We stayed here for one night. The location is pretty good, close to the University of Toronto and tons of restaurants. We especially liked the style of this place, simple but with a lot of personality. Definitely a place to stay for yoga enthusiasts :) A downside was the breakfast, we were offered only granola bars that had milk in it. Also, AC in our room was very noisy, we had to turn it of in night.

I enjoyed my stay in Annex Quest House last Sept-October. If you are a solo traveler, it is a nice place to crash on especially when all you need is a place to sleep. It is clean, comfortable and helpful staff. But the room is lack of natural light so sometimes you have to turn on the light during the day. Other than that, it is located in a great location with the access to Spadina TTC station and has everything bank, coffeeshop, pharmacy and supermarket, ||||Otherwise.... I wouldn't complain anything about it! I am here right now for my second stay (June)

We stayed there for 2 days, it was a very nice, clean place to stay in a neighborhood that is located in a perfect place to do a nice long walking tour of Chinatown, Koreatown, as well as the central downtown area. ||||In particular they were incredibly helpful when I mistakenly entered the wrong dates when making my reservations and we showed up a day earlier than they expected us! They were very kind about it and quickly prepared a room that a previous guest had late check-out and they hadn't planned on cleaning until the next day. ||||Next time we visit Toronto for the weekend we'll be sure to stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Annex Quest. Room was spotless and quiet. Location was perfect, near transit and Downtown. Staff were extremely helpful. Would recommend for short stays in Toronto. Only complaint: bed was a bit hard.

This is a very basic place, but better. Convenient, and subway beside. Noisy city street, but not too bothersome. Limited parking in the rear for a fee. Small room, double bed, very comfortable, private small bath, good hot water. Microwave, small fridge and coffee maker in the room. Small spot of packaged snacks as you enter the place, but when I came in after dinner a guest was taking all of them! Safe, clean and comfortable. I would come back. University right there, and tourist spots an easy walk. Nice neighbourhood to walk around and many restaurants close by.

This is a simple, humble accommodation, not glamorous, but funky with Indian decor, including hammered copper sinks in bathrooms. Each room is decorated with an element in mind (water, fire, etc...). The location is outstanding, right by subway, and a brief walk to the R.O.M., U of T, OISE, Bata Shoe Museum, etc. with 'Fresh vegetarian restaurant' only a block or two away, making a perfect match. ||Just remember: there isn't a person at their front desk all hours, so, if you want to check in or inquire in person, it is easiest to arrange this during their regular working hours, currently 9:30-4:30 . FYI: the Annex may not be ideal for the light sleeper, as there are creeky floors, and a loud-ish street, though I did not find this a problem (stayed twice, 4 days each time), and would happily return. Price is right for the location!

We stayed for 2 months in Annex Guest House. The place reminded my university room, clean, TV, coffee maker, AC, microwave, all cleverly packed. A place to stay and sleep, not for dancing. Ideal for budget travelers.
