Dal lungomare salendo per il castello inaspettatamente si incontra questo museo ricavato dall’acquartieramento dei soldati spagnoli a difesa della fortezza. Questo lungo fabbricato tagliava l’istmo da un mare all’altro strategicamente disposta. I reperti conservati sono essenzialmente provenienti da sepolture e testimoniano una presenza umana già a partire da 2 mille no prima di Cristo. Si susseguono in stanze successive reperti greci e romani di notevole bellezza e sistemati in modo chiaro. Complimenti per il restauro della struttura e per i reperti
