Annalakshmi Brickfields Get-Together Highlights: pure vegetarian dishes - *Ambiance*: The traditional Tamil Nadu-style architecture and vibrant artwork featuring gods and goddesses create a unique and immersive atmosphere. - *Buffet*: For approximately MYR 35 (Malaysian Ringgit), the spread includes soup, starters, dosai, and multiple other items. While the price might be slightly on the higher side, the quality of food and ambiance justify the cost. - *Food*: The buffet offers excellent taste and variety. A personal favorite w as the Sevai, which was particularly delicious. Overall Experience: A fantastic spot for gatherings, Annapurna Brickfields offers a rich cultural ambiance and delectable South Indian cuisine. The experience is well worth the visit!

Just celebrated mom's birthday by having a family meal here as she is a fan of the buffet here. Very good meal as usual! Just want to request the chef here to use less garlic in the butter paneer. Authentic keralite banana leaf on VISHU. Really enjoyed the meal.excellent service. The dessert could have been better.Around 12 keralite dishes served. Very delicious and healthy vegetarian meal. Keep it up.

Great food and do charity as well. Most of the staffs are volunteers. All income goes go finance their free medical hospital nearby. They also finance the school for cultural dance etc This place is clean, lovely, nicely decorated and staffs are so friendly. They take time to talk chat and explain the food. Very warm and loving people not to mention the amazing vegetarian food. As an ardent meat eater I thought I won't enjoy the food but I was so wrong. If everyday I can hv such amazing vegetarian food I will give up meat and save the animals from torture Highly recommended. Pls do visit and knowing the money you pay goes to helping the poor

Came here today formlunch as my wife had it in her list for a long time. The place so cozy and calm. Food choices are indian style buffet which is priced at rm35 each. We can order drinks separately. Choices are limited for the price but when I get to know they finance the dance school and hospital, I am kind of happy to be part of it. Food wise it's great and definitely a good place to come if you don't mind about the pricing.

Yelp
I had lunch here and it was amazing! Loved the vegetarian dishes on the buffet. I'm not sure if it was a special event day or if every day is like this, but it was crowded which I always take as a sign that a restaurant is good when I'm traveling to an unfamiliar place. The service was great. Really enjoyed the welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
Annalaksmi is really not a restaurant per se but for followers of the Swayamvara concept to prctice their beliefs, which involves service to the community. Professionals, including lawyers and doctors volunteer here as cooks and servers. Keeping this in mind, whenever I go, I tend to treat them with much respect for their humility. Since this place is run by volunteers, the vegetarian buffet during lunch and dinner has a very home made taste. I particularly enjoy their chutneys and raitas. Buffets used to be on a pay as much as you want but now they've set a minimum price of RM16-18 (depending on the time of day). Water is complimentary and puri is served as part of the buffet and can be ordered fresh and hot. All dishes are well labeled and the menu changes daily. Do take note that you shouldn't dress too casually here, meaning avoid overly revealing clothing or looking like you just got up from bed.

Yelp
Annalakshmi is the place to go if you're craving for good vegetarian food. Its located in the ground floor of Temple of FIne Arts (you will see it on your left a you enter the building). The lunch is a buffet concept and its charged per pax. Additional items will be charged accordingly. The food is served on stainless steel platter (talk about authentic! A++) and you could take as much as you want. Most dishes can be put into little stainless steel containers and in the end, your plate will look like a Thali Set :D The food is very tasty and worth the money as the have at least 10-15 dishes on the buffet line for less than RM15. The waiters are also very soft spoken and polite when dealing with customers. The ambience there is very different (in a good way) and makes you feel very 'Zen'. Its quite quiet and soft music plays in the background. You can have a very quiet and peaceful meal when you're there. Good food and service! I might go back there if I was craving for Vegetarian food

Yelp
Annalakshmi of the Temple of Fine Arts is a place that I would visit again and again for a cozy, pleasant environment and delectable Indian vegetarian meal in Kuala Lumpur. Every time I step into the restaurant I am greeted by the aromatic smell of Indian herbs and the warm welcoming smile from the volunteers who ushered us in. If you feel that vegetarian dishes are bland, you are up for a surprise. The Indian vegetarian dishes are cooked with different herbs, ingredients and curry recipe and every bite will delight you with a burst of rich flavour. While enjoying your meal you will always be surrounded by Indian families in their sarees or sherwanies, having chapatis and engrossed in laughter filled conversations. This homey ambient adds an extra charm to the entire dining experience and makes Annalakshmi a restaurant that will not only exceed your expectation for a great Indian vegetarian meal but also touches your heart with their hospitality and warmth.
