Antigonish Evergreen Inn

This was a last minute booking - the afternoon of our stay! We were provided with a wonderful room, with probably the largest bathroom space I had seen in awhile! The manager was very helpful. Beds were very comfortable. There were ample parking spaces available. A very nice breakfast was provided in the morning. Would most definitely stay here again.

Frankly, one of the warmest and friendliest people I've met and the coziest place I've stayed in a very long time. The owners Rick and Linda and their daughter Christy made my 9 days stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was home made and fresh and delicious (amazing blueberry scones) and enjoyed daily with a good dose of conversation from the owners and the other guests too. The room was cozy with very comfortable and clean beds. Fully equipped kitchenette with a stove, microwave, kettle, mini fridge, cooking utensils and dinnerware. A laundromat was also available on-site for use by the guests. The bathroom was clean and all amenities were present as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The compound of the inn was well maintained and beautifully landscaped and since it was around a km from downtown Antigonish, the air was crisp, fresh and clean. Lovely Inn! From the moment we entered our room, we were quite happy we had chosen this property. The room was immaculate and had all the comforts of home. I had the best night's sleep as bed and linens were so comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with home made goodies. I definitely would recommend staying here if you are in or near to Antigonish!

This inn is fantastic. So comfy, rustic, and quiet. Has all the amenities you may need to cook. Wonderful desks for work, comfy beds, easy-to-use heat/air conditioning, and a spacious bathroom with bath tub. There's even a dog to greet you! Can't wait to come back!

Great reception from the owner, her little man and Teddy. The room was clean, smelled great as soon as we entered and we were delightfully surprised at all of the small details and caring touches the owner put into the room to provide 5 star amenities. So difficult to describe how the wreath on the front door of each suite, the wonderful sailboat fold in the toilet paper and the decor of the room made us feel like this is warmth infused hospitality and it made us feel like our business was valued. We would definitely stay here again - this was far beyond our expectations!

Hubby and I stayed one night at the Antigonish Evergreen Inn and had a lovely stay. This is a hotel with so much charm and character. I agree with the other great reviews about the touches that the owner has thought about — even cleaning wipes in the room for use in wiping down upon arrival, which I do everywhere we go. The room was so clean! That evening, a meteor shower was forecast, but I must have had the time wrong and didn’t see anything. However, the cat and dark night sky allowed me to enjoy constellations like never before, so my setting of the alarm was not in vain. Breakfast was just right with those famous blueberry scones along with a porridge bar with toppings, and yogurt and cereal. This is a great find during our road trip, and I highly recommend the inn for your stay.

It is a very clean Inn and the owners are nice persons. We arrived late, but they left us the key and the instructions in the mailbox, so we checked-in without trouble. The beds were cozy and everything was taken great care to make us comfortable. Definitely a great place to stay. The breakfast is included in the price and I found it to be frugal.
