Antico Caffè Spinnato

Loved the place. The atmosphere is amazing. I ordered desserts and some cookies to go. It was nice. During Christmas holidays it was quite busy and the staff was handling it with a nice smile on their face. You can stay there and enjoy ur time while eating some amazing dessert and drinks.

This cafe has been in operation since 1860. Inside, you have a candy store, full cakes, pastries, ice creams, and dessert sections. Outside, there is a large covered patio. We were served by different servers, which caused a long delay when asking for the bill. Coffee was OK and the desserts freshly made and a bit too sweet.

Wanted to visit here as seen on sites, all OK coffee not the best we had in palermo but the cocktails were good. Had really tasty gellato.

The only reason i started to drink espresso. Combination with the dark chocolate was a genius idea. I wanna go back and buy coffee beans and chocolate. The croissants with pistachio was delicious.

Amazing pastry and cafe. Coffee were amazingly delicious. We tried the pistachios coffee for the first time beside our usual espresso and cappuccino orders and so happy we ventured out. The pistachios sauce wasn’t too sweet and so creamy. The strawberry rum cake was yummy. You won’t be dissatisfied picking items on the menu. Pro tips: it’s NOT a fast serving place so budget your time accordingly to sit down and enjoy the ambiance. If you want fast service, go straight to the bar and place and order and drink/eat it right there on the counter.

I had an OK experience at Antico Caffè Spinnato! The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were absolutely amazing – from the delicious cornetto to the mouthwatering brioche. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a delightful coffee and pastry experience! 👍 Negative: VERY slow

Great place for a panini and a snack. Lovely taste and very good prices. The fame of this place is understandable. Really, really great food. The serving took a bit longer than usual, we were always waving at the waiter, he would see us, but never coming. I don’t understand why you just can’t go inside and order yourself faster. But om the other hand, the waiter was very nice. Great location.

The service was shockingly rude—the staff seemed uninterested and dismissive, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. The café also appeared chaotic and lacked any sense of organization, even though the place wasn’t particularly busy. Overall, the entire visit was marked by * disorganization and poor customer service. It’s a shame, as the location seemed promising, but the execution left much to be desired. I cannot recommend this café and suggest finding a more professional and inviting spot for your coffee break.
