Antica Trattoria Angelino

We absolutely loved our lunch time visit to this amazing restaurant, right in the heart of Rome so close to some of the most amazing sites and yet it felt peaceful and secluded in this beautiful side street with so much history. We had pasta and it was exceptional. When we visit Rome again we will definitely come here again.

Had lunch here and ordered carbonara and lasagna and it was alright nothing special. I had other better pasta in Italy. Aperol is super expensive €12 where you can buy it 5-7€ somewhere else. Tiramisu is good though! The service is also super slow 🥲 There is a coperto of €3/pp and the server is even asking for a tip 🥲

Really nice and friendly service, we had to wait a little bit for a free table and they gave us cups of champagne, so lovely. Cute location also to eat outside and the food was really good! We shared the Caprese and then we ate both the Carbonara, one of the best we had! 😍

Had a really nice dinner here the other night. Food was excellent, service was friendly, and the outdoor seating area was charming. They also accommodated the tastes of a 4 year old. Highly recommend.

We went to the restaurant on the recommendation of the accommodation provider. We were settled right away but no one served us for a long time. The table was not set and there was only one napkin, which was apparently from previous customers, and the waiter boldly put new cutlery on it. The service was pretty poor all the time, and for the rating it has and how many waiters there are, I didn't feel like they were interested in making the customers feel comfortable. We got the pasta with chicken even though the menu said there would be tuna. I would say it is quite overrated.

Amazing food. Probably some of the best pasta I have ever had. Service was great. Location was easy to access.

Ok this is embarrassing. I recognized a semi-famous person eating here with his friends/family and thought “well he probably knows the best spots…” Nope not exactly. Probably a case of don’t bother “she’s a tourist and won’t know the difference between tourist trap and the real deal” Definitely got that ‘lady eating alone must have cooties’ vibe. I wanted light lunch so I got 2 appetizers: carciofi alla Giudia and bruschetta. The artichokes were gross. Sadly Da Enzo has ruined me for those maybe- These were drowning in oil that wasn’t really very fresh. Almost made me queasy. Bruschetta was simple but tasty. I asked for a glass of wine and it arrived when I was half- finished. Service was annoyed and annoying. This place has been here 1000 years and I hoped to have a quiet delicious lunch. Instead I got crabby at paying wayyy too much for very underwhelming overpriced food & bev.

We had a divine experience dining at this restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. This place was recommended to us by the locals. Shoutout to Joseph took fantastic care of us. I ordered Amatriciana with a red wine which was recommended by Joseph, it did not disappoint at all. Would be visiting this place once we are back next time.
