Awful smell of damp in the room. Visible sings of damp in bedroom and bathroom. No heating on even though it was cold. Sliding door between bedroom and bathroom, which kept coming of rails.Would not return to here. Owner friendly. Breakfast good.

Stayed here a few months back on a business trip. Where do I start with the room I stayed in (The room I stayed in was a separate cottage than the main house). Plenty of spiders in every corner of the cottage, showers barely functioning, dirty duvets (stains) and dust / hair on the floor of the bedroom. The host was friendly and made a good breakfast, but that's all I can say. There's also not much do around the area, but that is to be expected.

We have stayed here twice now and wouldn't go anywhere else when in Cavan! Clean rooms, AMAZING breakfast and so polite and friendly. Very easy to get into Cavan town from here but Butlers Bridge is also lovely with many walks and things to see. Can't wait to come back.

This was a real find! Needing a stop off night to break up a long journey, this turned out to be an unexpected mini-holiday, all thanks to Anna-Mae’s wonderful hosting and her beautiful home. This country-style house is situated close to the picturesque Annalee river and opposite a quaint village church. The Garden room was very spacious and quiet, making it the perfect spot to get a restful sleep before a long journey. The breakfast was delicious& included a traditional Irish breakfast, fresh fruit and selection of cereals. The breakfast room itself is complete will table-cloths, antique wooden furniture and lovely vases and antique jugs on display. A great find in a pretty village on the outskirts of Cavan!

We picked Annalee House for a quick, one-night stop on the road from Sligo to Dublin and were delighted to discover such a lovely B&B and kind hostess. The house, rooms and garden are beautiful. We enjoyed dinner at the nearby restaurant/pub and an evening walk around the village of Butlersbridge. Breakfast the next morning was to order and delicious. Just wish we had had time to stay at least two nights (or more) and explore the river area and other surroundings. Our thanks to Anna May for taking such good care of us.

Great place to stay. We've stayed here for many years while visiting friends and family in counties Cavan and Fermanagh. Well situated for getting around, near the main road and close to Cavan town. The host Anna May is a lovely lady very experienced in the catering trade and looks after you in every way. She knows the area well and will help you in every way possible. It's a popular place for fishing trips situated beside the river at the bridge and many lakes in the area . Excellent restaurant across the bridge on the other side called Murph's Bistro although remember at the moment it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. There's also a nice pub in the village. Would strongly recommend.

Anna May was such a lovely host. We were at a wedding at the Cavan crystal hotel and she gave us a lift to the hotel to get our car the following morning. Lovely breakfast and beautiful rooms. She even had the electric blanket on for us when we got home. Very friendly, very personal place. Would stay again
