This is a simple, humble accommodation, not glamorous, but funky with Indian decor, including hammered copper sinks in bathrooms. Each room is decorated with an element in mind (water, fire, etc...). The location is outstanding, right by subway, and a brief walk to the R.O.M., U of T, OISE, Bata Shoe Museum, etc. with 'Fresh vegetarian restaurant' only a block or two away, making a perfect match. ||Just remember: there isn't a person at their front desk all hours, so, if you want to check in or inquire in person, it is easiest to arrange this during their regular working hours, currently 9:30-4:30 . FYI: the Annex may not be ideal for the light sleeper, as there are creeky floors, and a loud-ish street, though I did not find this a problem (stayed twice, 4 days each time), and would happily return. Price is right for the location!
