Discriminatory Tattoo Policy
I recently considered joining a gym in Japan but was appalled to learn about their outdated and discriminatory policy regarding tattoos. Despite it being 2024, they require members to cover their tattoos, which I find completely unacceptable. Tattoos are a form of personal expression, and this policy felt highly discriminatory. It made me feel unwelcome and judged before I even signed up. I expected a more progressive and inclusive environment. Until they change this regressive rule, I cannot recommend this gym to anyone who values personal freedom and equality.
