Awesome beaches and friendly cab drivers - treat them well and they will treat you like royalty

Fantastic Beaches and Coastline… for us we were shocked by the condition of the roads on the island, it’s like driving through poverty and third world villages… where do all the tourist dollars go? An expensive island but the quality doesn’t justify it! I have to say based on the expensive and high end reputation the reality is much different. We will not be returning.

No sidewalks and road is crappy. Port area is fine but outside it’s dirty and lots of litter. St James beach and the fort is full of litter. They should maintain it since the island rely on tourism.

Antigua is hands down the prettiest island in the world with 365 beaches—one for every day of the year! I highly recommend everyone come visit; once you’re here, you won’t want to leave.

If you are going for a beach vacation, this is your place. IDK why others are whining about the road conditions, or the poverty. They are certainly real, but I didn't come to walk around a third world town. My husband and I have a long list of places we want to visit, before going back somewhere we have been. This is the only place we would make an exception and go back soon. Perfect water, perfect beaches!

7th visit. Beaches are plentiful, clean and quiet. People are friendly. Lots of great dining around the island. Lots to do - hiking, reef fishing, swimming with stingrays, lots of historical forts etc.

Great island and Heminway's is a must stop downtown. Friendly people and great waterfront vibe at the cruise harbor.

Beautiful island with 365 beaches one for every day of the year but the beach is just the beginning. So many adventures just waiting to happen. Rich culture and scenery you'll never forget. Best time to visit is every day of the year.
