This hotel is in the small town of Tornavacas in the Jerte Valley. The address listed on trip advisor says it is in Cáceres. It is in the PROVINCE of Cáceres, but it is in the TOWN of Tornavacas, about 90 minutes north of the CITY of Cáceres. The owners of this small Bed and Breakfast (five rooms) are really great people. The breakfast was wonderful. We ate supper there too and it was very good and the price was quite reasonable. The rooms are not the most well-appointed, but they are clean and quiet. The Jerte Valley is beautiful (even in the rain). The cherry blossoms in the Spring are lovely and the waterfalls all over the valley are so beautiful and this is a nice place to stay while you explore.

The Valley of the Jerte is an area of outstanding beauty, mainly frequented by Spanish tourists. The bed and breakfast is tucked away in a village street full of 17th and 18th century stone houses and passing by on the main valley road above it would be easy to miss this ancient village entirely. The bedrooms and indeed the entire house are furnished with exceptional good taste and the warm and friendly owners cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and consists of a selection of home-made local dishes. It would be impossible to do justice to all of them.||||For lovers of outdoor activities in a mountainous region and buildings oozing with history, this very reasonably priced accommodation cannot be faulted.

We visited here in April and had a wonderful time. Inma and Miguel, the owners, put a lot of love into running this place and it really shows.|The room was lovely, extremely clean and it was evident that a lot of thought was put to pampering guests.|Both dinner and breakfast were extraordinary, and we also received lots of great recommendations on things to do in the area.|Highly recommended, we'll definitively come back!

We’re making a trip through Spain for three months so we are visiting a lot of hotels and casas rurales. Antigua Posada will definitely make it to our top 5 list and maybe even top 3! (We haven’t finished our trip yet.) Thanks to the incredibly nice and welcoming hosts Miguel & Inma (they’re in the first picture). But also to the cozy and very nicely decorated rooms, the comfortable bed and the great food prepared by Inma and served with love by Miguel. The breakfast was also very good and extensive with fresh fruit, cheese, ham, toasted bread and homemade sweets. This is a hotel with heart and soul. Very recommended!

A must-visit in the Valle del Jerte. Owners Inma and Miguel will explain everything you need to know about the region: from lookouts to long hikes. Their B&B was very comfortable: the bed was great and the room was cozy. And also their food was fabulous: have dinner there and ask for Miguel's homemade wine. All in all, highly recommended.
