It’s an elegant place where you might occasionally spot Milan’s aristocracy and old high society, but rarely a loud, flashy tourist. There’s truly nothing else like it.
The atmosphere is understated yet inviting: bright lighting, no background music, classic Italian furnishings, and simple fresh roses. It subtly reminds you to set aside any pretenses and focus on what matters most here—the food.
There were two of us on a Monday evening, and the restaurant was nearly fully booked. We started with the Veal pâté, followed by Ossobuco and risotto alla milanese - the best we’ve had in three years in Milan. The Spaghetti alle vongole, revisited with asparagus, was a delightful spring accent.
And then, the desserts.
Normally, I’d choose another glass of wine over sweets, but that night, I gave in: Tarte Tatin with gelato alla crema, Affogato di zabaione with marron glacé gelato, and Gelato alla crema with wild berries.
Of course, the wine selection is more than enough to satisfy any taste, with over 240 labels from top wineries across Italy.
The service? Impeccable—nothing more to add, except the charisma of the owner, Marco.
