Im brand new to south jersey... FYI huge pizza fan ...hands down thee BEST PIZZA I'VE HAD IN 6 MONTHS OF JOINING MANAHAWKIN COMMUNITY!!! Bravo Anthony's 👏 👏 👏 💯% the BEST Pizza around, ...and dont get me started with the garlic knots!!! Wowza absolutely delicious 😋....THANK YOU ... and thank you for your kind friendly warm demeanor!!! AUTHENTIC. That’s the best word I can use to describe this place. Synonyms for that also work. Legit. Real. Honest. True. Found this place on the Google, so glad. That’s the Meat Lovers pizza. Oh, and the large is only $1 more than the medium. Seriously? If you don’t order the large, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING? This became our dinner for TWO nights because we (me and my wife) could only eat HALF on our first sitting. Bacon, ham, sausage, pepperoni…perfect crust…cheese was terrific too. Cooked exactly the way you would expect. Awesome decor. Wonderful staff. This place has been around forever, I think, at least 25 years. That’s one sure way to know it’s … authentic. The real deal. JUST GO EAT HERE ALREADY!!!😂

The place is dirty the counters have pizza on it left over night ! And dried up butter and garlic container sitting there must use for garlic bites , always loved the place but seeing this habitual habits leads me to wonder how many mice etc… are running around . Windows look like they haven’t been cleaned in years ! Do better

If you THINK you can find a better slice, best of luck. I'm a few towns over and we hit this place whenever we can. Usually on the way to the island we'll grab a pie, it's a PERFECT New Jersey pizza. Guy at the counter told me he did 500 pizzas recently in a day - and I'm willing to bet they were all incredible. Keep it up and keep killing it guys!

Delicious and fresh pizza! We got the supreme pizza and a sub and they were both great! Staff is friendly, fast paced, and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting. One of the best pizza places near LBI!

White pie with vegetables is excellent. Service is always friendly when getting takeout. Garlic parm wings are also very good.

The pizza here is so good. Crust is perfectly thin and very tasty. We have also tried the chicken cheese steaks which are delicious. This pizzeria deserves 5 stars, every time we come in service is so great, friendly staff even when understaffed. We will definitely be back.

The chicken wings was so salty after the second one I had to throw it out and the chicken parm was not good , the sauce was so sour your ears pop.

Previously the best Pizza around. Now, the large pie is noticeably smaller than it used to be, flop jallops aka no crisp, and cold by the time you get it home. I was a big fan of this shop, so it pains me to write a poor review. If you don't believe me, try it yourself - order a large pie and take it home.

Frozen Ellios pizza heated in a microwave is higher quality pizza. Trust me. Tomato paste- that's not sauce! Little to no seasoning. Go margarita pizza- the cheese was uncut & rubbery, why would someone want to eat that?? Expensive / OVERPRICED. Service: SLOW! Ambiance? It was a pizza place. That's the best I can say. Find another place

This place is awesome. Food is excellent and the people couldn't be nicer. Ziti and broccoli in oil and not over garlicky and the white pizza with spinach and Cesar salad was great. They use fresh broccoli and spinach and added grilled chicken to the pasta dish. Tremendous value!

Great pizza and food in general. They are always busy for a reason! We drive to LBI from NY state and always stop here. Must try!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. This is some of the best pizza i have ever had in my life. I've been coming here since i was young and never found a better slice. I recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza. It's DIVINE

I heard from a friend that Anthony's pizza was on par with Northern NJ & NYC pizza (thin crispy crust with great sauce) so for takeout we ordered a large half pepperoni pizza and a lasagna dinner. Well, it was awesome! As an added bonus the owners and workers were so nice and appreciative of the business and tip. Looks like our new go-to.

Haven't ordered pizza here recently because last couple of times was disappointed. Wanting to support our local small businesses, I tried once more only to be disappointed again. Pizza was dry, tasteless and all pieces were burned on the bottom. Hate to have to go elsewhere as I am a long time customer. But all I want is an edible pizza. What has happened to Anthony's?

Excellent pies and Chicken Parm Sandwiches! Highly recommend on a Sunday afternoon or evening when you don't feel like cooking. Friendly people too!

Passable cheese steak, decent flavor and fresh roll, they just need to melt the cheese into the meat a little better. Friendly staff though.

I was so excited to get Jersey pizza for the first time, but was not blown away. While the staff was friendly and the restaurant was authentic, I didn't love my pizza.

Best Pizza around since the 80s, they never go wrong, doesn't matter whose's making it and your always treated like family, even stays open a little longer just cuz your running late.

The pizza here was amazing. We got our 4 pies to go and I still thought the service was fantastic for some reason. The pizza is well balanced and would be the perfect leftover in the morning for breakfast. Or lunch. Or dinner. Or breakfast. Price wasn't bad for what you got.

Great take out plain & pepperoni pizza and oily delicious garlic knots... mmmm mmm mm! The crispiness, cheese and sauce balance is superb. A really well prepared, delightful smelling and perfect texture pizza.

Pizza and their crispy wings are amazing. My husband loves the cold antipasta salad. Summer weekend's, it can get busy and have up to 1.5 hours to get your order but I recommend.

