Agostino is a excellent host. He’s interested in people and places, friendly, kind, and very knowable. The room was large, beds very comfortable and the bathroom ok. There was also complementary fruitplatter and water from the host at the room, which was also equipped with minibar, hairdryer, the and a lot of information about Bologna and Italy. Perfekt location, close to Piazza Maggiore and easy to get around.

Just amazing. This hotel was an absolute delight in so many ways. It has an old Italian fashioned style and is quirky. It’s on the second floor of a very secure apartment building close to the centre of Bologna. There is a lift but we mostly used the stairs. When you enter you are hit with the “antica” style. The rooms are wonderful. The beds large and comfortable (the best sleeps we had on our long European trip). So quiet. Good bathrooms. We had a fantastic balcony rather than a larger room. The breakfasts were great too. Finally Agostino, the owner, is second to none. So helpful, so friendly. I will definitely recommend him and his hotel to my family.

This was a wonderful find. We enjoyed Bologna very much and this property was excellent and an incredible value. Our host, Roberto was brilliant and very chatty and helpful. He's a lovely guy and you can tell he has a long history in the industry and he was very flexible. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We found the Bed and Breakfast very quiet which was perfect for sleeping. The thick walls repel sound. Breakfast was plentiful and Roberto had great recommendations for dinner. The price was outstanding - there were a lot of expensive hotels available but this was very very affordable and clean and a real gem. I'd absolutely stay here again. The only thing to watch out for is it’s about a 25 minute walk to the train station (a 5-7 minute taxi ride) but it was no problem for us. If you are reading this then you've already found the right place to book. It’s wonderful. This really helped make our holiday wonderful. We loved Bologna.

Our room was very big and with excellent decoration, very clean, with housekeeping every day. The beds are very comfortable and linen brand new. It is located in the centre of Bologna, five minutes walk from Piazza Majore and all major sites. Mr. Agostino is a great host,very helpfull and he welcomed us with a bottle of wine. He also offers very nice breakfast. |Overall, it exceeded our expectations.

When we arrived in Bologna we texted our host Agostino, alerting him to our taxi's arrival and thus began 6 days of his attention to our care and well being. Agostino deserves all the rave reviews you can read below this one, He is the friendliest and most helpful of hosts. We have stayed in various hotels on many previous visits to Bologna but this time chose this small, unique and most conveniently located lodging in central Bologna. A short walk to the main piazza and close to bakeries, bars, restaurants, churches, shops, and even the tourist welcome center (for those who are new to Bologna). All those features just listed can be "near" other hotels, but this place offers the warmth of a home with the creature comforts necessary. Maybe not the most modern, so don't go there if you want a modern hotel that looks the same as every other hotel.|With hotel concierge experience in his background, multiple languages flowing easily from his mouth and an interest in meeting people, Agostino is there if you need him. If you don't want his help he won't intrude, but you will be missing out on getting to know a special person, making your next "regular/modern hotel" stay seem antiseptic and not as much fun.

We really enjoyed our time in Agostino's pensione. He was a warm welcoming host who looked after us with great kindness. My partner was unwell while we were there and he was most attentive and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well furnished; we had a generous and well equipped en suite. The pensione is also very well located. We felt very much at home there.

We were staying in August 2020 for several days and found this a perfect location, a short walk to the centre. ||||Agostino brings high level personal service to a traditional B&B in a great location. From our arrival when he was waiting outside to greet our taxi and help with luggage to our departure he was attentive without being intrusive. He was always available or to have a chat to improve our Italian but we never felt that we lacked privacy.||||In addition to the breakfast, which he adapted smoothly for some special dietary requirements ,a large assortment of fresh fruit (peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums...) was available in our room along with fresh water daily.||||It is a traditional style with a bit of age on some things but the room was very clean, in fact spotless and everything was cleaned every day thoroughly. We had everything available that was needed for our stay from tea and milk supplies through to cold beer in the fridge (best enjoyed on the small balcony!)

Incredible stay at Agostino’s hotel. The room was huge and extremely clean with everything you could need. Fresh fruit and tea at all times and such comfortable bed! It is very close to the main square and fantastic restaurants and bars. Our favourite thing was the owner Agostino, he is a wonderful person and we had wonderful conversation every day. He kindly Recommended great things to do and places to eat. We will Definitely stay again!
