I ordered the $18 açaí bowl and was disappointed with the experience. It arrived too frozen to eat, and when they warmed it up in the microwave, they didn’t remove the fruit—so I ended up with warm strawberries on my bowl. For the price, I was expecting a much larger portion, though I suppose I should’ve expected that in Montauk. The server was decent, but never came by to refill our water, which is a personal pet peeve since I drink a lot during meals. On the positive side, the atmosphere was lovely—clean, bright, and clearly recently renovated.

Google
Great breakfast place for traditional eggs, bacon, and pancakes fare. Family run. Lots of seating inside and outside. Popular place. Had coffee on the table immediately. They do charge for using a credit card... but many, many restaurants and stores are doing the same, so it is not unusual anymore.. and in reality, most of us get some perks from our credit card company. They are very upfront about it, so no surprise, and they do have an ATM if you prefer that.

Google
Service was slow, egg platters don’t come with home fries, but price was decent. Orange juice is fresh. Bring cash for tip (not allowed to be charged to card).

Google
I had the S'Mores French Toast and my wife got two eggs with bacon and home fries. Everything was delicious and the place is really clean and nicely decorated.

Great places to eat. Friendly staff . Food is great

Google
Ate here 2 days in a row- the house veggie omelet was amazing and HUGE! They also serve gluten free waffles. Hot and ice coffee pretty good too.

My experience at the pancake house was a bit mixed. While the menu had a variety of options, I was disappointed by the slow service that seemed to affect the overall enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, I found the prices to be on the higher side for what was offered. Despite these drawbacks, the pancakes themselves were quite tasty, which somewhat balanced out the experience.

Google
Loved the food here but absolutely furious that they wouldn’t allow my friend (a vegetarian) to replace the meat in the pancakes combo with homefries or fruit. They then even put the meat on the same plate when she told them that!! Potatoes are cheaper than meat, no? Not sure why this was an issue and we had to pay for a separate plate of home fries. Very unaccommodating

Yelp
Anthony's Pancake House, in the heart of Montauk's town center, was such a great spot for a lazy brunch on a rainy morning. (I felt like setting the scene, so bear with me, haha.) It was our first time there, and after settling into a cute spot by the window, we ordered the whole wheat blueberry pancakes, the Eggs Benedict, and sides of homefries and breakfast sausage. The pancakes were the STAR of the show, and I can definitely see why they are known for pancakes here. (I wasn't sure if the whole wheat would throw anything off, but it really exceeded our expectations with a delectably warm vanilla flavor and so many blueberries in every bite!) The Benedict, always a classic, definitely had a worthwhile hollandaise, and the sides were delicious as well! (I can certainly see why their homefries are 'famous.') Anthony's Pancake House was super satisfying, and I'm still dreaming of those pancakes...

Yelp
I love Anthony's Pancake House! The owner/staff are so attentive and they really take care of their customers. The food has all the hits. The pancakes are my favorite but you can't go wrong with anything else on the menu. Highly recommended Montauk spot to hit when you are there!

Yelp
It's a classic casual American restaurant with pretty underwhelming food. I went for brunch on a busy weekend with some friends, and we were seated fairly quickly and the staff were nice, but the food was pretty mediocre and under seasoned for my taste. Also, trust the sign at the front. Yellow jackets were really swarming my friends and I while we waited to be sat.

Yelp
I guess I thought that because I was in the Hamptons, brunch would be epic, but instead, it was just basic. The customer service was good and friendly. The hotel and driver both recommended this breakfast spot compared to the competition, John's Pancake House ( wow, they were so creative...lol), but if this was supposed to be the best, then I think a whole new standard for brunch needs to be created. I had the scrambled eggs with corn beef hash. I always ask if it is the canned corned beef with chunks of little potato look alike or real sliced beef with the home fries for hash. The wait staff said it was the can, but he swore it would be a cut above the rest. It was not. Smh... The hot chocolate came in a glass cup for style, but it defeated the purpose because my "hot" chocolate did not stay "hot"; it was lukewarm. Finally, my companion shared that their burger was just ok. So that about sums up our experience at Anthony's Pancake House.

