The restaurant has a lovely patio which is off a pedestrian only walkway between major traffic areas. There is an old well in the courtyard. Most of the tables are under a large umbrella, most likely custom made for the space.
We had lunch. I ordered the lasagna bolognese. I wasn’t impressed at all. The tiny fragments of ground beef were barely noticeable. Minuscule is the word. The sauce was ok, but not to my taste. It reminded me of Chef Boy-r-Dee from my childhood. I ate less than half. My sister, however, liked the flavor of the sauce.
She ordered the rump steak with rocket salad. That was delicious! Luckily for me she shared her steak and salad with me. My opinion is that the restaurant is good. I just ordered the wrong item. Around me were several tempting looking dishes.
The service was pleasant and efficient. Our waiter spoke excellent English. He said he had lived with an American family for a while.
I would go back - but not order the lasagna.
