Antica Trattoria Angelino

We went to the restaurant on the recommendation of the accommodation provider. We were settled right away but no one served us for a long time. The table was not set and there was only one napkin, which was apparently from previous customers, and the waiter boldly put new cutlery on it. The service was pretty poor all the time, and for the rating it has and how many waiters there are, I didn't feel like they were interested in making the customers feel comfortable. We got the pasta with chicken even though the menu said there would be tuna. I would say it is quite overrated.

We had a divine experience dining at this restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. This place was recommended to us by the locals. Shoutout to Joseph took fantastic care of us. I ordered Amatriciana with a red wine which was recommended by Joseph, it did not disappoint at all. Would be visiting this place once we are back next time.

We visited this restaurant one evening and loved the modern, authentic Roman atmosphere. The outdoor setting was romantic, especially after sunset. Our waiter was pleasant, adding a relaxing and humorous touch to the evening. The sea bass and tuna pasta were delicious, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to the Colosseum. We enjoyed the lasagne, gnocchi and a lovely glass.of recommended white wine. 😋

5 Stars – A Wonderful Dining Experience in Rome! We discovered this restaurant by chance on our first trip to Rome, and what a gem it turned out to be! The food was absolutely amazing – rich in flavor, perfectly prepared, and truly memorable. The service was fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for a second visit to end our trip on a high note. This time, we arrived early and were the first guests there. The restaurant was expecting large groups, but we were still able to get a table for two. Although the service was a bit slower due to the preparations for the groups, the staff were attentive and always acknowledged the delay, which we really appreciated. To top it off, they offered us a small discount to make up for the longer wait – a kind and thoughtful gesture that showed their commitment to great service. For the delicious food, warm atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, this place fully deserves 5 stars. Highly recommended!

As I was paying and waiting for the change, the change never came, I needed to confront them and say hello, could I get my change ? It was like with purpose, only small money , we'll I think first of all the portion was so small , second I paid the service your coperti , give me my change!