Yelp
Cute little diner in Montauk. We couldn't NOT have pancakes, so we ordered silver dollars for the table which was the perfect treat. The Eggs Benedict with spinach had a lovely hollandaise that was rich and delicious. Great iced coffee too.

Yelp
Awesome breakfast spot in downtown Montauk! Definitely busy so give yourself extra time. We waited about 20 minutes on a Wednesday morning around 10 AM. Menu has tons of options with some healthy ones, I opted for probably the least healthy and got Oreo waffles with ice cream but it was so good I'm still thinking about it. Both my husband and son got pancakes and potatoes and said they were great. It is slightly less expensive if you pay with cash and you are not able to tip with a credit card. Fortunately they do have an ATM. Super cute and a must if you are in the area!

Yelp
Good location. Solid breakfast option with lots of classic choices, eg eggs, pancakes. It's kind of like a fancy diner. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service is prompt and attentive.

Yelp
A much preferred venue and breakfast spot versus their competitor across the street. Establish is clean, modern, priced accordingly, friendly staff, great service. Parking in the rear or street parking if you can find it. Here off season (end of October) and was quite surprised to see how busy it got. Get there early to beat the rush. At time of visit - I believe credit cards were accepted but bring cash - there is an ATM in the back- next to one of the gender neutral restrooms.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic end to our montauk trip! We stumbled upon this place and are so glad we did. All the food was delicious! The star of the show for me was the french toast! Great food, service and friendly staff!

Yelp
Visited for after-thanksgiving-breakfast with family. I like the surprisingly modern looking white interiors, and parking at the front (street) and the back (parking lot). We ordered French toast, Pancakes and Egg Benedict, which were all served well. Fresh fruits on top of the toast were a nice addition, and coffee/orange juice were above expectations. We were a bit frustrated when we found out tips should be paid by only cash. Had to trip to my car to find some. I understand there must be a reason, but it would have been great to be mindful that not many people carry cash nowadays. Other than that, it was a great cute place for breakfast during holidays.

Yelp
Busy breakfast spot downtown. We only waited a few minutes to be seated. Our server was friendly & prompt even though the place was full. Eggs Benedict was delicious with perfectly cooked eggs. The home fries were the tastiest I've ever had. Pricy, but I'd say worth it. Casual, quick service.

Yelp
We wanted a good breakfast, and were getting a late start. We ended up stopping at Anthony's Pancake House on our way to explore. It was a great choice! We were almost exactly between the breakast rush, and the start of the lunch crowd. Our server was attentive and very nice. He was very kind and chatty with a couple of tables who looked like regulars. The waitstaff seemed to really work as a team and were all attentive. We ordered Corned Beef Hash with toast and egg, and then French Toast with a scrambled egg. The corned beef hash was quite tasty, and the french toast was perfectly done. At first, looking at the French Toast, I was afraid it would dry, but instead it was so tender and tasty, sprinkled with cinnamon, and then drizzled lightly with syrup, it was awesome. The coffee was also enjoyable. I wish I had taken photos, it was a delight.

Yelp
This place seemed packed every time we drove past it but I get the hype now! Seriously every bite tasted like heaven in my mouth. Some of the best breakfast food I've had and quick af service considering how busy it was. The ideal place to take a family, too. My partner and I will rave about this spot every time the topic of Montauk comes up!

Yelp
Very nice. Food was good, smallish portions, service was slow but it was summer. Ambiance okay.

Yelp
Corned beef hash Benedict and a side of dollar pancakes. You are good to go. Great spot. Well done.

Yelp
We spent the entire weekend in the hotel bathroom. The food tasted as bad going down as it did coming out. NEVER AGAIN

Gregory F.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Our server was polite, not pushy and made excellent suggestions! My wife couldn't decide between the pancakes with blueberries or the stuffed s'mores French toast. She got the toast in the end and had no regrets! Definitely coming back!

