Usually very kind, attentive, communicative, and helpful…but lately turning sour with the customer service. Until now, we’ve always been impressed with the style and vibe of this particular Anthro. Our hope is that it will improve overall customer service.

I visited this store on April 17th and while I didn’t purchase anything (because I didn’t like the way the clothes fit). I had to give a review about the Excellent customer service I received. They were very attentive, answered any questions I had and offered suggestions.

Always a great experience regardless of the location. Awesome customer service. Their candles are AHHHHmazing. My absolute favorite candle is Panjore Lychee. Best candle for a at home spa day. Just wonderful. Store is a little pricey so stay in your lane and don’t complain.

Honestly I’m giving this place five stars because every time I go in the employees are so kind and welcoming. I have a baby so shopping can be really hard and they are so helpful to me and the fitting rooms are perfect for a nursing break and diaper changes.

So, I just bought some clothes today and the staff picks and chooses who to greet. I had to chase down staff. They’re not mindful of customers and the store isn’t even busy. I asked this arrogant blonde woman questions about merchandise and she was acting like she wanted to get away. How are you all acting like snobs making minimum wage, humble yourself? None of them have any social skills, which I would presume is a prerequisite to work in customer service. They get the additional star because I like the clothes. The store is obviously lacking good management.

Anthro is expensive - like very. But it's fun to browse and I always find some lotion or soap to bring home from this store. I like their vanilla perfume and the Barr & Co. line of soaps and lotions and perfume that smells SO good. I also love their home accessories like candles and cups and plates and bowls. They have yoga items as well for sale recently. Loads of candles They also have clothing but most of it is a hippie, boho-look that is not my style. A few items catch my eye every time but the high prices steer me away because they're so plain for such high prices. Still cute tho!

Yelp
I only discovered this store last year on a trip to Stony Point Fashion Park in Richmond. It has a lot of boho chic style clothes and housewares inside. They have a little of everything, some home decor, kitchen stuff (like plates and such), candles, bubble baths, perfume, clothes, shoes, sheets, etc. Really you can find a little of everything in this store. I've visited a HUGE Anthropologie in Seattle which had a much larger selection of items but this store has a little of everything for everyone. My favorite thing is their Barr and Co. brand of bath goods. The original scent is a heavenly oatmeal scent that I am in LOVE with. I have bubble bath, soap, a candle, and some perfume that I spray into my hair every day before work to make it smell good. It's just so light and clean and fresh. MmmmmMmmmm!

Yelp
I'm an Anthro fan! This one is usually well stocked, beautifully appointed and has great customer service. Love the window displays and creative merchandising. The back sale room is like finding the Holy Grail!

Yelp
Love love love this store. I like this location especially since it always seems to be a bit quieter. The staff is super friendly except the one that said she loved that I "went there" with a specific style of dress that only works on "certain body types" none of which I'm assuming I fit into BUT ANYWAY I still love this store and I walked out with two great pieces of clothing- one being a killer long pant legged romper. 5 stars for the great location and other great staff- bumped it down to 2 stars because walking out of a fitting room and into a backhanded compliment from personnel about my body isn't my idea of a good time.

Yelp
If I am going to spend a pretty penny on a new dress, it better come with above average service. The Anthropologie in Richmond really lives up to that standard. I had been eyeing a particular dress on the Anthropologie website, and of course two days later it is no longer available online. So I called the store in Georgetown hoping that they would still have one available in my size... I called the store probably 4-5 times during business hours, but no one ever picked up the phone! Fail. So I got desperate and called the Richmond store, even though I really didn't want to have to drive that far to go pick up the dress. I found out that unfortunately they did not have my size in stock, but they would call around to other stores for me and try to find it. Honestly, that didn't sound too promising. I pretty much didn't expect to hear anything back. But to my surprise, I received a call from the Reston Anthropologie -- and they sent the dress to my house, with free shipping! I am really happy with the reliable and friendly service, and I can't wait to receive the dress!

Yelp
Anthro is such a hit or miss for me. Sometimes, it's amazing - the salespeople are on it, the products are awesome, and I leave with a bleeding wallet. But other times, the salespeople aren't too with it, the products are lacking, and I leave depressed that I couldn't find that perfect new addition to my wardrobe. My most recent visit was a total hit, though. I ended up leaving with some awesome ponte leggings and a super soft long sleeve tee. The staff wasn't amazingly helpful, but they were friendly so that makes up for it. If you're looking for colorful, vintage-looking, or untraditional home decor items, then Anthro is an awesome bet. I've found incredible pillows, fun aprons, monogrammed mugs, and patterned plates that just can't be beat. It's definitely worth a look if you're in need of spicing up your abode!

Yelp
One of my favorite clothing stores in Richmond. Great selection of adorable clothes, shoes, accessories, and home decor. Most recently got a bunch of cute things for a Mothers day gift. One downside is the prices; its all pretty expensive. Always make sure to check out the back sale room; I've found a bunch of great finds in there! They also sometimes put up clearance items in the front of the stores in baskets, which often include a lot of fun nick knacks. Staff is very friendly, and ready to help with whatever you need, whether it's where to find an item, or helping put together an outfit! They also have a complimentary personal shopper in store that you can make appointments with, or come visit with on Wednesdays, which is very helpful.

Yelp
Great looking store, plenty to see - if ever you're not feeling like emptying your savings account on one pair of jeans, check out the clearance room hiding in back!

Yelp
Anthropologie is one of my very favorite stores, but I'm not a big fan of this location. The selection is quite limited, and some of the sales people are not very friendly. It's a very different experience than ones I've had at Anthros in other cities I've lived in and visit while on vacation, which, in addition to the store being in a really inconvenient location, means I mostly go here just to return online purchases. Wish Richmond had a more centrally-located Anthro with more items in stock and more consistently nice employees.

Yelp
I had an online return issue and the store really helped me out greatly sorting it all out. The staff was great!! Thank you!! I always have great customer service here.
