I highly recommend using Sheryl and Antiques on Magnolia. My family and I were faced with the emptying and sale of our dear aunt's residence of almost 60 years after she passed, and we didn't know where to start. The house was full of precious items, things to discard, years of memories, hundreds of questions we had and the ultimate goal to get it on the market quickly to sell. Sheryl came in and immediately took charge. Her knowledge of the items inside was impressive and showed her expertise in this business. We could see this was the answer to what we needed and it felt as if a HUGE burden was lifted off of our shoulders that would have taken us the rest of the year to do and who knows how we would have done it all? Sheryl scheduled our estate sale quickly and her amazing staff went to work in record time to organize, assess and run a most incredible estate sale. She kept in communication along the way and answered any questions we had. The marketing of the sale was off the charts with creative and inventive videos across social media that ultimately brough over 1000 people to the sale. AOM worked with the city for all permits needed and handled the weekend beautifully. At the end of the day, the estate made some money with an additional tax write-off as a wonderful charitable organization received remaining donations, and the house was left sparkling clean and completely EMPTY, ready for sale. If you are thinking of running your own estate sale, think twice and consider everything you would have to personally do to replicate a scenario like this. First, do you have the time, knowledge and people support to go through hundreds or thousands of items in your loved one's home to price and then sell? How do you get the word out? These estate sales are always incredible, but the vintage clothing section is where the magic happens. It’s legit huge and full of actually good stuff. Also, there a lady who works there…I think her name is Rachel? Anyways, she’s a whole vibe. She somehow becomes your personal stylist and pulls things you didn’t know you needed. Girl knows her vintage. I want her to be my cool aunt.

Museum quality antiques. The last time I was there was overwhelming not because of anything unpleasant. Quite the opposite. Each item evoked a dream like state oscillating between the past and the future. Amazing antique furniture. Not just vintage. Excellent selection of porcelain ware, jewelry and art. The owner/buyer has an excellent eye for antiques and staffing. Kind. Knowledgeable and willing to ask. Owner on standby. Much patience and expertise. Much appreciated.

I went to estate sale ran by this company. Their items were well arranged for the consumer to find what they were looking for. Unfortunately not only was I greeted rudely because I didn't sign in, only my boyfriend did. I decided not to mention it's hard for me to write with essential tremors and felt teary that I annoyed the greeter and she made a rude remark. When we went in my boyfriend simply asked a price of some jewelry and if it would possibly go down in price the subsequent days the lady behind the counter was not friendly and kept explaining how she could get so much more money at auction etc, etc. A simple no Im so sorry would have sufficed. Regardless of the lack of kindness we received they seemed to be run well and had a plethora of things to sell. Edit: Thank you for your reply Sheryl, I understand the security and it's unfortunate that their are people who have had to make you do so. When I couldn't sign in and was approached in an underhanded comment it's because I have a disability and was embarrassed and teary. It happened to be one of the few days I felt well enough to go out.

I messaged Sheryl to try to evaluate a table I own and she was very responsive and trying to help guide me. That's the only interaction I have had so far with her business and I have yet to go visit in person :)

I called Sheryl to discuss some bronze castings we were trying to get a valuation on. During our call, I mentioned that I was working to finalize a sale through Facebook Marketplace. As I described the deal, including payment by check with "extra" to pay the moving company, she jumped into action saying, "It's a scam, don't do it!". She explained how the scam works and why so many people are taken in by it. She recommended calling the police, which I did, and I was forwarded to the local fraud hotline. The officer verified it was a scam, and mentioned that I was not the only one. They (police) are following it up with their counterparts across the country to hopefully stop it from happening to others. Thank you Sheryl! You're my hero!

