Had a lovely time! We reserved a table for 4:30 and discovered we were there for their “anti hour” so we ordered several appetizers and mocktails (and one cocktail). The peach slush was my favourite, and was recommended by our server. The patio was perfect despite the wind trying to blow things over. The prawns were our favourite appy. I will definitely be back!!

The cocktails are original, beautifully presented and delicious, and, even though this is a distillery, they also have a very respectable selection of mocktails on offer. We came in for their “Anti-Hour” and were also impressed with the food on offer. We especially enjoyed the taco, the burger and the mango prawns. Service was extremely personable and professional, and the restaurant and patio have a nice ambience.

Antidote never disappoints. The staff are amazing. I’ve had the pleasure of having Matt serve us on several occasions. He’s funny, knows his stuff and always has great recommendations. The food is delicious and beautiful. The kitchen staff are artists! The drinks are fun and tasty (both with and without alcohol). Highly recommend

Intention. A word that always comes up for me when we go out to eat, whether it’s casual or fine-dining or even just a snack on the side of the road— intention is everything and I find it lacking a lot in the restaurant world. Last night Antidote proved that intention is alive and well… from our beautiful dinner, to the hand crafted cocktails and warm service… no detail was missed. Everything was delicious and we also loved the customizations you can make in terms of your spirit of choice. Antidote is for lovers of really beautiful spirits who enjoy a play on flavors and those that never take for granted, the power of a good detail.

I'm going to say something nice . I had the most amazing dinner and drinks at the Antidote distillery last night. The food was fresh and delicious . The service was excellent and the atmosphere is well above most Alberni joints. One thing I would really like to point out is the price . The price for what you get was very reasonable. 22 bucks for a massive bowl of seafood fettuccine a bunch of mussels , salmon and prawns. And focaccia bread too! I'm writing this because there also was hardly anyone in there on a Saturday night! So change it up for a once folks! Try out Antidote!

Really cute little spot with some really tasty drinks. The seafood pasta was amazing and the staff were super friendly. It is a louder, tight and tiny spot, but their gin was something worth trying.

Super impressed! The cocktails were amazing and so thoughtfully crafted! The food was delish and the presentation was beautiful. We had the tartare, bruschetta, and tuna poke bowl. Will definitely be coming back!

I was visiting Port Alberni and wanted to check out something new with a group of friends. Decided to try out Antidote. I had an exceptional experience at this cocktail bar! Their black gin was truly amazing (my favourite was The Antidote) and the food surpassed my expectations. The attention to detail in presentation from cutlery to bar ware, was spot on. The cleanliness and individualized touch in all three bathrooms were impressive. The service was excellent, making my visit truly enjoyable. My only regret was not taking more photos! A definite 5-star rating!
