Antlers on the Creek was recommended by my son and daughter-in-law. We did not know ownership had changed. It was a getaway for my husband and me after a rough Summer of medical treatment. The location was beautiful, the rooms were so comfortable and plush. The first night happy hour was a great start; we met other guests and struck up good conversations. Breakfasts were delicious and so well presented. Desiree was wonderful and made us feel so at home. To make the stay even more special, Susan, the owner, gifted me a walking stick that made getting around easier. What a gem in so many ways.|Darlene & Joe

Amazing. 5 star all around. Beautiful setting and well appointed rooms and features. Breakfast from the chef each morning was delicious and happy hour each night with local wine and custom appetizers- fresh and local. About 5-10 minute drive into Durango each night for dinner. Just what I was hoping for - quaint and great ambiance. The owner and chef are both very welcoming. Highly recommend. I forgot to take more pictures but the website showcases it nicer than I could.

Stunning retreat place to relax and regroup. Great place for a celebration of birthday or anniversary. Superior service, comfortable beds, and fabulous amenities. The place offers delicious baked goods, gourmet appetizers with happy hour, and mouth watering breakfasts with fresh ground coffee/lattes of choice. Stunning views, spacious rooms, quiet, large bathrooms. A destination place we will frequently visit. Away from town but nearby. Perfect escape.

We had the most amazing time at Antlers on the Creek. We were met by Desiree and then the owner Karen. From the time we arrived to the last goodbye, we felt like we had met great friends for the weekend. Karen was friendly, engaging and met all of our needs. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again. Not only was the stay superb, we gained a new friend with Karen.

My wife and I wanted to get away and explore the Durango, Colorado area. We wanted someplace quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but within a short drive to downtown. Antlers On the Creek, exceeded our expectations. The bed and breakfast is located in a very quiet area, with a beautifully landscaped yard. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was updated with all the creature comforts.||The staff made us feel at home and welcomed. Britany was friendly and engaging. The evening happy hour gave us a chance to meet other couples and share our experiences of the day. We were treated each morning to a gourmet breakfast. ||When, not if, we return to Durango we will stay at Antlers On The Creek.

Paradise. Fantastic breakfasts! Elegant hors-d'oeuvres and drinks, including local wine, at happy hour. We soaked in the outdoor jacuzzi. We saw turkeys and woodpeckers off the back by the creek. We slept in the quiet of nature on comfortable beds and fabulous pillows. Town was a short drive away and other guests went out to dinner in town, but we brought to-go from 11 Street Station and enjoyed our own picnic using the Inn's microwave. The staff were enjoyable and hospitable. We stored our bikes in the barn/garage. They even sent my left-behind robe which arrived before we even got home!

Magically wonderful and the interior decorations are next par. Some of the best breakfast my husband and I have ever had. Truly enjoyed our stay. The only reason I put one star less is due to the thiness of the walls....should probably make a little more sound proof. It other than that suberb

Kristi at Antlers on the Creek was so wonderful when greeting us and sharing happy hour. The breakfast was delicious, they accommodated vegetarian requests (I suggest the breakfast in bed option), and the views are priceless. Definitely looking forward to returning. Thank you Karen and Pixie!!

Yelp
My wife and I spent three nights in this gem. We couldn't have asked for more comfortable accommodations. The room was exceptionally clean and the renovated bathroom came with all the features you would expect in a five star hotel. The heated bathroom floor was an unexpected feature. We were treated to a gourmet breakfast each morning and the evening happy hour gave us a chance to meet other guests. The B&B is located a short drive from the center of downtown Durango but far enough away where you feel you are in the country. The grounds are well maintained and there are plenty of places to sit and relax.

Yelp
What a gem! Far enough away from Durango to enjoy the frogs at night and birds chirping in the morning, close enough that is less than 10 mins from main street in durango. The property is filled with beautiful flowers and trees. The room was clean and welcoming. The temperature control was perfect and the accommodation for dietary restrictions was much appreciated. This is a thoughtful place where you can feel all the love that has gone into it.

Yelp
Unfortunately they are permanently closed and location is a private residence. Sad to hear as it was a wonderful inn and great service by the lovely staff and Susan the owner.

Yelp
Amazing bed and breakfast and I highly recommend. Very friendly people and very comforting! The breakfast was amazing and everything is made by their own private Chef! The only thing was our fan wasn't working in the room. The bedroom we had was located on the first floor of another building and we were there for our 20th anniversary so we didn't have any children with us. However the top floor did and it sounded like a stampede of elephants above us at 6am every morning which wasn't the owners fault but I would definitely ask what room you will be getting and ask if there will be a family with small children above you lol. To their ability everything else was perfect. I will definitely be back but to a different room. Stunning landscape, very clean inside and out! They even offer happy hour every day at 5 with wonderful drinks and appetizers.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place and will definitely stay here again. After traveling to Durango for years and years we found this place and we were nothing short of pleasantly surprised. Susan and her employees were incredible. Everything from the room to the delicious breakfast was incredible. My now fiancé was able to be in contact with Susan the owner leading up to our trip to make this trip perfect. The room was very clean. The breakfast was undeniably the best we've ever had. And the property was beautifully kept.

Yelp
Excellent in every respect! We spent 4 nights in the Hermosa room and our visit was wonderful from beginning to end. Julia was a huge help for hiking and outdoor recommendations. Curtis made an amazing "breakfast-to-go" each day, since we needed to hit the trails early. Our room had a remodeled bathroom (see photo) and the rest of the room seemed newly painted. There's wine every afternoon and an outdoor hot tub. In all, SO wonderful!