My husband, dad and I went here for the first time 2 nights ago. I was a little hesitant on how good everything would be but we LOVED everything we had. From the chicken parm, to the baked ziti, to an eggplant sub, everything was delicious. We loved it so much we ordered take out the next night as well! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We already can't wait for our next order!

New to the area. Looked at Yelp for the highest rated pizza place. Anthony's had the best ratings. I gave them a shot with a meatball pie. It was bland. They put the meatballs under the cheese so you can't taste them as well. My friend, my wife and I all at the same time rated it a 6. Not bad, just wouldn't go back. Tried Joey's the next night. Lower rated place but that pizza was an 8. Only problem with Joeys is it is more expensive, but they do deliver.

The pizza really is the best. Always get plain pie well done. From crust to cheese reminds me of pizza from north jersey. I think $14 for the large plain pie. Ive never had anything else from here and prefer takeout due to the place doesnt look so good inside.

The pizza is literally the best!!! Wish they delivered though. This has always been my summer spot for years and years. Since moving here permanently I went all the time. But the last year or so I moved out of BHW and delivery is usually what we want when we get pizza since we think of it kinda last minute. But seriously the best around. It's delicious. Highly recommend.

I have eaten their Pizza many times before (very good) but just didn't feel like Pizza so ordered 2 meals, Lasagna and Linguini in a vodka sauce with chicken. We will never do that again. The Lasagna was pretty bad, i could have done better in 20 min by myself, tasteless, I threw half in the garbage. The linguini was just OK but the chicken was way over breaded, and I don't think it was all breasts. The place is clean and the staff friendly but for being Italian they certainly can't make good Italian dishes. Looks like we will be just ordering pizza for now on. 5 stars for the pizza and staff, 1 star for the dinners.

Called and was placed on hold but with the phone on the counter. After helping a handful of counter quests and taking other phone orders I'm asked to hold again. Won't be holding for this place again.

I have been coming for about 6 years; excellent pizza, plain, Sicilian, grandma you name it. By far the best in the area and close to an 8 nationwide. Give it a try you can't go wrong.

Always great pizza. Had a chicken cheesesteak hoagie tonight with hot peppers and it was delicious, the best I've had in years. Love that they have actual hot cherry peppers!! Kids can't get enough of their garlic knots either. Consistently good!

I was visiting Jersey for the weekend. Randomly found this place while in town and I'm so thankful that I did. Hands down one of the best pizzas I had in New Jersey. We ordered a large pepperoni extra crispy pizza and it was made perfectly. I couldn't put the pizza down, almost ate the whole thing by myself. It's been two weeks since I was there and I can't stop thinking about that damn pizza!

Pizza Pie with extra cheese is best pizza in ocean county call el prez the pizza guy. Subs are substantial. You can split the large one and be very satisfied. My favorite takeout in the area. Good old school NJ pizza joint, always good food and portions are more than fair.

Our favorite pizza place in town and honestly anywhere near and around LBI or Beach Haven West. Eddie makes the best pie in town!!!!

Not good , I ordered chicken parm dinners and they were aweful . Tasted like it was microwaved and the pasta that came with it was laughable. I wouldn't recommend

When I'm down in Manahawkin this is my favorite pizza joint. I found this place in high school as it was located close to an ex's house. She is long gone, but this joint still holds a place in my heart. The Sicilian pie here is the best I've had. The cheese is perfect, the sauce is tangy and just right, the crust is wonderful. They also have awesome cheesesteaks. The meat is so tasty. Their fries are good as well. For a small local place, they sure do taste big time.

Was finished cooking before I knew it got into an argument with the guys over the World Cup always a good time sat down tasted it and I feel like Italy with some hot sauce and chicken was in my mouth. was super cheesy made me cum a little bit 100% coming back 10/10 would recommend

Went to dinner on Saturday night and found that it was under new ownership. The food was not very good I had a chicken parmigiana sandwich which had very little chicken or cheese on it. The sandwich had not taste and was mostly bread. My husband had a sub sandwich which had so much oil on it that it just poured out of the bottom. Neither one of us could eat what we ordered. What a shame as the food was so good when it was under the old ownership. We have a house in the area and will not go back again. Gave one star because I had to.

This was a nice find in a pinch. The crust was a bit too under done for our taste. Next time we'd order it well done, but it didn't even crisp up in the oven at home, so I don't know if that would help. The garlic knots were amazing though and the pizza was tasty. Also, the woman at the counter was warm and pleasant.

I was disgusted how filthy this pizzeria was.Inches of dust on the ceiling fan,the vents,it was extremely hot 83 degrees, dirty floor display glass,tables and booths,not to mention the disgrace of the American flag being filthy. The appetizer had been brought out the same time as entree.no forks.no small plates.udercook soggy greasy pizza.very disappointed and stomach pains on 3 people.

Got some very good pizza here before going to the island. It was at least as good as anything on the island (Joey's, Bay Village, etc). And at about 25-30% less than island prices. Also grabbed a chicken parm dinner with penne. The chicken was good for a pizzeria place, the sauce on the penne was tasty.

Awesome pizza!!! We've had several types of pizza, meat lovers, buffalo chicken, white with spinach and tomato- all of them are amazing!!! Definitely worth checking out!!! Staff is great!! Always friendly and helpful!!!
