The booking:||We stayed here for 8 nights, after making our booking through www.despegar.com.ar. As usual, we presented our voucher to the staff when we checked in. However, when we checked out on our last day, the manager initially charged us a full price, despite the discount we received from the website. It wasn't until we showed him a copy of the voucher in our email that he apologized for the misunderstanding. TIP: Best to make two copies of vouchers if you have them, one for when you check in and the other when you check out.||||The room:||The room we got was very comfortable and spacious. It had a good sized bed, a small dining table and a kitchen area. The bathroom itself was just the right size for us. TIP: Bring your own soap and shampoo, since they do not provide these in the bathrooms. Our room was on the second floor facing the street. The view was ok, and we could see the mountains and the lake (from one corner of the window) when the weather permitted it. WORD OF CAUTION: Since our room was facing the street, we did experience some traffic noise coming into the room, especially from buses that ran through. This apart hotel does not provide breakfast, but that was fine with us, since the room had all the amenities (mini fridge, microwave, stove, etc). You are allowed to have food delivered but the hotel itself only had one menu from one restaurant if you asked for it. ||In terms of the daily cleaning of the room, we found that they only make the bed and tidy the table a little. The cleaning personal do not wash the dishes in the sink. They also only change the towels every other day.||||The staff:||The staff, aside from being very charming and helpful, also could assist you in making bookings for excursions or even rent a car. Ask to borrow their bus card if you want to travel by bus to nearby places (just load up on credit). They can also recommend places to go and eat.||||Others:||The laundry service provided was with a fare price, However, we had some complications with our laundry sent to them which I believe was just bad luck and timing on our part. You do, however, have to keep asking about your laundry in case they forgot.||The apart hotel itself is located up a hill, so be prepared to do a short "hike" every time you return after going out.||We only had one major problem during our stay, and it was caused by noisy tenants. Even though we kept making complaints to the staff on a daily basis, the occupants of the rooms down the hall from us kept being loud and noisy till the last day of our stay.