Yelp
So far so good Will log back in after we eat Rough start, But we will hang in there!

Yelp
Great People!! Great Food!! They'll even put a bowl of water out for your Pet. Super Clean food takes an extra minute or two. But it's so Worth the Wait! Their Pancakes are Awesome!! And don't sleep on the Home Fries. Very Clean!! Tasting Food. Don't Forget there is Counter Service inside Also.

Yelp
Another great breakfast option in Montauk. Superior in some ways to other local pancakes houses, but inferior in others. The bathroom here is CLEAN. Service is quick, and the homefries are unusually good. Like almost all other places in Montauk, the coffee here is extremely good as well. Eggs Florentine here is high above average.
google avatar

Tim T.

Yelp
Don't believe the negative reviews. Not sure what the expectations were, but this place was exactly what we wanted. Good eggs cooked perfectly good pancakes and great gravy, coffee and breakfast potatoes. Not gourmet just basic breakfast foods! Attentive polite efficient staff. We almost didn't try it because of the review score, but most recent reviews were decent. Nice updated clean place. What more do you want..

Yelp
Had an excellent late breakfast on a Friday morning at this extremely popular spot in Montauk. Very nice ambience and attentive, friendly service makes this a really busy place- my crepes were perfect and my dining partner enjoyed a more traditional egg/potato/bacon breakfast. Will definitely stop there again!

Yelp
This place has been reborn! We haven't been to Anthony's in quite a few years (or John's), but figured we give it a whirl. WOW! It has been totally redone on the inside, and looks brand new (not sure if it was done recently or a few years ago). Anyway, very nautical in decor, but like an upscale cruise, not to much, and classy shiplap all around. Super clean. Super friendly staff. Large earring area plus huge counter and outside too. Endless coffee. Event a few GF options! Food was very good! The BIG breakfast was BIG. The bacon was crisp. I ordered my standard of poached eggs and home fries and the poach was perfect, which is an art. Not that it's a competition, but beats John's Pancakes by several nautical miles.

Yelp
manager is just rude, why would you act that way as front of house? Told it would be a 30 minute wait time so after an hour and a half we were seated. When I asked about the time he first stated to us he was very sarcastic and stated "I'll give the right time next time".
google avatar

Yelp
Since the rebrand, the food quality has surpassed expectations. Staff is attentable and kind, and food is great.

Yelp
Out here on vacation and wanted a breakfast spot to go to. This location is cute and the food is good. The only thing lacking is the service overalll. I just feel like I really didn't see the waitress. I understand it's busy but still it would be nice to see them besides just ordering our food! I got the country fried steak and it was super yummy! Everything about that meal was great. It came with biscuits, hasbrowns, eggs and apparently Toast but they forgot my toast which is unfortunate. I'm not complaining though. My brother ordered the chicken tenders and they were great he said compared to the crappy chicken tenders we had yesterday. Overall the food is great but I would have to say I felt a lacking in the staffs aspect. Thanks for a great meal.

Yelp
Super cute find. I'm not gonna lie, I picked this p li ace because it's my sons name and the choice was a good one. I'm not a breakfast person so I rely on my families choice of breakfast and I usually get lunch. The staff were very attentive and so friendly. The food is the typical diner type of food but so good. I love finding little diners that offer yummy comforting food and this place is one of them!

Dave J.

Yelp
Nicest people, great venue, very comfortable/friendly. Great eggs. Terrible waffles (burnt cardboard) and awful oatmeal (unless you like gruel)... but great eggs, great service, great diner... for sure will go again.
google avatar

Yelp
Affordable and delicious. Bit of a wait but worth it. You might even see a celebrity!

Michael D.

Yelp
No matter the time of the year, it's going to be busy. Though it's worth the wait. Pancakes are a home run, however the Home Fries are absolutely essential to the meal.

Ronan S.

