Awesome place for unique blends and high quality spices. From pepper to garlic over salt and thyme, rosemary, cumin and many, many more of choices for a reasonable price. All super fresh, consistent in quality. The best thing is for most of the blends you can smell them before buying. Not to mention that Anthony is a great guy and happy to share his recipes. Not the first time I bought here and certainly not the last. You also can order online.

If you’re running out of ideas for Singapore souvenirs, this place is worth a visit. Located on the third floor of the Chinatown Complex Food Court, it might seem a bit chaotic and tricky to find at first, but don’t be discouraged—just keep going, and you’ll eventually discover it. Though small, the shop is clean and neatly packed with a wide variety of spices and teas, all beautifully displayed. The prices are reasonable, and everything is organic, making it a great option for those with allergies or dietary concerns. I ended up purchasing curry, chai, bak kut teh seasoning, and some salt—all of which looked fantastic. The friendly uncle running the store is more than happy to chat and share his knowledge, adding a personal touch to the shopping experience. If you’re tired of the usual touristy souvenirs, I highly recommend checking this place out. You’re bound to find something special that will delight your friends and family.

Located right in front of the MRT station Maxwell, exit N°3, it’s so easy to access. You will find all the spices blends from Singapore and much more. Mr Anthony is truly dedicated to his passion and creates amazing blends. I came here because a friend of mine from Indonesia asked me to get his famous 5 Spices blend and yes it’s absolutely fragrant ! Don’t hesitate to ask Mr Anthony to help you to select the spices you’re looking for, he will be so happy to explain and to talk about authentic mixed blends or his own creations. You can also order online via his website. Very recommended for spices lovers and Chefs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love Anthony’s spices. But he’s moved to the peoples park food center on the 3rd floor. Still amazing flavors. I love his Singapura curry, Green Szechwan pepper, and satay. So good.

(Update 2024) Note that Anthony's has moved to People's Park Complex and is now near the Chinatown MRT station. Not Maxwell MRT any longer. Still the same solid flavors and wonderful spices. Anthony is a gem! (From 2018) Excellent old school spice maker. Anthony has been doing this the traditional way and upholding a tradition that goes back years in Straits Chinese cooking. He selects his raw ingredients carefully before mixing each small batch. Reminds me of how grandma used to do years and years ago. Glad to see he has moved to new premises which will enable him to serve a wider clientele. The Laksa, Rendang and curry mixes are tops!

Third floor of the Food Court. #03-1120. Quite hidden and not easy to find. I bought some Laksa and other spices - very friendly service. Prices are ok I would say (I‘m not an expert but wanted to avoid bad quality which you probably get everywhere so I was looking for good quality and got recommended this shop).
