The restaurant is a little bit far from the Sorrento town centre, but it’s totally worth the walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, the wine was amazing, and the food was remarkably delicious. I ordered a Montoro pizza and it’s the best pizza I have had in my trip. We also ordered grilled octopus and a mini tiramisu. Both are fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious pizza. We had la gustosa. The crispy pancetta tasted very good. Excellent service. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Our order was served promptly.

Gluten free pizza was the best I have ever had in my life!! Homemade dough with the same exact texture and taste as normal pizza. We ate there three times in three days while in Sorrento because of how good it was. Antonino was there making pizzas, genuinely a wonderful experience.

Great place in Sorrento at the port! We stopped in here after getting off the ferry from spending the day in Ischia because we were so exhausted. Had a great meal but even better service from our server Salvatore! He was very warm and made great recommendations and we feel me made a great friend. He looks a lot like my husband's cousin in Milazzo, Sicily and even he agreed. We will definitely come back to see him the next time we are in Sorrento...... thank you Salvatore! 💜😘

Expected this to be a tourist trap because of its location but it was excellent. High quality food (maybe the best pizza we ate in Sorrento) and friendly wait staff. They also catered for Gluten Free which was so good we had to double check it actually was GF pizza.

Service was fantastic, and the food was the most amazing thing we have eaten. The gluten-free pizza was the best pizza I have ever had and was very similar to a normal pizza base. Would also recommend the eggplant parmigiana. The desserts were also delicious and a true work of art. For what we received, we would say the price was very reasonable. The only things to note is that you need to tell them in advance if you require gluten free pizza (we didn't know this but were still able to get one thankfully) and tips are cash only which is disappointing when you only have card and want to provide a tip. Overall, I could not recommend this more!

The service was horrible, the staff is rude. I’m sitting home reading the comments and the way they respond back to customers shows it. We initially tried to enter the restaurant from the second floor, but the two waitresses told us we couldn't and had to go down the hill to get inside. They also said, "we'll see if we can sit you," despite the restaurant being empty. Once inside, the two waitresses (one blonde and the other with light brunette hair) kept staring at us. We noticed they allowed two locals to go down the stairs, even though they had told us we couldn't. When we asked for bottled water, they just placed it on the table without any courtesy, when they poured everyone else’s. Our pizzas were uncut, unlike those of the three other tables. They cut their pizzas at the bar area. Additionally, when I went downstairs, I found vomit and urine in the women's restroom (there are only two restrooms, one for men and one for women). It smelled and looked like it had been there for a while and hadn't been cleaned up. The only thing good about this place was the views and the seafood skewer.

Great food , especially the parmajana dish and the sorrento pizza , The waiters called Salvatore was amazing and serve us with a lot of charm. We will definitely come back

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Delicious pizza and salad. I've been told that the pasta is fantastic. We ordered one fried then baked pizza and one regular. If you appreciate crunchy crust, go for the fried then baked. We kept it simple with the tomato and mozzarella, it was sweet and delicious. Fresh ingredients and melt in your mouth. The summer in sorrento pizza was light and fresh. I've had pizza all around Italy (with the exception of Naples) and this fried and baked pizza was one of the best I've had. The insalata with the tomatoes, mozzarella and basil was light, fresh and sweet. This style of salad is my favourite. It was one of the best ever. If you are ever in Sorrento, pleas visit this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I am not a big fan of pizza, but I figured I had to try some in Italy. Acqu'e Sale has great reviews online, but the main reason I chose to get my pizza fix there was their ricotta stuffed crust! I may not like pizza, but I love ricotta! Their hours were listed as being open all day. No reposito break. So I arrived at 6:45pm. There were several tables of customers on the patio. I was rudely told "We open at 7. Come back then." I wasn't offered to sit in their waiting area or anything. It also doesn't explain why others were allowed to sit at tables. I returned at 7:05 and was seated. The prices are a bit high for pasta (15-20€) but moderate for pizza (10€). I debated getting a fritto appetizer but those were also expensive (9€) and I was worried about making my bill complicated since several other reviews mentioned the staff double charging for items and hoping customers wouldn't notice. I ordered a single 10€ pizza. No drinks or anything else. The pizza was not good. The inside was drenched in water and oil, making it like a soup. The crust barely had any ricotta inside. It was disappointing. I only ate the crust. The staff didn't ask how it was or why I didn't eat most of it. The bill cane and there was a 2€ surcharge for "service." I know this is common in Italy, but the staff did very little to help me and I do not feel it was earned. I would not recommend this restaurant. In addition to the rude staff and mediocre food, the atmosphere was very uncomfortable and sterile. Not a relaxing place.

