Small, free, and friendly. I go with my young children at least once a month, and they enjoy exploring the space. I enjoy the exhibits and quietness

Staff was able to assist me with looking for one specific Federal Monark issue. We enjoyed the displays and my daughter had fun looking at the collections. We have done several ghost tours and are looking forward to another in a few weeks!

I went on the ghost tour last night with sara as our tour guide. It was SO MUCH FUN. Sara made it so incredible. Her passion and knowledge for the city and its history was unmatched, plus shes so friendly and humorous. Highly recommend checking the tour out! Well worth the money, and also made me interested to check out the actual history building and learn more about the history of anoka.

Great museum of local history in this county that sits on the border between urban and rural in the northern Twin Cities metro. Professional staff and a decent research facility, with great volunteers. (Disclosure: I am on the Society's board of directors.)

A group of friends can here to go on their ghost walking tour in October 2019. I found it interesting as I like this sort of thing and halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I espically liked the last location we went to as I use to go there for hours with co-workers. To boot I heard the Halloween and I was like am I hearing things. Then Michael Meyers appears. As we were walking back to our cars he followed us. Really fun night.

Great place to visit to get the history of the area, or ask about the history of your home in the area. They also have walking tours in the fall, and I have heard they are going to have some this summer.