This store has some beautiful antique pieces. The salesperson Joshua is definitely an asset to this wonderful place. He was very helpful professional, knowledgeable, courteous and polite. This is a place you can enjoy taking your time to look without the pressure of some pushy salesperson. I will definitely be going back. There are some unique and lovely pieces of furniture, art , lamps, crystals, jewelry, mirrors etc

Thank you Sheryl for your professionalism & expertise. I sold them my grandpa's old antique mahogany dresser & they gave me a really good price for it. They offered and paid me 3 times more than another shop I went to in the area.

Owner was super helpful. I had a table I wanted to know if it was worth anything. She had me send her photos and she gave me an awesome follow up call and even told me how I could post it on marketplace. She even told me the worth and how to write it up on the description. She went above and beyond. I will definitely go to her in the future for all antique things.

Love this spot. They have the best antique & jewelry finds! I pop in every few months to check out their ever changing selection. Lo0ts of cool art pieces circle in & out. Things move fast though so you have to be ready to buy or have regret! The staff is kind, talkative, friendly & helpful & helped me shop when I needed help & knew when I wanted to be left alone to browse.

Sheryl and her team were absolutely amazing at handling all aspects of the estate sale process. My family lived in the same house for 55 years and collected a lot of "stuff" during that time frame. Sheryl and her team went through everything in the house to determine what could be sold at an estate sale, what should be donated, and what had lived its useful life and was ready to be tossed. Something that is very hard to do when it is your own family's items. They also handled this process with much empathy and even called me a few times when they came across items they thought I might want to keep such as family photos and my mom's ashes. Sheryl's team also did an excellent job cleaning the house, garage, and yard from top to bottom, which was no easy task. Cleaning out and selling the family home can be a very emotional process and I found the personal touch that Sheryl and her team provided to be extremely comforting. Throughout the process Sheryl kept me informed with how things were progressing. Her team also did an excellent job ensuring the yard (plants and pool) were well cared for while they were on site. I especially liked that someone remains in the house 24x7 for security purposes. Sheryl does an excellent job advertising the estate sale through multiple avenues and provides substantial detail and photos of the items for sale to attract buyers. She also has a large following of people that come to all of her estate sales, which is an added bonus. I was amazed at how many people came to the sale. I can't say enough about the exceptional service Sheryl and her team provided. They were truly wonderful, and I am deeply grateful that I hired Sheryl and the team at Antiques on Magnolia to handle my estate sale.

What a great selection! I stop by whenever I'm on Magnolia. I had been eyeing a piece for YEARS, and finally mustered up the courage to make the buy. The man behind the counter, Josh, was super helpful! He made the purchase of a hanging lamp way less daunting. I had it home same day!

I walked into paradise yesterday. I could not believe the amazing items this shop has. I bought a gift for my mother. I wanted more information on what I bought and Josh called the owner, Sheryl and she was able to give me all of the information on the item. I know my mom will love this. Thank you for making this the best Christmas for me and my mom!

This is the best of antique shops in CA or anywhere west of the Mississippi River, in my opinion. Expensive but with a lot of quality items. Would suggest for anyone to go have a look and I don't even own it nor am I related to or a friend of the owners. It's just a more "old school" antique shop! Enjoy!

Today was my first time visiting Antiques On Magnolia and I am left with nothing but a feeling of impressed! As soon as I walked in, a gentleman in a hat greeted me and his style was well matched to his demeanor....thoughtful and poised! He asked me if I was looking for anything specific, and I told him it was my first time. He encouraged me to look around and to ask if I had any questions. When I did have questions, he was attentive, knowledgeable and you could tell he enjoys his job! The level of curation in this shop is truly special and it left me curious about every piece I saw! I wished I had had more time to take it all in! If you're a lover of vintage and antiques, this is an absolute must see! I'm excited to return to see what's new and what I possibly missed!

I love how this place has transformed in the last year or so. The vibe is so incredibly awesome and anywhere you turn there's something to look at. There was a gentleman working when I was there and he had inquired if there was anything specific I was hunting for. I left with an amazing French painting, and there's some gothic pieces they have I'm saving up for. If you want a place that's actually curated, this is the place to go. It had it all here, the looks, the vibe, the energy. We'll definitely be back.