Yelp
Wasn't a fan - We finished a boat ride early and decided to catch a bite here (Sorrento) for lunch while waiting on our driver. The place is known for its pizza, but I was in the mood for something I hadn't tried before - a "frusteria" - at least that's what I think it was called. The dish consists of a strip of cooked pizza dough with thinly sliced ham and a ball of mozzarella cheese in a gouge made in the dough. That's the best I can describe it. It was ok, skimpy portion of meat with lots of dough and mozzarella. My wife had some of the worst risotto in Italy - couldn't eat it. So, they brought her out a gelato dessert that was pretty good. Maybe we should've gotten the pizza...

Yelp
This was our first place to eat in Italy, no regrets at all!! We loved all our meals, pizza, grilled octopus and bruschetta. It was too much for us to finish. Large portions. Excellent home wine. All fresh made. Fair priced.

Yelp
This was a close second favorite pizza place on our entire tour of Italy (and we ate a lot of pizza). We came twice during our stay in Sorrento.

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation from an Italian coworker. Before I make my bold statement, I would like to quickly disclaim that: 1) I came here for lunch and was the first person in the restaurant and 2) I haven't been going around Italy in search of the best pizza. All that said... This was the best pizza I had in Italy. When it arrived, my first thought was "that's so soupy, how will I be able to eat it?" But I used the method I saw in a travel blog (cut the pizza in quarters, pick up a piece and fold it in half. And it was perfect. So delicious. If you're a pizza connaisseur, I have no idea what you'd think, but to this basic tourist, it was the best I've had here.

Yelp
Great price, food and some friendly staff. We walked up on a Monday and picked a dirty table with no problem to be cleaned and sat. Menu and prices are good. Got the fried stuffed pizza and local Sorrento beer on draft. Mmm so good! Not very fast but good food and decent prices.

Yelp
Well I just got thru eating an hour lunch. The staff is very pleasant and because I was in Italy and love Italians I cut them A LOT of slack. 1. They brought the wrong dish to my wife. 2. When her Italian nephew got his vongola ( clams) and spaghetti there were literally no clams in the shells. 3. All the meals came out separately. 4. They forgot wife's salad. 5. Wait staff was nice but we had to ask for everything. 6. Finally put used plates on another table cause they never picked them up. 6. With what seems like the manager sitting a room near us you'd think that he would be watching, but no. Other than that it was pretty good. I really hated to put this in Yelp but they deserved it. No return for me.

Yelp
Decent price, delicious gluten free pasta with fresh whole fish. The wait staff was lovely and had great recommendations. The location (right next to the port) gave us slightly lower expectations, so we were very pleasantly surprised to have one of our favorite lunches of our trip here.

Yelp
50 min for a RAW PIZZA... You see a review on TripAdvisor and you think, ok this place is worth it and you take a reservation. We show up 5 min after our reservation time and not table....ok we can wait. After 15 min they did sit us and the waiter told that was 50 min waiting for a pizza.... Soo the end was 1 hour waiting time for a RAW PIZZA. WTF

Matt G.

Yelp
This place is absolutely terrible - don't waste your time or money. Disgusting, inedible salad (which they wouldn't refund saying the lettuce was "hot" rather than rotting). Pizza average. Hands down worst service I have ever experienced in many years of traveling. The bald head waiter was especially rude, unprofessional and unpleasant.

Yelp
6 of us for lunch. We arrived by sailboat so it was convenient being on the lower piazetta. We had made a reservation and we swiftly guided to our table. House wines are bottled. Excellent waitress. Food was good, not great. We had risotto which was the best dish served. Other dishes were pizzas of course, and spaghetti which didn't have much flavor. Beware the anchovies- they are salty beyond belief. Octopus with potatoes was over cooked. My husband says I should give this restaurant a solid B. My grade is somewhat less- you decide.

Yelp
Hands down the best meal I had in Italy. We loved it so much we came back a second time. I tried regular pizza, fried pizza, fresh fish and pizza dessert. Everything was impeccably made and deliciously fresh tasting. The high quality of the ingredients was immediately apparent. The fried pizza was my favorite. The crust was lightly fried, and then fresh toppings were added, so it wasn't soggy or greasy. You must try this!

Yelp
Fun, creative, delicious pizzas (and other dishes of course) featuring local specialties. Enjoyed dinner here my first night in Sorrento.

Yelp
I know Italians are known for taking their time but from the time we were seated to finally getting our food took 45 minutes. And this was at noon where they just opened.
