Stay away. Once they get your money, they don't want to know you. They don't return phone calls. I was told my annuity would never loose money. Well it did. So we called the insurance company because Annuity Advantage didn't believe me. The insurance company said I lost money. I have had problems with the insurance company that Annuity Advantage set me up with. I have waited for phone calls that never came from Annuity Advantage when they said they'd call me tomorrow when I needed help. I have needed their help twice this whole year. Today I called and I heard the person that is handling my account say, tell him I gone for the day. So the secretary lied to me and said he was gone, when I told here I heard what he said, she said." Well I can transfer you to his voice mail."
I am now going to reply to the Annuity Advantage owner's typed reply underneath this one: The actual owner of the annuity was my wife from 401k and it was marital property. I was the one that selected Annuity Advantage and help set it up. When me and my wife had a amical friendly divorce due to geographical locations, she insisted I take this Annuity due to she did not want to deal any further with Annuity Advantage. Instead she elected to stay with a different Annuity company. Annuity Advantages unreturned phone calls or refusing to take phone calls from a client is not a misunderstanding, it is mean. Last week the Annuity company sent me a check for $29,000 . That's nice but it was suppose to be $3500, Thus I voided it. I was suppose to get the $3500 today, I didn't get it. I called the annuity company and they now could not do the deposit/check as somebody had transcribed my S.S. wrong within their company originally. So they sent me the $29000, under somebody else's social security number. It would have been nice if I even had an adviser to talk to.