We brought some family heirlooms into the shop for Sheryl to sell. She was friendly, knowledgeable and gave us advice that put our interests first. It's rare that you can get this kind of advice and honesty.

I hate to utilize an already overused word but, Sheryl is totally awesome! My mother passed away in January and we had a 2,800 sq ft home loaded with everything she owned, bought and/or collected for her entire life. We were completely overwhelmed as to how we were doing to liquidate everything and still make time to grieve. Sheryl took care of everything. I do mean everything! She organized and ran an estate sale for us for three days. She and her staff had the painstaking chore of cleaning out drawers, closets, etc. They sold what was sellable, donated what wasn't and trashed the leftovers.... of course, after we had gone and taken everything we wanted to keep. She spent almost 3 weeks just preparing the house to be sure we got the most money we possibly could. After the sale, she made sure the house was empty and recommended a cleaning service to clean from floor to ceiling. It would have taken us many months to accomplish what she did in less than one. To say I highly recommend her is an understatement. She knows her stuff, for sure and you won't regret a single second of dealing with her. Sheryl treats you like family and goes above an beyond.

Cheryl and all the staff at Antiques are wonderful! I was so stressed about what to do with my moms, all of which was in extremely good condition. And trust me there was a lot! Cheryl came and boxed it all up. Labeled it and set it up at different estate sales. I was so happy not to have to handle any of that- She is a wonderful person and easy to talk to. Kept me posted on everything and very prompt! I plan on having her take care my next in need .. (Actually , the whole staff deserves way more than a 5) I've actually seen them transform a mess of a house into a beautiful showcase!

Stumbled on this gem of a place while window shopping. My fiancé and I were instantly impressed by the carefully curated selection of antiques. It's so refreshing to walk into an antique store and not feel overwhelmed with having to search or hunt for the perfect piece. We ended up going back a week later and fell in love with a Jules Chéret piece for our 12' wall. We owe it to Joshua and Sheryl for their help, for answering our questions, and helping us arrange delivery... we finally have the perfect piece in our home!

I came here once and ended up cleaning a lot of the store out! Been buying very special and selective antiques to decorate an ornament my turn-of-the-century banquet hall Trophy Room. Cheryl and Josh have been wonderful to work with, been very reasonable, and I enjoy going back to nurture my new love of antiquing.

Cool shop, nice selection of antiques. They didn't quite have what I was looking for this time around, but the guy with the peaky blinders hat answered all of my questions. He really took the time to make me feel welcome and I will certainly be back when I'm in town thanks to his excellent customer service

Antiques On Magnolia are life savers! They cleaned out an elderly relative's home and it was no simple task! It was owed by a hoarder who lived in the house for 38 years. They hauled away all of the junk and saved the valuables to sell in an estate sale. Sheryl let me know step by step what they were doing and sent photos of the progress they were making each day. They worked diligently and quickly. It was a weight lifted off of my shoulders knowing they were taking care of things and it was one less thing I had to worry about in preparation to sell the home. I highly recommend using Antiques On Magnolia if you need help clearing out a home and having someone know exactly what is worth selling and what needs to be tossed.

The best friends and greatest minds eye for a treasure, their estate sales are put together with care and the owners property is respected and the prices are negotiable and honest. Life is not a bargain but Sheryl's treasures many times a find and unusual. I have also had several items on consignment as well and when an artist isn't known Sheryl has a good eye for value and she will tell you about a piece and it's known history. In her store the jewelry is unique like her clients My husband and I are proud to have known Sheryl and her family for over 30 years and we still haven't parted with our found treasures as they have never lost their value and beauty. I have only words of praise and gratitude for Antiques On Magnolia. My mother passed away a few years ago - in her estate - was the most beautiful collection of 50's and 60's vintage clothing. All in perfect condition. I was at a loss as to how to honor my mother's collection and pass it on to someone who would appreciate its style and quality - and was a size 4 to 6. My wish came true when I found Sheryl's name in an article in the LA Times. She handled my mother's collection with respect and care. As soon as she arrived at my home - I knew she was the right person. I could not let anyone else do this for me and she exceeded my expectations on the sale. Sheryl and Jason's shop Antiques on Magnolia is one of the best stores in Burbank. She really knows her stuff and they are one of the nicest and funniest store owners I've ever met. They got a good variety of items and you can literally spend hours looking at all their things. The store is clean and since Covid hit, they make sure to follow the state's safety guidelines. Highly recommend this mom & pop shop!!!