Yelp
the food there was ok, but it took ages for the food to come, service just ignored us because of our age, the ambiance was ok,
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not sure how this place has 2 stars?!? Some of the best French toast I have ever had. Fresh fruit, fluffy moist dulce de leche French toast and the service was great. Went here last weekend with my mom and SIL and we all loved it. Will deff return.

Yelp
Not going to lie I was a little scared to try this place based on the Yelp ratings. The yelp nation were crushing this place but we had nowhere else to go so we came here. Walking in I noticed it was clean and the place looked promising. This resembles a diner but maybe a little more clean looking. For breakfast I had to try the pancakes since it is the namesake. I went with the peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes and I was not disappointed. They were fluffy and served hot. Big portion too! My wife had the classic eggs benedict and it was also exactly what you would expect from a diner. The egg was nicely done and hollandaise had good flavor. I think they forgot the toast that was supposed to be served with it but whatever. We also tried the corn beef hash and that was sort of bland. I would skip that next time. As for the service I wouldn't say they were the friendliest. The staff also throws the dishes into the bin so there is a lot of noise going on in an otherwise quiet place. We did wait about 10 minutes to sit but it seemed like a short wait compared to other days. They were missing some items but there was plenty to choose from so no big deal. This place was much better than the Yelp reviews suggest. The food was pretty good and although the service was ok that is typical for diner style places. This place passed the test. I would come back!
google avatar

Kathy W.

Yelp
Seriously lack luster breakfast today. The toasted corn muffin my husband ordered was burnt. The scrambled eggs were runny and the pancake was flat and tasteless. Even the syrup couldn't mask the cardboard taste. They also charge a 4% fee to use a credit card and cash only for tips. When there aren't many breakfast options i guess they don't have to be good- just open.
google avatar

Alicia C.

Yelp
We were a little apprehensive since the reviews here were bit underwhelming... but TBH we had a very good experience. The only thing tang stuck out negatively was the $100 for 4 people for breakfast, but par for the course in Montauk. Either way, the service was very good and our food came out great. Good pancakes and omelettes. Very clean place and tables spaced out nicely. All in all, a good spot for enjoying traditional breakfast fare.
google avatar

Jenna Lee R.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed to write this because I have been coming here since I was a kid - almost 40 years! We ordered a half an avocado and was charged $5! Then we asked for a teaspoon of peanut butter for my son to add in his oatmeal , we were charged $3.25 - FOR A TEASPOON OF PEANUT BUTTER! When we nicely said that was a little much the woman who claimed she was the owner/manager was nasty, aggressive and basically said too bad if you don't like it don't come here anymore! Close to $100 for breakfast for two adults, a 7-year-old and a baby... plus the worst and nastiest service ever. We will never return. Go get a delicious egg sandwich from the Montauk Bakery - you'll be better off.
google avatar

Brigid C.

Yelp
Best spot in Montauk! Coffee, most important, is phenomenal. But everything- everything, is the best. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelettes! And, the beautiful game on the big screen. I want to go back - I might even do the 2 hour drive!

Nancy V.

Yelp
I went to eat at Anthony's DINER a few days ago for breakfast an the owner was very aggressive about out of towers using her bathroom...I went for a light breakfast however she made her statement very clear I could not wake in an just use the ladies room...I replied well if I am having coffee than I can use the bathroom.??? She was okay at that point but I would not go there again an the eggs were not that great...next time I will go to John's across the street... I hope the owner is more friendly an accommodating on the future with out of town customers....
google avatar

Lisette M.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere and warm welcoming customer service. Especially Kevin who goes above and beyond! This is the go to breakfast spot and highly recommend trying their famous home fries, they are absolutely delicious. They could use a couple more vegan options but otherwise no one I've been with has had a bad experience with their order.

Marcus J.

Yelp
Service slow and when you ask they keep telling you, "1 more minute" when it's clearly a lie. Still haven't received food. Stick around for an update....
google avatar

Genie M.

