I hiked from Carambola Resort. Nice hike. It was about 35 minutes. Saw the largest sand crabs I have ever seen. Size of small orange. The tides are beautiful. Incredible. You do need to climb on the rocks to get there due to high tide. To difficult for my 10 year old. 12 year old no problem. I highly recommend this spot. And it’s free if you hike there.

Nice natural tidal pool. Pack some shoes there are Sea urchins in the pool. It is reachable by a enjoyable 40 minutes hike starting at the nearby resort.

This is great adventure out to the tide pools. The hike is for moderately fit people, about 2 miles with some uphills, in the 80 degree heat. But the hike is definitely worth it! Parking lot is to the left of the guard station. Bring plenty of water. Start hiking up the dirt road from the parking lot. There will be a smaller foot trail with a blue arrow on the right. When you get to an opening at the dirt road turn right at the black x with another blue arrow. There is some rock scrambling into the tide pools from the rock beach. Climb out the end of the first tide pool to get to some other more remote smaller tide pools. Saw some crabs and sea urchins.

Very cool place and hike. Well worth checking out. The pools are gorgeous. Lots of sea life, multiple pools, and a beautiful hidden rock beach in a cove. Wear shoes suitable for hiking and water. Keep in mind there is a very mild climb and wall traverse on wet rock to get into the pools themselves. 2.1 mi hike up and over the ridge one way from Carambola. The trail is well marked and nearly impossible to mis-navigate at any point. Semi steep hiking at the start, then it planes out and has a gentle down slope until you reach the beach./pools. Enjoy responsibly. Tide pools are fragile ecosystems. There was a Moray eel in one of the pools, a small mix of tropical fish, cool crabs, and lots of coral. There is a jump spot if the water is deep enough in the first pool.

5.5 miles round trip. This is not casual hiking. There are lots of ups and downs, then a final scramble over rock breakers/cliffs to the pools. Really awesome pools, when you look hard, they are teaming with life. The far pool is deep enough that you have to swim. The front pool is about waist deep. Make sure to check for low tide times and plan on about an hour and 20 minutes to complete the hike in. They are not accessible during high tide. The trail is not marked well, so pay attention. For me, it was a highlight.

Fun hike to a beautiful ending! There is quite a few uphill and downhill moments in the hike that can be too strenuous for some. We took the shorter route through the nearby hotel. We started with 6 people on our hike. One quit midway and I was the only one that braved the rocky crawl around to the pools. Bring water and start the hike early. Use your smarts if you decide to climb to the tide pools and watch out for the tide/waves.

Amazing hike - there is some very minimal rock scrambling, recommend wearing sturdy sandals/running shoes. Bring a bathing suit. Hike is hilly and through forest - you are never exposed so you don’t get too hot.

A good jaunt through the hillside to get to the Tidepools. Best if not carrying much. Wear decent shoes for rocky spots near the pools and if it’s raining. Moderate trek with very rewarding pools.
