenty of space for children to play. The instructors were really encouraging, and understanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we’re planning our next visit in few months’ time.

The stables were amazing. We went jumping on the XC course, it was an incredible experience. The horses were excellent as well. We were treated amazingly by the owner who set the activity’s up for us. We’re definitely planing on coming again.

Spend an extended weekend horseback riding at Annaharvey - which was quite a treat. I was picked up at the train station and was amazed by the friendliness of everyone and the quality of the horses available for lessons. Although I am a nervous rider myself they had me up and going on cross-country jumps in no time without pressure. 100% recommedation!

Annaharvey Farm is a great place to learn horse riding. Large indoor and outdoor facility with great tutors. There is also a cafe and if staying in area they have a b&b.
