Ann’s Flower Shop on Wilshire is a little oasis in the middle of Santa Monica. The shop is always full of fresh, beautiful arrangements that somehow manage to look even better in person than in the photos. It feels a bit like a VIP lounge for flowers — perfect stems waiting to go home with you. I went in for “something small” and left with a bouquet so big it practically needed its own chair. Today I stopped by Ann’s Flowers to get an arrangement for a funeral service. I don’t know much about flowers, so I trusted their recommendation. They suggested lilies and roses in a vase and put the arrangement together in the back. I was genuinely impressed by how beautiful and tasteful the final result was. The arrangement was elegant, well-balanced, and very appropriate for the occasion. Their pricing was also very reasonable for the quality and care they put into their work. I’ve tried other flower shops before, but none come close to Ann’s Flowers in terms of presentation and overall quality. Highly recommend.

This review is a bit late, well, two months late. I was lucky because the hospital florist was closed for some holiday, so I looked at yelp for reviews and found Ann's Flowers was open and delivering. I talked with the florist and the bouquet they sent exceeded my wildest expectations -- absolutely beautiful, a fresh and creative arrangement. I am not good at uploading photos, but I will try to get someone to help me do that later. I did call the nurses station to confirm that the flowers had arrived, and the nurses, who see bouquets all the time as part of their job, remembered these flowers and immediately knew that they had been delivered and volunteered that the flowers were "gorgeous."

Sometimes ya just need flowers the same day, so I used yelped and went over to Ann's. I was greeted by a dapper gentleman named Abe. He cleared off a little space for me to write a card, and I described in the vaguest terms what I wanted. (Which is not like me, I usually come with mood boards and color samples). To make things more challenging I had brought in a specific vase I wanted to use. It's big, chunky and fragile. I'm sure a lot of places would have been reluctant to manage the responsibility of this hunk of crystal. Also it was a bit of an odd size. Anyway, Abe gave me lots of time to write my card with a chair. We discussed the intention of floral arrangement. We agreed on a price which wasn't cheap, but neither was what I wanted. This is a fancy boutique place and the cost was in Keeping with that. I also requested if he could please text me a photo of the final arrangement, which you can see here. Y'all... look at this! Absolute perfection! Very glamorous and he had it over to its recipient within a few hours. It exceeds my expectations. Otherwise, the shop of course smells amazing. The case is filled with a great selection of beautiful blooms. And the lovely lady who works there was very kind to me, as well. She found some paper so I could write out a draft of my card. This is for sure my new place to get flowers! 10/10!

I live far away & called Ann's for an arrangement to go to UCLA. I explained that it was a male , to please use flowers accordingly. It was delivered as ordered & the arrangement was beautiful.

Was looking for same day delivery to Santa Monica and came across Ann's on Yelp. I was pleased with the quick turnaround with delivery only a few hours later. I asked for designer's choice with yellow as the main color and it came out nicely. After tax and the $5 delivery fee (cheap fee especially for same day delivery!) I paid $77 for this. I definitely would order from them again.

Ordered from Ann's flowers when a friend's father passed away unexpectedly. Their service and selection was amazing. I ordered online and was able to call them to confirm that they received the order. They also kept me in the loop with respect to delivery time and when and where the driver was, I received a photo from the recipient and the bouquet was beautiful. Highly recommend flowers if you were looking for a local florist as opposed to using, 800 flowers or a different online alternative.

Placed late-night online order from Texas for flowers to be delivered to my California cousin the following day after a surgery. Online ordering process was simple. Happily, the arrangement was delivered as ordered on time and with exactly what I requested written on the card. And the arrangement was spectacular! Looked exactly like the online photo. A real attention- getter with Birds of Paradise and other beautiful flowers. I had a last minute order and called in the morning when they opened to order a same day delivery. I saw online that they delivered locally in Santa Monica for free and asked about it. Even though they said it was their old policy from years ago and they no longer do it, they still offered it to me for this one time. I asked for a peony bouquet and since it was nearing the end of peony season (I ordered on July 1) they let me know there weren't too many nice peonies. They gave me a discount since they weren't happy with their peony quality but the arrangement still turned out great because they added different flowers that matched the vibes I was looking for. I asked them to let me know when they were going to be delivering, and they sent me a photo when they finished and a text when the driver headed out. Communication and presentation both 10/10, I would recommend this florist!

Abe at Ann's Flowers in Santa Monica helped us with a bridal shower we hosted. All I had were 18 small white vases, and the colors the Bride loved. Abe created the most gorgeous arrangements that we scattered around the tables and everyone took one home as a party favor. The Dahlias, delphinium, lisianthus, ranunculus; all were stunning and every single one was lovely.

I wanted to have flowers delivered to a friend in Brentwood, and saw that this place was well-liked on Yelp, so I called them and said I wanted to spend $60 (before tax and delivery) on an arrangement of seasonal flowers, and asked him to send me a picture of them, just so I could see them. They're gorgeous, and I always appreciate when a florist can work within my budget to create something beautiful. Next time I need flowers on the west side, I will definitely be ordering from here!

I cannot say enough nice things about Ann's Flowers. I am on the east coast and use them every year to send flowers to my daughter in LA for her birthday. Every arrangement has exceeded my expectations and my daughter is always thrilled. The flowers are always so fresh and last a long time. Just this week they created a beautiful bridal bouquet, boutonniere, and wedding cake flowers for my daughter's very small wedding. They also created a magnificent table centerpiece of white roses, white lilies, and pale blue hydrangea to match the bouquet. They were delivered on time and to the locations requested. I worked with Abe via email and phone to finalize the arrangements, and he interpreted my requests beautifully. My favorite flower shop in Santa Monica! I needed non traditional flowers and the florist was so helpful in handpicking variations for me, I was grateful for his help. He was even kind enough to let me keep the flowers there until I could pick them up later so they wouldn't wilt in the car. Beautiful flowers!

I told them about the delicate situation and instead they suggested to make a custom arrangement with their newly arrived flowers and within my price range.
