Antico Caffè Candia

Staff were friendly and amazing. Pistachio croissant and cappuccino were great. This place is fire to come and grab a quick bite before exploring Vatican City.

A lovely corner cafe with seating outside. This was our local cafe when staying in Rome and was always our first stop of the day. The friendly and helpful staff always welcomed us with a smile and didn't laugh when we tried to converse in Italian! Offering help and translation when required. Would highly recommend the chocolate croissant and a large cappuccino to start your day. Coffee was rich and smooth whilst the croissants were big, light and fluffy pastries, filled with sweet creamy fillings. Freshly made foccacia sandwiches were available and looked delicious however we never got the opportunity to try them.

Nice cafe where you can get wonderful pastries in the morning. Convenient place to stop with fast service.

The service is great, the cappuccino was delicious and had a fresh squeeze orange juice. The food was really good. Wish we would of found this a day earlier.

This is the place! Sandwiches for lunch are delicious. Cappuccino before your tour - perfect. Such a great little cafe on the corner before a long day in the Vatican museums.

I love this coffee shop! It was located near to the property where I stayed during my visit. They serve lovely coffee and the pastries are to die for! The corneto (croissant) filled with creams were freshly made and tasted great! They also sell lovely sandwiches and all reasonably priced! The staff are hardworking and friendly too. I ended up going there 3 times in a row and already missing them. Thanks for making my coffee experience memorable. I certainly would come back! ☕❤️

Antico caffè was our favourite find in Rome! Their coffee was phenomenal, and their food honestly was the best we had in Rome. If you’re looking for an incredible breakfast, lunch or dessert you NEED to visit Antico caffè. The staff were so accommodating and very friendly. Ps try their pistachio croissants, they’re absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to come back when I visit Rome again!

I visited this corner store awaiting our tour guide and was met with friendly customer service by three employees. This is a very quaint little corner store situated centrally in Rome that appears to be family operated, but nonetheless, the store acquired such a pleasant atmosphere.
