Absolutely mind-blowing beach. One of my favourites in La Digue. Not very easy to reach, be prepared to sweat a lot. Bring water and put your shoes on. You can bike to Grande Anse, then you will take the trail to Petite Anse (10/15 minutes in the jungle) and then it’s another 15/20 minutes to reach Anse Cocos. It’s worth it. There’s also a bar that serves fresh fruit, grilled fish, coconuts. I’d recommend to leave the beach around 16.30/17 so you still have enough light on the way back.

It takes a bit to get here (bike ride to Grand Anse , hike past Petite Anse, then about another 20 minute hike). It's deserted as hell. There is a pretty strong rip, so if you're not a strong swimmer stay out of the water until you go past the rocks to the natural wading pool.

Amazing spot to stay at the beach and to go into the water, after a 30 mins walk in the jungle, from the Grand Anse.

Stunning beach with dramatic waves. Little shade early on, but a gorgeous pool at the end of the beach with very safe swimming and amazing fish for snorkeling, and a few shady spots. Well worth the effort of the short hike from Grand Anse, well trodden and easy to follow.

Top place in La Digue. Nice hike from Grand Anse to Caiman Anse via Petite and Cocos Anse.

Wonderful place! Do not miss the natural pool on the northern part of the beach behind the rocks.