Yelp
Antlers on the creek bed and breakfast is absolutely amazing! We stayed here on our vacation to Durango. It's a short drive out of town, and in fact many locals do not know about it. It's a large house on a beautiful property. Susan, the inn keeper thought of every last detail to make our stay was a memorable one. Let's start with breakfast, homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit, the first day our first course consisted of kiwi and watermelon with a homemade scone. Main course was French toast with fig jam, havarti cheese, ham, topped with a fried egg with grilled asparagus on the side. Second day: first course was grilled pineapple with frozen yogurt and a homemade hazelnut biscotti, main course: yeast waffles with homemade fruit compote and three slices of thick cut delicious bacon. Needless to say, this was a hearty, delicious breakfast that lasted well into the afternoon. In addition to a fabulous breakfast, there are cookies in the afternoon and a happy hour where they serve beer, or margaritas and an appetizer. The first day there was a spinach dip and the second some crackers and spreadable cheese options. Both very tasty. Then there was the room, extremely comfortable bedding, with nice pillows. My husband and I travel with our pillows, as we have a difficult time with other pillows, however we did not need to use our own, and in fact, even purchased a special boomerang shaped pillow from her. Room was spacious with a nice shower, nice bath towels and robes. Because there is a hot tub in the property, the room was also stocked with beach towels. A few nice details included: a basket with toiletries including toothbrushes, toothpaste, q tips, sunscreen, and make up remover wipes, in case you forget something. Also the showers are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Lastly, the day of our departure, Susan made us up a road bag which had bottled waters and cookies for my entire family! She also knew we were heading to Mesa verde national park and provided a map for us. So many nice touches and friendly folks at this B & B, it our favorite part of our vacation. I truly can't say enough about it. Thank you Susan for the lovely time!

Yelp
Wow, I really loved this B and B! The setting is lovely, with beautifully maintained grounds and the babbling stream. My room had all the comforts of home and then some. I ate my fill of complimentary cookies and enjoyed a gourmet, fresh from the kitchen breakfast. Susan, the owner, was a delight to visit with. Actually, every detail was well tended to. I want to go back!

Yelp
Best bed and breakfast I've visited! The staff was very friendly, the grounds, beautiful, and the rooms were top notch. The bed/bedding was incredibly comfortable; it was hard to get up for breakfast! Unfortunately, I got sick during my stay, but the owner was VERY sweet and gave me ginger ale, crackers, water, plus a later check out so I could sleep. I couldn't eat much of the breakfast due to feeling ill, but the bites I had were delicious! Pumpkin French toast with bacon. This place is worth a night's stay. We will definitely return!

Yelp
We just stayed at Antlers for four nights and can't wait to go back. Susan, the owner, has created a haven for the traveler. The rooms are wonderful with any thing you could possibly need, even asking ahead of time what type of pillow you prefer. Curtis, the chef, is creative and talented. Breakfasts are abundant and delicious, with the use of the herbs, veggies from their garden and eggs from their chickens. Karen, the wait person, is not only delightful, but super attentive to your culinary needs. Susan, the owner, is amazingly talented with decorating, organizing, and just fun to be around! We loved the hiking and biking in the area. No evidence of the recent fires to the north except for the touching signs on fences, buildings, and homes thanking the firefighters for saving their town. Highly recommend staying at Antlers for feeling pampered and in a bit of Colorado heaven.

Yelp
My husband and I, along with my parents, spent a few wonderful days at Antlers on the Creek this past August. The house and grounds were beautiful and incredibly relaxing! And the breakfasts... my husband is still raving about them, a few months later!! We really appreciated having an option on our dining times, making it possible to have breakfast and still get to our morning rafting adventure. My only complaint, about the entire stay, was that I never got to meet the resident cats that I'd heard so much about.

Yelp
What an amazing and beautiful experience at this gem. The room was phenomenal and gorgeous. The views and scenery were stunning and only a hop skip and jump away from the door to our room. The staff was so friendly and always willing to help. The best part of it all was the food!! The breakfast was to DIE FOR! Oh my. I wish I could have eaten like that everyday for the rest of my life. the best part was that they were so accommodating to my gluten free diet. It is always a struggle traveling with a restricted diet, but that was not the case here. They even had gluten free tasty baked goods for me. I was very appreciative of them "taking care" of me. The happy hour was also just as delicious and a perfect time to unwind. If you are looking to take a little weekend getaway I would highly recommend trying Antlers! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Hands down the place you want to be!!! Susan is the best and this is the perfect oasis! Trust me this is exactly what you are looking for! Don't waste your time anywhere else. Just perfection!

Yelp
I agree completely with all the kudos that others have expressed. Susan is an innkeeper without rival. I arrived late in the evening from Boston and was very hungry. The inn is nicely tucked away from town (just a short ride, but I had no car yet.) When Susan greeted me, she said "you must be hungry, what would you like?" I asked for a salad and she whipped up a fresh and impressively varied and healthy one while we got to know each other. She then sent me off to my room with my salad. Whew! I arrived and someone took care of me just like that. I was on my own the whole next day until my friends arrived. I accepted her generous offer to take be into town and called me several hours later to see if I needed a ride back!! Finally, when I had to make a 6 am flight out days later, Susan picked me up at 4:30 am to make sure I made it to the airport! WHAT????? See what I mean? There is no rival. Thank you, thank you, dear Susan. I can't wait to be your guest again.
