Beautiful little cafe that became our regular (twice daily) place, whilst in Osaka. We recommend the espresso set. Very high quality (expresso) coffee that is smooth and consistent. A lovely place with amazing baristas who were friendly and kind enough to offer other cafe suggestions for our journeys!

I had a Geisha pour-over. It was a well-balanced cup. Honestly, I didn't think it was anything extraordinary. The coffee itself was better than average, but the shop was small, and I felt like customers were being too strictly managed, which made it hard to truly relax and enjoy the coffee. Bottom line: The coffee was good overall, but not mind-blowing. The uncomfortable atmosphere means I probably won't be back.

Savor LILO’s single-origin pour-over: vibrant fruity notes, silky body, and expert female baristas to make great coffee experience. Pure bliss in every sip! top 3 coffee shop in my osaka experience.

Aoma Coffee – Understated, Unforgettable ☕️ Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood 15 minutes from Shinsaibashi, Aoma Coffee is the kind of hidden gem you almost don’t want others to find. No logo, no flashy decor—just a clean, minimalist space that doubles as a roastery and community coffee bar. A third of the space is occupied by a Probat P5 roaster, humming softly as the scent of caramel and bean husk fills the air. Regulars drop by with reusable bags, exchange a few quiet words, and leave with beans or a pour-over. It’s not about trends—it’s about quality. I ordered a washed Colombian (¥650). The barista, calm and focused, told me it had been roasted three days ago—“the perfect time.” It truly was: nutty up front like fresh almonds, followed by a gentle sugarcane sweetness, and finishing with a whisper of citrus. Clean, balanced, and deeply satisfying. They also sell beans, and unlike many “design-first” brands, Aoma’s are modestly priced and seriously good. I brought some home without hesitation. Possibly my top coffee experience in Osaka this year—humble, precise, and quietly exceptional.

Stopped by here for a coffee as I had read it served a tasty cup. It delivered , but the cup was a little bit weak for my taste. The ambiance is modern and clean. There are several bean options to choose from, and you can buy beans to take home. The service was fast and friendly.

This was my favorite coffee in Osaka, very good coffee, also orange tonic espresso and most friendly Baristas who spoke perfect English and very knowledgeable.

We had a couple of coffees here at Aoma, both were prepared efficiently and tasted really top quality. We had Double-Macchiato (similar to a flat white), the girl preparing the coffee did a great job and speaks perfect English. Furthermore, the owner was at the back of the room where you can see him manually selecting the coffee beans and roasting them himself! Definitely worth a visit here if you enjoy proper, top-quality coffee (instead of the poor versions served in a lot of the usual chain stores in Japan)
