Google
I'll stay neutral on this airport when it comes to my three star rating number. Small airport that seems to works for what it's made for. Staff is small in size, so the manner on how their day is going. That always seem to reflect on their attitude in how they'll interact with you. Not much with choices for making stops here for items, food or entertainment. Yet this airport also works and has it's benefits if your in a rush, and just want to move on.

Easy in, easy out! Had no issues. We flew with Airlink and I'd highly recommend! On our way back to Ceiba, we actually flew in a Piper PA-32-260 Cherokee (4 seater) which was terrifying for me and thrilling for my partner.

Small airport, easy check-in. A little warm windows open no a/c. Staff nice and friendly.

A very easy way to get out of the island of vieques. Great service and costumer service.

Google
Nice neat little airport. Very well maintained, with very clean bathrooms, which was quite nice. The cafe is closed. If you're flying Cape Air, you can get away with showing up 30 min before your flight. They do have multiple runs, so if you show up early, you might be able to snag a seat on an earlier one for free.

Google
Obviously a small airport, but it allows quick travel to and from Vieques. The airport and the waiting areas are clean and well maintained. Easy access to the runway loading area for departing and arrival flights. Not much damage remains from Hurricanes Irma and Maria

Yelp
It's ok for it's purpose. I think parking here is free but then you would only use it if you are a local. The car rental companies like Maritza's will pick you up from here if you call them and take you to there facility about 2-3 miles away. Inside the lobby it is open air but inside the Vieques Air Link waiting area it's air conditioned. There are restrooms of course. During my visit a couple of weeks ago the second floor was closed so I don't know what is up there. Outside on the parking lot is a well regarded outdoor restaurant/food truck/bar but I didn't visit it. The air traffic here is almost 100% island hoppers like Vieques Air Link, Cape Air, etc. (which fly small 10 seat or less twin engine propeller planes) that will take you to Ceiba and San Juan on the big island along with a smaller island called Culebra nearby.

Yelp
In all fairness this is a tiny airport on a small island. However, customer service here was terrible. I had about 10 minutes of business to conduct on the island and was supposed to fly in and out quickly. Arrival was no problem, and when landing it looks like paradise. Do not be alarmed if there are horses on the runway or at the airport. They are all over the island. I arrived an hour before the rest of my team (they were on a different flight) and decided to eat at the on-site cafe. As soon as I ordered I instantly regretted it. It isn't very sanitary. There were flies everywhere and I had to wave a napkin the entire time I ate to keep the flies back. Needless to say my stomach hurt the rest of the day. My return flight was a major issue. They cancelled my flight due to a bad storm but didn't say anything to me. They started loading another plane and I had to step in and insist they put me on it. After some arguing I got aboard. These planes are small, about 5-6 passengers and I was sitting behind the pilot. Before take off he turned and said directly to me, "We are going to try this, say a Hail Mary." I was like WTF... The flight was terrifying! I honestly thought we were going to crash into the ocean but somehow we made it!

Yelp
Wow, you say, Max gives 5stars to an airport? Yup, this one in Vieques earns it. It functions well. It is clean. There is a well air conditioned waiting room for departing ticketed passengers. It's clean. There are plenty of electrical plugs close enough to the chairs to charge your "stuff" before departing. The upper level is where you check in. Leave luggage there. Take carry on with you to lower level. Use the ramp or elevator. Or walk down the spiral staircase and see artwork made by Vieques children. Feel special walking down that staircase. You should - you just vacationed in Vieques! Bathrooms on both floors. Clean but could use some scented stuff cause they are not AC'ed and sort of smell a bit. Staff are all bilingual. Security present but you don't go through baggage security or anything like that. It's done in San Juan. Oh, lots of free parking in well maintained lot. So, what's there not to warrant 5stars?

Yelp
There's no mistaking you are on a fun little island when you get off your tiny plane onto a sun drenched runway. It's super low key, as are a lot of things on Vieques. You walk in and wait for your bags on the world's smallest bag carousel. I mean it's kind of hilarious, there will be about eight bags coming out, but hey it would take a miracle for them to lose your bags on such a small plane! The WiFi works if by works I mean that you have to constantly log on and accept the agreement each time you go to a new page, but hey it's better than nothing. On our outgoing trip, we got stuck behind the world's worst New Yorker who literally delayed a handful of planes because she was just rapping on the counter trying to talk out a potential trip she wanted to take 2 weeks from now. I couldn't help think, look lady you can chat about this another time, this gigantic line of people has to get on a plane in like 20 minutes. The poor guy working was trying to hard to be polite but you could see in his face that he was about ready to pick her up and move her aside to let the line through. Much like the other island airports they weigh you before you get on your little plane so you get to see how much of those island meals you're taking home with you.. fun!

Yelp
I was only here for about 15 minutes. But this airport seems like it get the job done. It's a small place, but when we arrive from our flight from San Juan it was empty. The only people that were working appeared to be the Cape Air staff. I did not go upstairs because I was ready to get to my hotel, but the spiral stairs looked cool. Not much else to say. This is a small airport that appears to not be used to often, probably due to the high flight prices.

Yelp
It is a small airport but the folks are usually nice and capable. We usually take Cape Air and buy a coupon book to shuttle back and forth. Maritzas now have keeps at the airport so you can avoid taking a publico to a car rental place or waiting for their car to pick you up. No security lanes, just check in and head down. Security is in SJU.

Yelp
This is a cozy island airport. Hit up the bar nearby for some Medallas and a quick snack before takeoff. Check in on the second floor and wait on the ground floor (with AC!).

Yelp
Nice small airport. They have food concession right there with vegetarian options.

Yelp
Small airport with competent, helpful staff. Although small, this airport host a restaurant and bar that comes recommended by the locals.
