How Odsherred Became Denmark’s Next Great Food Destination | Condé Nast Traveler
"Turning down a majestic avenue of century-old poplars, I arrived at Anneberg Kulturpark, where red-brick buildings with crawling vines that once housed a mental asylum for 1,000 patients and an equal number of staff have been transformed by a private investor into a lively hub for food, art, and culinary entrepreneurs; on site I saw carpentry and other workshops crafting the floors, intricately ornamented ceilings, and furniture used throughout the complex, and the site now houses several food ventures right across from one another." - Lars Roest-Madsen
This is such a nice destination - 30 artists, 3 restaurants with varying price levels and a wonderful park surrounding the whole package. Go, visit, what's not to like 🙂

Really great place for a family outing. The old houses have both food startups and small artisan workshops, and during school holidays, the place is filled with both indoor and outdoor activities.

It's the time of year when Christmas shopping provides an excuse for visiting art and culture markets and exhibitions. This year, having moved to Nykobing Sj in August is was Anneberg Kulturpark we visited, and we were not disappointed.
Ceramics, paintings, drawings, textiles and jewelry, not to mention microbrewery and seaweed enterprise provided plenty of choice to suit must pockets.