I don't know what my family would have done without Sheryl and her team. My grandmother died at the age of 104 and had many many things that she had collected or been given by older families and she did not like to throw anything away! Sheryl made the sale of her treasures very easy and painless. And the house was completely empty when she was done. She also offered to meet at her external space to go through clothing and handbags and who knows what other amazing goodies she has in there! I ended up deciding on a gorgeous pair of earrings that my friend loved. I will definitely be shopping here for my vintage needs. Again, Sheryl is awesome.

We chose Sheryl to handle my mom's estate sale and house clean out after seeing good reviews on Yelp, and were very glad we did. She was easy to work with, very clear about what services she and her staff would provide and what the charges would be, and inspired confidence with her experience of what would and wouldn't sell. She explained that she wouldn't take on our stuff unless she knew we could both make money. We left everything to her and her staff and they did an outstanding job. She publicized the sale and managed it, then arranged for a dumpster and left the house and garage cleared and clean. Finally, she provided detailed accounting of the sale. We're happy that she saved us so much work and made money for us!

Sheryl was so sweet and helpful! We are casual antique-ers who love to collect and browse and she was so happy to show us around, talk to us about collecting, and even cleaned a ring in the case I was looking at so I could see it shine. And she cleaned my personal ring for me while she was at it. Such a sweetheart! We will definitely be back!! 10/10 definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for something hard to find. WOW!, I must start out with. Well worth the in-home consult/appraisal we got from Sheryl. We have had some old books and paintings around the house in the attic and basement for 50 years. We got a referral to Antiques on Magnolia from my daughter. Now we know what to do, and not do with the books and paintings we have. Can't wait to call her back when we are ready to have the coins and stamp collections looked into. The best referential starting point for all your questions. Very knowledgeable.

Yikes. The owner is a nightmare to deal with. Extremely abrasive and unprofessional. I've never dealt with her estate sales, so that could be a different story, but the shop just isn't it. Maybe with better management it could be really great.

I was selling my house with 40 years of belongings and moving to a smaller house. I didn't need any of my furniture or belongings and was at a loss as to how dispose of it so the house would be ready for the new owner. To the rescue came Sheryl! She immediately took charge of the situation and set up an estate sale. She was forthright from the beginning and through the whole process, giving me the benefit of her years of experience. More than an Antique Store, AoM does Estate Sales, too!!! - At the end of 2017 my Father passed away and I was tasked with liquidating his Assets that he and my Mother accumulated over 40+ years of Marriage. After being turned down by several Estate/Auction Houses, I was contacted by Sheryl and she even wanted to meet in person!!! Personable and approachable, Sheryl won me over and I agreed to have her and her team manage my Father's Estate Sale. Sheryl went over their entire process and provided me with assurances that this would be a seamless and turnkey operation. After determining the actual Estate Sale date with Sheryl, I gladly handed over the keys to the house for her team to "prep" the contents for sale. Sheryl encouraged me to drop by the day of the Sale and see how they transformed the house, it was amazing to say the least!!! I knew I made the right decision to Sheryl and her team manage this process. After the Sale concluded, her team did and excellent job clearing out and tidying up the house for our Realtor. They left no trace that they were there. Within a few days, I received the check from the proceeds and a Bill of Sale for the items sold.
