Didn't have any food, so can't comment on that aspect. Service and Atmosphere wise, loved it! Attracted to this place cos of the all local tap list. All 3 breweries' beers I tried were stellar for their style. Personally, the thing that does it for me in a bar (in my unqualified opinion) is the connection patrons have with the staff. Walking in as a first-time tourist patron, I was greeted kindly. There was a young local couple and someone who looked like a fellow lone tourist already sitting at the bar. Shortly after, another lone local looking patron came and sat at the bar as well. This gentleman took out what looked like an intentionally brought folder of stickers and purposefully sifted through them and selected some to stick on the wooden bar pillars while also passing some over to the bar man to stick onto a farther bar pillar. The young local couple looked like they were also having a good time connecting with each other and also the bar man. The other lone tourist looked like he came for the local beer list too and seemed happy as well. The single bar man on shift worked operations like a boss and didn't miss me out when my glass got empty. Will be back again if my tight schedule allows, and I would recommend this place to those looking for a sincere local craft beer serving taproom. Cheers!

I visited this place on Friday night and they had a seat available at the bar. Some of the beers were sold out, but they still had many craft beers to choose from. They change the taps every day. The price for one glass of craft beer was reasonable. There weren't many food options available, mostly snacks

Been coming here for 14 years. They always have a great selection of Japanese Craft Beers and some nosh if you get hungry. Temperature is always pleasant and the wifi is solid. A great hang.

Google
Interesting Craft Beer place in the ropponggi neighbourhood! It’s underground and serve a wide selection of Craft beer with essence of Japan! I especially like the Yuzu beer! Something really refreshing! Their staut were well done as well! Their bar food was great pairing as well! Would recommend anyone to check out when around roppongi

Google
12 Japanese craft beers on tap that rotate almost nightly. It’s a tiny little bar in the basement level which has been featured in some beer documentaries worth checking out. Okay for groups up to four without getting too uncomfortable. They have food like chicken wings but we didn’t try. Live tap menu can be found on Untappd. Recommend hitting up once you get off the train before bar hopping to Brewdogs and Two Dogs.

This was my favorite evening hangout during this trip to Tokyo. The beers are terrific and the beer sommelier was knowledgeable and fluent in English. I always wish my foreign languages were better, but I’ve never gotten past pleasantries in any other language besides English. We had a great time and they now have a Filipino 100 peso note hanging in the bar signed by us.

Review updated on 4/20. No smoking, no flyer smell then it deserves 4 star s. Nice place for a short stay

Google
Cute little place with mostly American options. Small selection but multiple types of alcohol; beers, wine, ciders and sours.

Yelp
Used Yelp and Untapped apps to find craft beers in Roppongi. This place was hard to find but a nice guy at the flower shop directed us here. Good Japanese craft beer selection. They have a good menu but that's not why I'm here. It is beer time baby!!

Yelp
What a fantastic Yelp find! Great list of Japanese Craft beers and, despite being in Roppongi it has a good small bar feel with a diverse crowd of locals and foreigners alike. We tried the house made jerky and it's definitely recommend. Meaty, flame grilled and overall delightful. Deep fried olives were a surprisingly tasty bar treat too.

Yelp
A hidden gem! This place reminded us of our favorite bar in our home town. Great drink choices, nice environment. Nothing fancy in terms of the ambiance but that is why we loved it! English menu available and English speaking staff. It may be small in size but we felt right at home here. They have a food menu but we didn't eat there. Definitely worth stopping by for a beer or two! They have small pours available so you can try multiple things.

Yelp
In between Tokyo site seeing on our recent trip I tried to visit as many craft beer bars as possible. One that appeared on Yelp searches in Roppogni was this place. Cool name and seemed to have some decent reviews so we made a "bee" line to it! The place is not huge and like most Tokyo venues it's smokey. Thankfully though it was not bad when I was in. This place has cool branding with the whole ant and bee thing going on and I quite liked it. If your in the area and your a craft beer fan or just looking for a decent pub, this is definitely somewhere you should check out, plenty of IPAs, foreign and Japanese, friendly staff and a nice place for a pint or two. The only downside is the area as its in perhaps the only shady area in Tokyo. (Well that I visited) Just watch out for the ants and bees..... Not really.... Well not that I saw.

Yelp
I was with some friends doing a daytime craft beer crawl in Roppongi. We decided to beat the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet before all the loud music, street people and drunks come out. Ant N' Bee was my favorite of the four craft beer stops. Excellent! I like the small bar environment. No loud & lame music playing. Seats 10 at the bar and several tables at separate section. We sat at the bar. In view of 20 taps and the kitchen. Service- Tako & Take, were really nice, spoke excellent English, able to point us to the beers of our preference. Watched Tako make mayonnaise and tartar sauce from scratch. Was also glad to see them make their onions rings fresh and not from a bag. The beer was great. Out of the 20 Japanese Craft Beers on tap I had the Mojiko Dunkel Weizen Bock. I consider this a dessert beer. The others went for IPAs. Went well with the fried potatoes and squid appetizers. Side note: More businesses here are learning about Yelp. Love it! Use the 10% discount on food when you check in.

