We loved this place. Very very very clean. Perfect location, but most important is the owner and his family that take care of us. Most pleasant you can ask for. Dinner was home made italian pasta made to perfection. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended. We really enjoyed the place. It’s very hard to find a good place to stay in this area. Thanks 🙏

This small hotel is in a heavily restored wooden building nicely in keeping with the rest of the town. The interior woodwork is all new ( except for some old pillars in the restaurant, evidently from another building) and nicely varnished. One room ,roped off,has a fine display for the serious fly fisherman.Elsewhere ,the decor is an elaborate mixture of local relics( ice-box) and items from interior furnishers which I recognise from UK hotels.| We had a top (attic) floor room which was pleasant, but very dark and without available power sockets. Two beds, rather than three, would have been a big improvement- but they were good beds with proper sheets and blankets, not just a duvet. At night it was quiet, without creaks. There was a large fan ;very useful on a warm night if you can find somewhere to plug it in.| The small bathroom pleased me by having a bathtub, although I would have preferred the toilet cistern to have been repaired during my two night stay.A cold wet hand becomes tiresome after multiple times .| We had breakfasts and one evening meal.My wife had an Italian dish;I had “ estofado”.The Italian dish had a very poor tasteless Bolognese sauce of bad texture, apparently reheated. My stew had been around for a long while, also. The promoted Chilean wine( Castillero de Diablo) is one commonly found in the UK,and is NOT typical of the otherwise very good Chilean wines we had elsewhere.Breakfast is in the B&B style, with individual tables laid with a fixed elaborate set of dishes- no choices.| I can recommend the hotel, but would advise that better meals, both breakfast and dinner, can be found within a few yards.Bring your own bath plug.

Amazing restaurant, they have a handful of dishes but they are all very good. Italian family that runs the place. The atmosphere is very good as well. Would definitely come again here for pasta when in town.

I was extremely surprised to find a pub and restaurant that look to be straight out of Old Europe. The room and bathroom were both of good size. The food was also quite good. I happily recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Silvano and his family are warm and inviting hosts and his Italian culinary skill is unsurpassed -- we absolutely loved every meal we had here! Try his mushroom sauces on his homemade pasta. Just fabulous! Our upstairs room was clean, quiet and comfortable and had a nice shower. Great location on the plaza andik inside is a super-fun ecclectic collection of handcrafted items like model ships and airplanes, clocks, antique furniture and odd collectibles. Most are ones that Silvano has restored or crafted with his own hands. Go for the amazing pasta, but enjoy the oddities and art!

😊: Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice having restaurant downstairs and it is a must try. Excellent Italian food!! Location right on the square in town and easy to walk to everything. Clean and comfortable.. 😢: It’s an old historic building so it was a bit noisy with thin walls and clueless other guests (motorcycle tourists from unnamed European country).

La Antigua Casona in Futaleufú: A Traveler’s Oasis||Address: Manuel Rodriguez 215, 5870000 Futaleufu, Los Lagos, Chile||Stepping into La Antigua Casona feels like coming home. This historic wooden house, built nearly 90 years ago, blends the charm of its pioneer past with the comfort every traveler craves. Perfectly located in the heart of Futaleufú, it offers breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, and pristine forests, making it an ideal base for adventures like rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, or simply exploring the Patagonian wilderness.||After a day of adventure, returning to La Antigua Casona is a delight. The craft beer, exquisite food, and warm atmosphere make it more than a stop—it’s a sanctuary. For a world traveler like me, it’s the perfect place to pause, recharge, and savor both nature and hospitality.

Best pasta I have ever taste, owners originaly from Itali. Restaurant and Hotel is for sure one of the best places in Futaleufú. Waiter and Cooker are from the same family and owners of the place, one of the best services I have ever experienced in Chile.
