Antica Pizzeria Del Borgo Orefici

At first I thought it looked a little sketchy. We were set up in a small plastic table in the street next to the parked cars. But, the pizza was fantastic. We had a fresh choice with tomatoes, arugula, and fresh mozzarella. The other had mozzarella, ricotta, tomato sauce, and spiced ground beef. Very tasty. The house red wine was chilled but good on a hot evening. I made reservations for 7:30 and it wasn’t busy. I thought maybe I didn’t need them but the restaurant quickly filled up with people waiting in line.

Quick little joint for a pizza and some pasta in the city center. Pizza was tasty and the gnocchi were solid. Would recommend if one is in the area looking for a low key spot to eat and discuss.

I had a wonderful experience at Antica Pizzeria del Borgo Orefici. The restaurant was open, just as it says on Google Maps, and our reservation was handled without any issues. The highlight was, of course, the pizza. I ordered a classic Neapolitan pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and the crust was perfect. What really made the evening special was the warm and welcoming staff. They were so friendly and made me feel right at home. I can't recommend this place enough!

A brilliant authentic Napoli multi generational restaurant. Our food was so good, stuff zucchini flowers, and arancini balls to start, and one of their terrific pizza. Base was perfect, flavours delish. Accompanied by the house white wine. Very reasonable prices. Extremely friendly staff. Very popular with locals so book over weekends. Also do pizza delivery as you can see in the picture.

Funny staff with a good smile. The pizza is delicious. The mussels are fresh and we ordered for 2 times in 2 night. Every kind of seafood is delicious and we ordered many dishes until the staff said "Please stop" 😄

We went here 3 times in the 5 days we were in Naples that's says it all! Just the most delicious pizza. Had 2 pretty fussy kids with us and no problems at all..daughter had pasta dishes twice and cleared the plate! Really great value, always busy even on a Monday night when most other nearby places were quiet. Will definitely be back

A very beautiful cozy restaurant off slightly the road in the corner , well lit up with great Italian food options. We ordered the spaghetti clams and it was so delicious. With perfect amount of olive oil, mildly spices but very authentic & flavorful . Both the quantity & quality of clams was great ! We did not have time to sit down & eat so we requested take away. The lady in charge of cash desk was very pleasant to talk to and helped us to explain in English. They have menu card printed in English too. The packing was so good that even after 35 mins walk as we reached home, the pasta was still hot not sticky and tasted just awsome , some garlic chunks found in it enhanced the taste . I wish we had time to do a seat out dinner with some wine but may be next time ! If you wish to taste authentic local Italian food with moderate pricing do visit . For clam spaghetti we paid just 12 euros and qty that was shared by 2 ( moderate hungry) , clams were really lot and so fresh and yummy! ( p.s.the food pictures are from take away delivery )

It's the perfect back alley neighborhood dining option. Great food, great service. We came back multiple times as it was close to our stay. Tried many menu items and was all good and very affordable. 5 Napoli stars. Better than the more presumptuous main street choices. A for sure must try in Napoli.

My first stop in a city I've always wanted to spend some time in. Naples has held an interest as a hard working town for its entire life, it's not flashy like many of its more famous city's, but its inhabitants are proud to be from Napoli. They claim to have invented pizza and mozzarella cheese. This restaurant we read a bit about and decided to give it a go, and my gawd, if you're in Naples and don't go there they should take away your Yelp membership. It's very old school and was filled with a wide range of patrons, from family's with little ones, to tourists like ourselves, and regular locals. The service was quick, the food nothing short of spectacular, so fresh, plentiful and oh so tasty. We sat outside and didn't venture into the inside, but the vibe was so positive we wish we could jar it and take it home. Our salad and pasta dish were shared and we took the entire pizza back to our flat as yummy leftovers the following morning cold, and heated up for a dinner after a long day of exploring what Naples has to offer. We are heading back there tonight for a second experience, and can't be happier to do so!!

My first Pizza in Napoli. I can't think of the name of the pizza, but it's close to a margarita pizza and it was to die for good. We sat out on this little rinky-dink patio and watched the traffic Napoli passes by.

Best Pizza we had during our entire 2 weeks in Italy! The cafe is in a small hidden place off the main drag, but worth finding! Not fancy, you are sitting in an alley way with no indoor seating. A street vendor recommended it, what a gem! The pizza sauce was perfectly balanced with herbs and tomato consistency, the buffalo mozzarella cheese was a perfect compliment, not too much and not little, the best part of all was the crust, not too thick, and every bite allowed us to taste all the wonderful flavors melt together. Mama Mia!

Wife's exact words, "That's the best pizza I've had in my life." What else can I say?

Great pizza and lightning fast service. Friendly staff in this small but authentic pizza house. A little but off the beaten path but worth it.