Yelp
Ant 'n Bee is one of the best places in Tokyo to try domestic craft beers. With over 20 taps devoted only to Japanese beers, you are sure to find a style to your liking. Ant 'n Bee is located just a couple minutes walk from Roppongi crossing. It's in the B1, so look for the sign outside and proceed down the steps. There is a bar in front that seats 10 and tables in a room to the left with space for 20+ people. The beers are divided into the following categories: real ales, weizens, lagers, fruit beers, ales, smoked beers, Belgians, hybrids, and blacks. The menu lists the alcohol percentage and IBU value for each beer. Another nice feature is that the beers are available in 4 sizes - from small to extra large. The pricing is as follows: small: ¥700 regular: ¥900 large: ¥1200 x-large: ¥2400 The food is fairly standard, but above average for bar food. The chicken wings in particular were quite tasty and the prices are reasonable. If you like Japanese craft beers, Ant 'n Bee is a great choice.

Yelp
They had the cheapest and best selection of craft beer that I could find in the Roppongi area. Unfortunately I wasn't hungry so I didn't try the food, but it looked really good.

Yelp
What a great place!! I wish it was close to home but I'll just have to come back to Tokyo. Good Japanese craft beers on tap, knowledgeable friendly staff. Good food. In the two nights I went this week there were a lot of tourists but not only tourists. French jazz plays, it's warm and cozy, and feels like a local pub with international regulars.

Yelp
This bar is located in the basement, so keep an eye out for the chalkboard sign out on the sidewalk to find the place. The bar is really small, but the bartenders are English friendly and really high energy, so overall a good atmosphere. They had about 15 to 20 Japanese craft beers on tap, the three I tried were good. The IPA was particularly good. The bar was a little smokey, as the lady next to me was smoking, but what can you do? Bar food looked pretty legit, though I didn't get a chance to try anything.

Yelp
My friend who lives in Tokyo knows how much I love craft beer. Him and his friend brought me here one night during my layover and I can't wait to go back. Tokyo is a city famous for their bar scene but craft beer spots are still emerging. Ant 'n Bee's selection of domestic craft beer is excellent. You won't find your Asahi Super Dry here. Not that there's anything wrong with Asahi mind you. There's a good variety for every taste, from beginners to craft beer aficionados. I tried a selection of ipa's, barley wines, and stouts, which is not the usual selection in bars. What's also great is that they have wifi! It may not seem like a big deal but it's actually quite hard to get a connection in this city. Who needs wifi when data is pretty much unlimited (for locals)? So I was able to happily check in my beers (on my beer app) real time. Oh! And now I can check in on Yelp!

Yelp
Went during Halloween week and boy do the staff get dressed up in the spirit. It is a basement bar with attentive servers and bartenders. There is great nitro and pump beer selection. Service and orders came quick. Felt very welcome here. Located near the underground and the Hardrockcafe. Good air conditioning/ventilation. Overall comfortable and serious beer enjoyment here. They speak English here, too. Woohoo!! Aloha!!

Yelp
Great beer selection and some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. You just have to fight your way through all of the strip club promoters on the walk over. It's on the basement level and there's a small sign so keep your eyes peeled. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the Roppongi area.

Yelp
Super cute and awesome craft beer bar - have to walk downstairs off the street and they serve a great selection of ALL Japanese made brews. Much better than Sapporo, Kirin, Asahi (fans of those beers will have their minds blown trying out craft Japanese - like with all things made in Japan the thought, quality, attention to detail cannot be surpassed). Ant n Bee was featured on a Craft Beer in Japan documentary too. Skip the overcrowded bars in Roppongi and go to Ant n Bee!!

Yelp
This a small little cozy place that have a very friendly staff that speaks good English. The beer selection is very diverse and prices are comparable for the area bars. The food is quite good. The chicken wings and onion rings are excellent. Best wings I have had in Tokyo in 2 years. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
The spot! Great underground craft brew pub. Had a beer drinkers guide to Colorado so that gets points immediately. Beers great, bartender hustling around. Nice place to take a break in late afternoon. They don't open until 5pm.

Yelp
Totally great bar with food and friendly hosts! Like most bars we found, you can smoke in here, but the HVAC kept it smelling clean. Lots of beer choices and great food, no complaints!

Yelp
Couldn't have stumbled upon a better place had we planned this on Yelp [meta review] great beer, personable service, late opening.

Yelp
My first love as far as the Tokyo craft beer scene is concerned. Consistently good selection of beers. The staff is super nice! The seating can be cramped. Haven't tried the food (because beer).

Alex A.

Yelp
A nice pub in Roppongi, welcoming to foreigners. They had a nice selection of Japanese craft beers.

Yelp
Really liked this place. Simple concept and the bar makes you feel like you're a local in Tokyo even if you've been here 5 mins.

Yelp
Not sure what you could say bad about this place. Here on a Sunday night - American traveling for work. I have been in Asia for over a week with one more to go - a night to relax - and this place is perfect. Bar Food is classic - just a bit healthier - the beer is good and the staff is incredible - cannot recommend it anymore - it is small - but not sure that is a bad thing at all!

Yelp
Cool (tiny) beer and snack bar in the basement, set away from the hustle of the Roppongi streets above. Come here to check out some obscure craft beers local to Japan.
