Beautiful island. Lots of friendly people and sites to visit. It boast of it's 365 beaches. A beach for a calendar day. It is one of the highest pay in the Eastern Caribbean but that comes with one of the islands with the highest standard of living. It has alot of regional neighbors living and working on this piece of rock.

Pretty beaches but very undeveloped country. Not to everyone’s liking. Expect poverty and disrepair even in the finest establishments. Extremely expensive for what one gets. There are so many other countries that offer more for your money. Even the most expensive European countries are cheaper than this third world country. There must be tons of money they get from tourism but obviously the money goes into the elites and politicians pockets. The corruption here is so visible. Roads are mostly in bad condition. I spent a week in Antigua and rented a car. Car rental was 500 EUR / week. Stayed in two hotels: Royalton and Admiral’s Inn in English Harbour. The hotel prices are ridiculously expensive for what you get. Royalton was close to 500 EUR / night for a 3 star all-inclusive resort and the Admiral’s Inn 350 EUR / night. In the latter you get the tiniest room that would elsewhere be a 1 star B&B. The grounds are pretty and location nice but surely not worth 350 EUR / night. Divide all the rates by 3 and you get the true value for your money. One piece of advice: ATMs are located in only a few places. There are several in St. John’s and one in Jolly Harbour. Elsewhere you have hard time finding one (that works).

7th visit. Beaches are plentiful, clean and quiet. People are friendly. Lots of great dining around the island. Lots to do - hiking, reef fishing, swimming with stingrays, lots of historical forts etc.

One of the most beautiful places for sun, sea, sand and a wonderful mix of people. Variety of tourists with activities to sort everyone. Local people are the best, when it comes to friendliness andhelpfulness. A must see place for anyone who likes the tropical.

This island is so beautiful, the beaches have the most amazing turquoise water and temperature is perfect . We loved our stay in Blue Waters hotel, dinner at South Point in the English Harbor and the boat tour around the island!! Definitely recommend

Some nice spots, but such proverty and many desperate people. Too many hawkers hassling the tourists. Didn't care for that, we won't comeback.

What can I say? This island holds some of the most enchanting views and beaches. If interested in visiting, please make sure to pay a visit to: Shirley Heights, Fort Berkeley, Fort James, Half Mood Bay, Nelson Dockyard, English Harbour, Pigeon Beach, Darkwood beach, Fryer's Beach, Donkey Sanctuary, Jolly Harbour, South Point Resturant, The Larder Restaurant, Saint Johns downtown on Fridays, and last but not least; must try the vegetables ROTI! You will have fallen in love with those places before you know it. Make sure to bargain prices with locals, be kind to people on the island, they will be kind to you in return. Don't forget to drive on the appropriate side of the road. Roads are not very developed, entirely, but you'll be fine! Enjoy!
