I had a disappointing experience at the checkout. There were four counters, but it was unclear where to pay. One staff member was staring at receipts, while the others looked distracted and uninterested in assisting customers — even checking their phones. It felt like they had no motivation to work, which made the payment process confusing and unpleasant.
In addition, on the second floor at the vegetable section, I saw a staff member placing their phone on the scale and staring at it with full attention, rather than focusing on customers. The overall atmosphere of the supermarket felt gloomy and unwelcoming. Instead of enjoying grocery shopping, I felt uncomfortable, as if I had to be cautious the whole time.
Unfortunately, other Annam branches I have visited show little difference. It makes me wonder: has the company completely given up on staff training? For a store of this scale and reputation, the lack of professionalism and customer care is truly disappointing.
