Blois experienced an extreme heatwave while we were there. The hotel had no air conditioning, just a fan. It was three nights of little sleep and absolutely no respite from the intense heat. Other than the lack of air conditioning, our stay was fine. The room was small, but it worked just fine for us. Breakfast was a reasonable price and adequate, although the kitchen staff was slow at clearing tables and the restocking food. The location is good if you are able to walk up and down hills. The center of the city is only about a 10 min. Walk away. It would have been nice if cold beverages would have been available at the hotel or if there had been refrigerators in the rooms to keep beverages cold.

Clean basic hotel near both the station and the chateau. I wish that I had known it was so near the station and would therefore have saved myselfthe minimum taxi far of 8 euros for a 200 yd trip. Luckily we were n the ground floor because there is no lift. Breakfasts were adequate but not fancy.I would go again.

It was a fine hotel, and clean with comfy beds. However our room was the handicapped room on the first floor. It had a view of the bikes, a hedge, and the laundry carts. It was well located and quiet. I would stay here again, just not int hat room.

We stayed at this hotel overnight on our return to the Uk. The directions provided by the hotel to the free parking outside the hotel were excellent and we were able to park directly outside, which was prefect. The family room was spacious, clean and nicely presented. The bathroom was great as well. There was an air conditioning unit in the room which was very helpful as it was extremely hot when we stayed. ||The lady on reception was very pleasant when we checked in, as was the lady who seated us at breakfast the following morning. The breakfast selection was excellent, a range of pastries, cereals, and all sorts of other things, plus unlimited fresh juice and coffee. ||The hotel is in a great location, a very short walk into the centre, so quiet in the evening but within easy walking distance of the castle etc. ||After leaving, I realised I’d left one of my wireless headphones but thought nothing more of it as assumed it would end up in the laundry! The hotel very kindly emailed me to let me know they’d found it and they even posted it back to me in the UK! I was delighted as they were new! So kind. ||I would highly recommend this hotel, for location, excellent value, very clean and well presented and lovely staff. Would stay again any time we’re in the area.

Well located within walking distance of the main sites and several restaurants and shops. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up multiple flights of narrow stairs (my room was three levels above ground). My room had no A/C and no window screens; there was a tower fan, but the room was so tiny that it was hard to find a place to put it. Comfortable bed and pillows. Only one unoccupied power outlet (on the side of the bed facing the wall). No electric kettle. Small desk area with lamp.|Bathroom with everything in working order, tiny shower cabin, good water pressure.|Wifi worked well.|Breakfast with limited selection.

This would easily be a 4-star hotel if they had an elevator and air conditioning for those hot summer nights. The staff is incredibly friendly, and honestly where in France can an American find bacon and eggs for breakfast?!? Also the best pillows and mattress I have slept on in ALL of France so far!

A lovely, well priced hotel close to the station with a larger than average room for a family of three. The town is relatively small, so it's no more than ten minutes with a distracted 7 year old on foot to where the bulk of the restaurants are. The front desk speak both English and French, and are happy to help out and store bikes for you if you chose to hire any during your visit..
