Antica Trattoria

Simple Italian meal, only because we have been having a lot of French cuisine. We would have enjoyed the outdoor dining more, if we didn't have to breathe or eat next to smoking patrons.

Their pizza tasted absolutely delicious, especially the dough!!! With good service, quite a nice experience there. Would love to try their pasta next time, looked also very yummy.

Absolutely great dining experience! Our group of five was seated and able to place our order within just a few minutes. The staff was incredibly attentive and efficient, constantly observing all the tables to make sure every guest was taken care of. The food arrived quickly—within 10 to 15 minutes—and everything was fresh and delicious. If you’ve just finished exploring the castle and need a hearty meal to recharge, I highly recommend this restaurant!

During our trip, we unexpectedly discovered that this restaurant was packed on Saturday nights, so we had to take away the Bolognese pasta back to the hotel. It was generously portioned, with rich sauce and chewy noodles, topped with cheese powder and tasted delicious. We decided to revisit the restaurant for lunch the next day and luckily got a window seat. We tried two flavors of spaghetti this time. The Carbonara spaghetti was not greasy but full of flavor, very satisfying. We also ordered desserts, which were delicious. If you have the chance to visit Fond Blanc, it's worth a try.

We went to this restaurant with family and my 3 years old little nephew. The Staff were really friendly and kind to children. The food was good with quality and fresh ingredients. They proposed to us Italian wine which was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my take-away pizza from here. The waiters could speak in English which was very helpful for us. My friend and I bought 2 40cm margarita pizzas which were very large and we could have done with only 1. We ate the second one for our lunch which was equally as tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant for take-aways as the wait time was not too long and most certainly worth it.

Just go there! Best Italian food in France! It was delicious!!! The service was excellent and the ambiance very enjoyable. We tried the pizza and it was superb! , i had the truffle pasta with shaved parmsean cheese... it was a dream! My daughter had the pasta carbonara and it was amazing! My husband had the lasagna bolognesa and it was as good as in Italy! Food is 100% authentic because the owner is Italian. We had the pleasure to meet his mom, Lidia, the most gorgeous and sweet lady! We will have to return to Fontainebleau just to eat at the Antica trattoria!!! Don't think twice and come for one of your best meals of your trip! PS: we had tiramisu and panna cotta with berry coulis for dessert... did I already say delicious???

Maybe we were just very hungry, but this place has the best pasta I've ever had. The truffle pasta was beyond. My husbands tagliatelle Bolognese was also great. Please come here and thank me later!

Delicious food and quant atmosphere indoors or out! Friendly owner always makes you feel at home! I recommend this place highly!

The food was surprisingly good here. I had no expectations for a random italian restaurant in a touristy area, but alas, we were hungry, most places were closed at 2pm, the sun shining and they had a place for us on the terrace. We ordered a pizza and a pasta and then dessert. I asked if the clam pasta was a white or a red sauce and the server said white, but when it came, it was a red sauce. Thankfully the food was good so no complaints. My friend and I each ordered a dessert of caramel panna cotta but we kept eyeing everyone else's giant delicious desserts. After pizza, pasta, 2x panna cotta, class of wine, coffee, capuccino - the total was approximately 45 EUR. Not cheap, but enjoyable!

This is a VERY busy restaurant right in the center of Fontainebleau. Don't come here if you want a cosy intimate dinner. If you like to be at elbow's width of the next table, this place is for you ;) We were in the mood for pasta, so we went to the first Italian restaurant we could find. We didn't have very high expectations. We were very quickly served by a very capable waitress. It's always nice to see a friendly face who knows the dishes by heart. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was excellent. All in all a very good experience. This place is ideal for a quick lunch or diner.

We had dinner at Antica Trattoria. It has a nice Italian menu and the waiters were very nice. The dishes were tasty and we didn't have to wait very long. The location is very nice in the city center of Fontainebleau, around the corner from the big carousel.
