Anthy's Guest House & Restaurant

This was my fifth time at Anthy’s and it was perfect! I took my family and the children loved it. Mahendra and the staff could not have been more accommodating through the booking process right through to loading our bags in the taxi on departure. The service and location are unbeatable with staff taking the time to our every need. The food is unbeatable throughout the whole day. The location is in the beach and the bungalows are set in beautiful gardens which are maintained. The whole set up is very safe. We had the best time and can’t wait to return .

We had a wonderful experience overall. This is the first ever Guest House we were sad to leave. This place is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach in a calm setting. My cousin who booked the room for us has a great taste in choosing the location and great service. The location is fantastic—peaceful, serene, and perfect for those seeking a tranquil getaway. The beach is quiet and secluded, ideal for long walks and relaxation without the crowds. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a warm smile. Mahendra made our stay perfect and the rest of the boys made our holiday most enjoyable. Room for improvement in our opinion are; 1) A better flow of the water especially at the sink in the bathroom 2) Complimentary breakfast 3) Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom 4) a reminder note in every room for keeping the noise level down after 11:00pm. (We could not sleep until 3am for a couple of nights since the neighbors two doors away were chatting loudly in front of their room.)

With Shahruk's help I was able to enjoy going into the sea a bit further from the shore as I was not fully mobile. A better flow of the water especially at the sink in the bathroom would have made our stay flawless.. I hope we will be able to go back again soon. Miss you guys at Anthy's.

When we arrived the hotel gardens are beautiful. Reception desk area is good. Staff are pleasant and attentive aswell. Location is great aswell but a bit on its own. No shops around even to buy a can of coke. Room we found wasn't worth £50 a night. The bathroom smelt. Toilet seat was broken. We've stayed in guest houses for half the price that have had better bathrooms and rooms. What really upset us was the hotel provided limited sun beds - some of which were broken and standing on bricks and on very uneven ground. The hotel also reserves sunbeds to people who aren't guests in the hotel giving them priority to the better sunbeds before paying guests Be careful also to pay your bill daily. I wasn't told this - thought like any hotel you would settle at end of your stay. I was pulled over to one side and made to feel humiliated by a desk member of staff to kindly pay my bill which was only 1100 rupees. He also lied to me saying that he had called out room asking us to pay our outstanding bill when infact we didn't even have a phone in our room. Needless to say we won't be returning to anthys guesthouse.

I would give the location 5 stars. It has great access to the beach. Everything about the room was a nightmare for us. We ended up cutting our stay short here because we were very uncomfortable in our dingy rooms with old springy beds. The rooms don't actually look like in the pictures. There was no hot water. The towels were stained. The toilet stinked. The food was okay but everything is very expensive.

A dear friend recommended this place and it turned out to be one of the best places I have stayed at in South Goa. The location, staff, food, service, etc., are top notch. Very friendly and supportive staff. They will go out of the way to help. The rooms are small, but very well maintained. Wash rooms attached and very clean. They also have cottages at the back, that seemed spacious. Amole parking space at the property. It is definitely worth every penny you pay.

We stayed in Anthys guest house for 3 nights. Amazing beach side cottages to stay in south Goa. Very close to clean sernabatim beach. We can walk in the beach to other restaurants and shacks. Clean rooms good staff and owner. Recommend this place to others.
