"The terrificAnse Maminbeach iswalking distancefrom Anse ChastanetandJade Mountain resorts. The beach is rarely crowded, and the calm turquoise waters and towering palm trees are hard to resist. Take refuge under a thatched seating area withloungers (for a fee), and splurge on lunch at the pricey beach bar, which offerstasty burgers, salads, and cocktails. Or just throw down your towel and enjoy the scenery, swimming, and snorkeling for a no-frills afternoon."

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Great beach to relax on, never too busy. Superb amenities with clean toilets, showers and a great bar and grill with excellent staff serving. The road there is ROUGH so travel cautiously. You'll be glad you did!

Nice quiet beach A five minute walk from Anse Chastenet. 4 spotless public bathrooms and 2 showers. Nice snorkelling about 20 yards to the right of the 2 giant rocks and about 100 yards offshore.

Very nice peaceful beach, comfortable, great service and amazing view. Not so much people and very calm. Perfect for relaxing.

We stayed in Soufriere and were dropped off by our driver at Anse Chastenet (it is walkable if you like long walks up the hill with a windy road). We then walked the length of the beach, under the cliffs until we ended up at the very end - with a paradise like beach in front of us. The beach has resort loungers which are very expensive to rent for a day, but the sand is perfectly fine. The beach itself was very quiet on the day as we had showers, but they only added to the atmosphere. The sunset was stunning. There's a food outlet on the beach serving burgers made to order and fresh seafood.

*VERY IMPORTANT* The road to get there is long and absolutely sucks. You must have a good car with proper suspension to make it there. It's probably the best beach on the island. Very few people and very quiet, so you get the full beach experience of sand, sun, waves crashing and ocean breeze. Beach chairs are owned by the resort, which costs $65 per chair if you want to rent them (despite them being mostly unused). Nearby bar/restaurant for drinks and burgers are available to non-resort guests. You pretty much get what's on the menu though, so if you're picky about what you want, it will be messed up.

One of the nicest beaches in St. Lucia. Tucked away, so very quiet, but only about 10 or less walking from a car park. Also there is a really nice restaurant called Anse Chastanet. So after a good swim you can dine in this nice restaurant.

One of the most private and beautiful public beaches I’ve ever been to! Definitely worth the long walk and even a long swim! Bonus, the burger place is awesome as well! Although a little bit overpriced.

Our favorite beach in the area. Had it all to ourselves! Park in visitor parking at Ans Chastanet, follow signs to beach access into the resort, head to the right and find the stairs to Anse Mamin beach, it is overall about a half mile walk from the parking lot to the beach. You can rent chairs and there is a hut to purchase food and drinks even if you are not staying at the resort. We had a few towels and had packed a cooler, so we just enjoyed the beach! Highly recommended.
