Anna's Café

Annas is located in a very nice street in Lüneburg, with the possibility to either sit inside or outside, we went there to have breakfast and it was very full so we had to sit outside, i liked the idea of the Menus which is basically kid's story books with the Menu taped on it, found it very interesting! We ordered two latte macchiatos and one of them was only filled halfway through, so i had to tell the waitress and she was kind enough fix the issue! The staff was very polite. Although the Café was extremely full and they did try their best to offer a good service, they still made a mistake with our food, which is no problem, i mean it happens right!? The reason why I only give three stars is because i expected a better experience overall, I mean regarding food for example, presentation wise it looks absolutely amazing, but I must say that the portions are small for the price you pay to get them, so overall it's hard for me to recommend this place ( if you want to have breakfast of course ), i might go again just to try the Cakes though ( I've heard they are good! )

The worst Breakfast I've ever had... kids portions for big Adults in a 5 star restaurant " PRICE " ...Dirty dishes and terrible service with a small brain staffs ! After 50 min waiting we left without our orderd breads !!!! NEVER AGAIN.

11 Euro breakfast in the picture 🥲 “Vegan” label makes things pricier these days. It would be better if you could add some protein source and sauce. It was not filling at all - one piece of bread, half avocado & apple, berries and seeds.

Payed 5€ for a tea. Tee is just water. Put like a tiny bit of stuff in and there you have it, tea. It was good but too expensive. WiFi didn’t work.

PROS: well located | delicious cakes | cozy atmosphere CONS: staff wasn't in their best version (maybe had a bad day?)

1) Bad service! I send my food back because it was not good and still had to pay it. I have never experienced that at a restaurant. 2) We bought cake as take away from the cafe. Unfortunately in the cake was mold (see picture).

I'm generally not a guy who goes for brunch but it was a different day I guess. When we went there the sun was shining. You can sit inside as well outside right on the bank of sweet Ilmenau. You can also glance at the Life-Bridge which is a place to sit especially in late summer days. Anyway, back to the review. My cappuccino was too small but I'm sure they serve grande too. The breakfast platter was pretty to look at, all those jams and butter, three different types of bread, eggs, three different types of cheese, some bacons. All in all I enjoyed it thoroughly. Try it.

Probably best breakfast I had so far. And you can have it all day long. The location is nice, even in winter time. With the stream right in front it has to be lovely in summer time. The building itself is beautiful. Inside there is still the old pillars visible. The place itself is made with soo much love. From menu, to furniture and porcelain.. Everything is cosy and warming like being at grandma's. 😊 For sure I will come back for the Mediterranean breakfast. Can't wait for it...