Yelp
I have been trying to choose restaurants randomly as opposed to using yelp... so thats how i ended up here....After i ordered i tjen checked the review and was shocked and a bit uneasy after seeing the two star rating. So glad that I stooped in. The service e was on point, DELICICIOS Greek coffee was being poured almost as soon as we were seated. I ordered the ffeta and spinach omelette, truly enjoyed, plenty of feta and plenty of feta. The rye toast with real butter was mm, mm good. Great service the staff worked together as a team. Great experience. They are so much better than 2 stars. Also the owner was eating his breakfast here and if he eats here and is 91years young, I take that as a good sign to eat here
google avatar

Mick D.

Yelp
Big let down. Walk in. Not greeted by anyone. No sign to wait for server or to seat your self. After standing there for a minute or two and making blatant eye contact with who seemed to be the manager a few times I finally asked "do we sit ourselves or what".... we sit down... at least 10 minutes before a server comes and brings water Tiny water cup. Was never refilled. Was never asked if I needed anything after my over cooked eggs Benedict came out. Eggs Benedict was pretty murdered. Barely any runny yolk. Home fries on menu say "our famous home fries" I got soggy greasy cold homefries. No crisp, no crunch. I know have diarrhea also which is a bummer. Pun intended. Skip this place and just get an egg sandwich somewhere else and start ripping cigs on the beach. Suns out guns out.
google avatar

Larry S.

Yelp
Nicely renovated and can accommodate large groups. Small portions, the Feta in my omelette was not melted and still in little cubes, quality of the food below average, ordered a side of bacon, got 3 small, fatty strips. Very disappointing.
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
Great breakfast! Good service. Omelette on the small side. The pancakes delicious! Country fried steak excellent! Price point is exactly where I expect for beach town. I would come here again.

C J.

Yelp
The best pancakes in Montauk. Eggs were done to perfection. Sausages are Brown and Serve style, but they happen to be my favorite. Fresh and delicious fruit; coffee to die for. Served quickly and with a smile. If you expect a bargain, don't eat in the Hamptons. Clean, wonderful atmosphere. If you placed your trip by reviews, you'd think that everyone had horns. I encountered only very nice, helpful people.
google avatar

Anna M.

Yelp
We had a delicious breakfast here. The service was good. The place is clean and updated. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Don't believe the negative reviews and give this place a try. My wife and I went for breakfast and were greeted warmly by several people who told us to sit at any available table. The place is bright, cheerful and very clean. The servers were very attentive and refilled the coffee several times. Our waiter was polite and friendly. The food was good and the prices were fair - actually were a little less expensive than we expected compared to other places in Montauk. We will gladly return!
google avatar

Yelp
The atmosphere of Anthony's has certainly changed! The new owners are very sweet and generous, they hired all new staff and redid the interiors beautifully. Staff was very kind and helpful to make some excellent recommendations to us. Service was quick and the new menu has a lot of great additions, my partner ordered their crepes and fries as well (not pictured), which were very fresh and delicious (the fries are my favorite). I'm very excited to come back and try out more options from their menu!

Yelp
What a quaint looking space! Very Normal Rockwell, Anthony's Pancake & Waffle House is a typical Americana diner that looks at home in Montauk as well as in Iowa. Our waitress comes over, the first thing I asked: Do you make the corned beef hash? She shakes her head and said its out of a can. Hey, at least she's honest. I needed some healthy fuel to keep me going for the day so I ordered two poached eggs with grilled ham & rye toast. A typical american breakfast being served across the USA. Anthony's Pancake & Waffle House did take a shortcut, they took ham cold cuts, threw it on the grill and served it to me. Meh My wife ordered a spinach omelet, she said the spinach was frozen out of a box, they grabbed a bunch and made her omelet. She gives Anthony's Pancake & Waffle House one Yelp star. She didn't finish her meal and said her breakfast was gross. Anthony's Pancake & Waffle House has pancakes on menu? Like waffles? All be served here with those fake syrup pouches that I hate. If this restaurant was in, pick a Hampton? It wouldn't be opened since 1959. In Montauk a nice tourist town, people are more forgiving. Come early for no wait if you want to sit and eat breakfast
