My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April when attending a good friend's wedding. We arrived totally overwhelmed (due to bus cancellations elsewhere) and under prepared (having forgotten to pack EU plugs and toothbrushes). The lady at reception could not have been more helpful and provided us with everything we needed, incl a last minute taxi booking. We stayed on a room-only basis, but the room was clean, extremely comfortable and had everything required for a night's stay. Staff here absolutely exceptional and I'd happily stay here again when visiting Trier!

Extremely disappointed Booked a comfort room for my family. There is no comfort in the traffic noise and exhaust gas from the cars passing just below the window. All of that while it's 30 degrees in the room and there is no cooling option other than opening the windows. Upon booking I was asked for the children's age (1 year) and still they considered this room is fine. I don't understand who makes these decisions.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was really kind. Breakfast was good and on my request they even provided me toast which they specially went to buy. I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice hotel in a great location, close to the Porta Nigra and city centre just a few minutes walk away.|It was easy to find and parking was easy to get in to. Plenty of parking spaces as well.|We received a warm welcome and were able to check in right away.|Our room was overlooking the main road which was noisy with the windows open. It was also very hot when we stayed here but sadly there was no air con. There was a fan in the room but it was that hot, the fan didn’t make much difference. |The room was large and clean, same with the bathroom.|The bed was comfy but the pillow was a bit soft and I normally sleep on 3 pillows so I rolled my duvet up and put it under the pillow. I didn’t need the duvet due to the heat so why not, it worked and I got a good nights sleep. |The shower was lovely with great water pressure.|Breakfast was very good with everything you needed and the staff kept everything topped up.|I was sorry we didn’t stay here longer but we have said we will go back when we can spend a couple of days there to explore the area more. Hopefully it won’t be as hot next time.|I did find Woolworths in the city centre and couldn’t resist shopping in there which meant we then had to walk back to the hotel with all the shopping I purchased. |The cathedral was a lovely place to visit as well.|There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the city centre to choose from. They had a big music festival on in the centre but we was leaving the day it started sadly and missed it.|So overall a great place to stay.

This is a 'way above average' hotel. Why? The staff is very friendly and flexible, the rooms are clean, the beds are excellent and large, and there is a private parking that's fully surveyed by camera's. On top of that: the beautiful city center of Trier is very close, and if you need basic stuff there are 2 supermarkets, and a bakery close by. We only spent 2 days here but would come back to this hotel. Last but but.nkt least: excellent breakfast.|The rooms are accessible by an elevator.

Really helpful and pleasant staff at reception and made us feel welcome. Room was a good size, really nice modern room and bathroom, everything in good condition with good storage for a few days stay. Shower was good. Bed was one of the new style foam and very comfortable and after the terribly hard bed we had in a hotel the previous night, was very much appreciated. Only had one pillow each and could have done with two, I am sure we could have got extra if we had asked but the staff leave site around 11pm and we were back later than that. We did not have breakfast as they were working on timed slots because of the size of the breakfast room and the only slot left was 7.30-8.30 which was too early for us (so tip, request your breakfast slot when booking the hotel). We knew there was a bakery a couple of doors down which also had a coffee machine, bought these and ate in our room, we had 2 chairs and a table area. The breakfast however looked good and only an extra 9euro. They had their own parking in a secure area for 9 euro but not sure if it would be sufficient for everyone arriving in a car. The hotel is about 5-10 min walk directly to the centre of town and felt quite safe. Trier is a great place to spend a day and evening. We found the hotel very quiet only the sounds of the city! Would stay again.

Very friendly host. Perfect hotel in the centre of Trier. 10 minute walk from the black "port". Very nice family room with balcony, breakfast was more then perfect. Closed off private parking for 10 euro a night. No complains, 5 stars wel earned.

Yelp
This place was a fantastic stay for our family. It has parking that can fit a large American SUV, though getting to the lot can be a tight squeeze. It's also right down the road, no more than a 10 minute walk from La Porta Nigre. We stayed in a family room which is essentially two rooms in one. The elevator doesn't go to the third or fourth floors, so be prepared to hike if your room is on those floors. We're definitely staying again when in town.

Yelp
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay here. We knew we'd be exhausted from a long flight from St. Louis (via Toronto), so I contacted the hotel ahead of time to see if we could check in early. They said they couldn't guarantee it, but they would try. When we arrived 3.5 hours early, we were pleasantly surprised to see our room ready. Katherine at reception was lovely and our room was spacious and clean. It's a little bit outside of the city center (definitely walkable though) and they have a private lot in the back for parking (8 euro a night). The walls are a little thin, so we could hear the maid cleaning the room next door--in all fairness we were super-jetlagged and didn't wake up until after 10, so it's not like they started cleaning unreasonably early. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in Trier/middle Mosel.
